Walking alone, wet, and sad. Dorothy was so gloomy, she was at the hospital ground while looking at the scenery-it rains, memories keep on flickering inside her mind. She was brought to the hospital after Lucio—her Mother's friend came in to fetch her Mom, luckily he caught a glimpse of the blood all over the carpet floor, and wall. Thinking that Audrey hurt her daughter again made him worried, he quickly scanned her room and saw her on the bathroom floor lying and bleeding-a cutter was on her wrist and he panicked and impatiently delivered her to the clinic. "Why won't I die? Should I have to grieve a lot? What's with this world? I hate it here!" She exclaimed. She wept bitterly and it was too late for her to notice the tears from her eyes. She stood there all soaked up because of the heavy shower, she could feel the affliction of herself. She flinched in pain as boring rain hit her wounds, her skin was blemish and scars were all over, together with the fresh cuts caused by the torment she weathered. Everything was unbearable for her, "What's my purpose?" she raised a question to herself and neared her eyes for a moment, sensing the feeling-all emotions collided inside her chest. She gawked rearward when she heeded a voice, someone calling her from afar. "Dorothy!" A smile beams on her edges upon seeing the holder of the voice. It appears that she became calmer for a while. Right at the moment, she felt happy, even harder for a while. "Cal! What are you doing here? Wait, how are you?" she carelessly ran towards him and cuddled him tightly as she could, she missed him so much. "Ouch, your hug is too tight. You missed me, didn't you?" Dorothy couldn't help herself but blurt loudly, she pulled out the hug and checked every part of his face, she could not believe it. 'He's here... He is finally here!' she thought. "I miss you!" She sobs and falls to the ground as her knees tremble because of moreover emotion. She did not know what to respond to, discomfort and injury began to be felt when tiny gravel hit her wounded skin. Happiness is all she could feel as if it all washes away the pain which stings in her. "Hey, come on. Don't cry, I miss you too." The man picked her up and accompanied her closer to a bench, it was raining but it seemed nothing to them. "You look pale Dorothy. I'm glad that you didn't give up, you're such a brave girl." he caressed her head and stared at her, she was crying, and so he chuckled, letting out a bitter smile. "Don't worry, I know that you can do it. You're strong right? Just don't give up and continue living, I'm sorry for leaving you, I was being weak back then, you know that I loved you." His bitter smile turned into a chuckle upon hearing what he had said, she cried again, unable to stop the emotional feeling she has right now. "No, Cal. You already saved me back then, don't be sorry for leaving me. I was just not hoping that you'd come back, are you here to take me with you?" disappointment and sadness were plastered on her face when he slowly shook his head, "What?" "You won't be coming with me right now, you're not healed yet. You look so soft, Dorothy, you should eat a lot. You better take care of yourself." He uttered and forced a smile. He thought she'd stop crying but the opposite happened. She didn't wish to let go of him, he is the only man who understands her, when they are together, he's the one who always protects her. "Come here," he pulled her even more and gave Dorothy Scott a tight hug. He pities her, he knows she has been withstanding too much, he wants to help, how is that possible? "Go on, I know you haven't got someone to listen to your situations but you have me now, Dorothy," he whispered and smiled childishly, that made her miss him more, she missed his hugs, his smiles, his laughter, she misses those times when he always got her back. "I just want to be taken off," That made Cal pause for a moment and gaze at her, "I wanna die, I don't want here, I'm not happy here, Everyone hates me, Mom hates me, and then you left me." she started to sob again, her tears slipping from her eyes and tumbling down her cheeks as raindrops covered it shortly. With the cold breeze that slaps their covering, they didn't bother to get out of the place, they stayed there. She doesn't want anyone to see her crying, people think she is vulnerable, and she hates it. "Hey, I'm here now, please smile at me, come on..." He tried his best to cheer her up, and luckily he succeeded. They talked about a lot of things, from the past until the present time. She never wavered to share everything with him, she truly trusted him. All the pain, the torment, the thoughts, she let it out. Cal could sense how sad her voice was. She was about to sob but resisted herself rather. She forced a smile and continued telling everything that had taken place. They enjoyed each other's company, and that very moment Scott learned how to smile again-to laugh once more, hours had passed and it's time to bid goodbyes. Hefty waters didn't stop, and it was only her and Cal on the garden field, trying to make themselves feel better. He stood up, and fixed his eyes on her and despair could be seen on his face. She let out a smile and tried to stop herself from crying once more. "I know you will leave eventually," she whispered. He is departing and it's against her will. She sighed and waved her hand, she needs to be tough. She knows that they will still meet again at the right time. "Thank you for being there for me, Cal. Thank you for being my handkerchief whenever I am crying. You're always there to cheer me up when I am down, I will miss you again, I wish I can, however, do it, I hope it won't cause any burdens to me, I hope I can fight." The man replied with a smile. Her tears were overflowing once more and it caused her sight to blur. She's hurt once again, she knows that nothing and no one is permanent in this world, everything will soon vanish. Her sobs echoed with sorrow and thought came in her mind, 'I can do it, I know I can do it. I will live... I hope so.' The rain only got heavier, she came across to feel worse mainly when she found out that Cal was gone. It appeared that her heart was being strangled once more as if all the memories she had with him came back which will never be forgotten. She let out a forced smile, a bitter one. "I hope you're still there when we meet again, I love you, Cal, I do. You're the best brother ever, I'll miss you." She locked her eyes and sensed the coldness of the raindrop that kept on falling on her skin, she was wobbling her head gradually as if the sound of the falling liquids were like a melody in her ears. She was interrupted when she heard a voice, calling her from afar and this time her accent is way older. "Oh goodness! What are you trying to do, Scott? You'll get sick!" She loosened her eyes when she felt even heavier, raindrops were no more to be felt hence she glanced at the old nurse who was handing the umbrella to her. She saw the worries in her eyes. "Get inside! I'll change your clothing, you're still unstable! How did you even get here? Thank God somebody saw you here and told me right away. He said you're talking with somebody else but he didn't see anyone, you're hallucinating Scott, it's time to take your medicine, you're not well yet, but here you are bathing with the rain." The old nurse scolded her and helped the patient stand up from the bench. Dorothy smiled bitterly. "What's my worth?"
