Chloe and James step back when they see their reflection on the river. They went here to spend some quality time together. But they didn't expect that this would happen. Looking back on their reflection seems not to fit. It's not them but the real king and princess.
Chloe almost forgot how old she was until today. That woman who looks like her is the same age as her. Although that's not her since there's something about her that's off. James also noticed his reflection doesn't belong to him. When they both tried to look again, there was nothing.
As if it was just a hallucination but they both see them. Chloe feels confused about it as well as James. What if those are the real people they are pretending to be? That means they are also stuck on their timeline. They must have been very sacred because of the modern world.
"You also saw that right?" James asked.
"Yeah, that was weird!" Chloe replied.
"But why does the woman look like the handbook shopkeeper?" He's confused.
"James, I think it's time for you to know about that. I'm the shopkeeper but I can't understand how I became younger when we got here!" She admitted to him.
"Stop kidding around!" He replied but saw the expression on her face.
"I'm not joking, James! I am already 40 years old. Maybe I just got mixed with Princess Amaya and become younger instead." She explained to him.
James stared at her intently to see if she's serious about it. She didn't even show any sign that she was joking. It looks like she's serious about it. That means that she was the same storekeeper he met. He even remembered being with Tom that day.
"What about Tom, did he also end up here?" James looks confused.
"I'm not sure, I didn't see him in the shop." She replied.
They became quiet as if thinking about what just happened. Chloe is more worried about what James thinks now that he knows she's that old. But she didn't even dare to ask her about her age anymore. She checks on the water of the Hanggang river again but there's nothing.
"I think we just experienced a time slip," James informed her.
"What if it's the sign that we should go back?" She asked.
"That means we have to always stay together then." He replied.
James looks like he's about to say something but dismisses it. He doesn't want to tell her about what Yoshi has given him. It was from the emperor's adviser, who happens to be a time traveler. That's a time travel device for them to go back.
But James is not ready to go back to the present time yet. He still wants to spend more time with Chloe. Even when she admitted her true age, he didn't care. She made him only look at her around here. He's been with a lot of women before but Chloe seems to be different from them.
That's why she seems to be caring about him. She treats everyone nicely and is not conceited like other women. He always thought that because she didn't know how beautiful she was. She's older than him, that's why she has this air of class in her.
It's also the reason why it's believable that she is a princess. She doesn't look like an ordinary woman as far as he can remember. He feels comfortable with her even back from the hanbok shop. He never felt this way before.
"Let's go back to the palace. We don't want guards to suddenly show up here." Chloe suggested.
"Sure, let's go!" He agreed to her and held her hand.
Chloe can't believe that he's still treating her the same after knowing about her age. Maybe because it doesn't show on her face right now. He will change when he sees her back to her old self again. For now, she decided to enjoy their moments.
Back in Seoul…
"Did you just see that?" The king asked.
"Yes, I saw our reflection on the water but wearing our traditional clothes." Amaya agreed to what he said.
"I don't think that's our reflection at all! Maybe that's James and the woman who looks like you." He theorized.
"Her name is Chloe according to Jenny. Do you think they also saw us?" She asked him.
"I'm not sure but it's possible. Maybe we will be home soon!" He replied excitedly.
Yung Ho wanted to go back to the palace so bad. That's where he was still the king of Hanyang. Around this time and place, he's a popular musician. But he still misses being a king instead of entertaining people. They should be doing that for him!
"That means we don't need to get hurt anymore just to go back!" Amaya exclaimed.
"Nobody should get hurt! We will be home soon so be careful from now on." He reminded her.
Amaya nodded and they divided to get back to his apartment. She's pretending to be his assistant. Although she can't do any household chores or even cook a simple meal. The Idolz just let her stay for their leader's sanity. They thought that it would be best for him to have her around.
"OMG! It's James Seo!" A woman screamed seeing him walking on the street.
"We have to run now, Amaya!" James told her and pulled her to start running.
They forget how fanatics are people on this timeline. James is very popular around this place. That's why they can't always go out without getting swarmed by fans. But the fans are gaining on them. They have to cross the street to get to the other side.
"Amaya, what are you doing?" He asked when she tried to go in that direction.
"We can only lose them if we get to the other side of the road!" She replied and pulled her hand away from him.
She ran to cross the road and Yung Ho followed. They didn't notice a huge truck approaching. The driver didn't notice them crossing the street and they ended up getting hit by the truck. Darkness follows after that before they even know what just happened to them.
