Just as Mo Shan and Yun Xi were planning to go downstairs, Mother Mo and Father Mo called for them. 
“Leave Yun Xi with me. I have something to talk to her about.” Mother Mo told her son. Mo Shan was going to reject it, but Father Mo chided in. “Let the ladies talk. Come, I have something to tell you too. Moreover, my wife won’t eat your wife.” Since Father Mo had spoken, there was nothing Mo Shan could do. So, he followed after his father, leaving the ladies inside.

Yun Xi felt warmth seeping through her when she heard Mother Mo’s words. “Mmmm, I won’t. I had already readied myself when I decided to be Mo Family’s daughter-in-law. I know many will become a burden in my way. But I don’t mind that as long as family members are safe and sound.”

After talking with Yun Xi, Old Master Mo now turned to his grandson. "And you brat, go and introduce Xiao Xi to everyone. She is your wife now. Are you still waiting for me to announce it to everyone for you?"
