"That's the most beautiful song I've ever heard! What does it mean?" Chloe said after his song.
"How can you tell it's beautiful if you didn't even understand the words on it?" He laughed at her sense of humor.
"Well, it's beautiful because you sang it. Even if I can't understand the lyrics, I felt it here!" She pointed at her heart.
Prince Moon suddenly became quiet and just stared blankly at her. That made Chloe feel uncomfortable. It seems that they are being too familiar with each other in just a few hours of being together. Sh3 suddenly felt guilty because she was supposed to be married to the king.
"I wrote it a long time ago. It's a song about longing for someone to love. What will happen when I finally find her?" He explained the song but seems to be referring to her.
"That made it more beautiful now that I know what that song means." She can't stop responding to his advantage.
"It's more beautiful now that you have already heard it." He said and stared at her intently.
Chloe doesn't know what to say anymore so she just chooses to be quiet. How come her heart is beating this fast? She feels that way when Johnny is around. But it's different with Prince Moon and she knows that this is not right.
Both of them just stare ahead trying to understand what is going on between the two of them. Chloe started scolding herself because she knows that she seems to be attracted to him. He feels the same way towards her.
"I think we have to go back!" He suggested and she agreed right away.
He holds her hand tightly once again as if it's the most natural thing to do. But Chloe can feel the touch of his hand through her heart. What's going on? She feels more confused the more she thinks about it.
"I guess I have to return you to the king for now." He said once they already reached the palace.
Chloe saw James walking towards her and she immediately forced a smile. Now she feels how unloyal wives face their husbands after spending stolen moments with their lovers. But they just hang out to see a beautiful place. There's nothing wrong with that, right?
"My queen, I didn't know you were with my brother. We're all so worried about you!" James greeted and kissed her cheek.
Chloe looks immediately at Prince Moon who's looking straight at James. He looks hurt to see her with the king once again. James' acting seems to be getting good since he's staring at her lovingly. As if he is a real husband to her.
"The queen seems to get lost from her walk. I happened to see her on my way here." Prince Moon lied with a straight face.
Maybe she should avoid him from now on. Chloe knows that something might happen if they spend more time with each other. It's hard to deny the fact that they like each other. Not just because he looks like her favorite drummer from the Idolz.
"I was about to ask for you, brother. The Japanese are almost in Hanyang. I have to go with the troops to stop them. Will you look after my queen while I'm gone?" James informed Prince Moon.
"Sure, of course! Anything for you, brother!" He agreed almost immediately.
OMG! Did James just say he's going in a war and that he will leave you with Prince Moon? Their stay in Hanyang is getting complicated now. The king has to lead his troops to stop the Japanese and it happens to be James. What if something bad happens to him?
"Are you that worried, my queen?" James asks her since she's holding his sleeve tightly.
"Do you have to go? Can't the soldiers go without you?" She asked him with a worried look.
James pulled her away from other people so they could talk. But they can only whisper at each other. Nobody should know that they're from another time. That will cause a stir for sure and they might end up in prison. Or even worse than that.
"I have to go, Chloe! I'm the king now." He whispered to her.
"What if you got hurt or worse? Don't be a hero around this time, James!" She scolded him.
"Whoa, you're worried about me!" He said and smiled at her.
"Stop joking around! If you must go, you can't get hurt. If you die from that battle, I swear I will kill you!" She warned him.
"How can you kill me if I'm already dead?" He's laughing at her reaction now.
Chloe felt frustrated with him but she hugged him in front of everyone. She caught Prince Moon's eyes unexpectedly. Does he look hurt and sad with what he's seeing right now? But you can't just push James away. He's the king of Hanyang!
"Let go of me, James! Everyone is looking at us." She informed him.
"What? Can't I hug my wife?" He asked and then gave her another quick kiss.
That does it for Prince Moon! Chloe saw him leaving the area. But decided not to cause a fuss. Around this place, she is the wife of the king. She can't be torn between the king and his brother. James finally decided to let her go.
"Chloe, don't worry! I'll come back to you whatever happens!" James assured her.
"Just be careful!" She reminded him.
Chloe is worried about him because he's her responsibility. James can't get hurt while they're here. But maybe he misinterpreted the way she treated him. Now she's confused about how she feels about him.
He kissed her multiple times which means that he must have felt something for her. It's her fault for kissing him back and because she suddenly changed her mind. Her confusion made her feel unsure about her feelings.
"Tim will look after you while I'm gone." James reminded her.
"He's not Tim!" She reminded him.
"I know, it's just hard to be formal all the time." He chuckles.
"When are you leaving?" She asked.
"Right now. Where did he go?" He replied casually.
"Are you kidding me?" She can't believe he will be leaving now.
"There he is!" James ignores her and waves at Prince Moon.
"James, can you tell them you will just follow? We can just leave if you want!" Chloe suggested.
But James just ignored her suggestion. It seems that he has already made up his mind. She can't do anything to stop him from facing the Japanese. Prince Moon is now in front of them, ready to follow the king's orders.
"Bro, take care of my queen for me, alright?" James said and left her with his unknown competition with Chloe.
