"Oh, right! What did you do with that couple earlier? I didn't see them after that incident." Yun Xi asked Mo Shan.
To her surprise, Mo Shan grabbed her hand instead of answering her directly. Yun Xi felt flustered at his sudden action. He was also looking at her with a deep gaze, which made Yun Xi even more nervous.

Yun Xi blushed furiously when she heard his words. Her heart was pounding crazily, and she couldn’t even meet his eyes. She was glad that the room was lit up with dim lights. Otherwise, he would have seen her red face. And she would have been embarrassed.

“Xiao Hui, what are you doing here?” Yun Xi asked.
Xiao Hui replied innocently. “Mommy disappeared for a long time. So, Xiao Hui got worried. I came to check upon Mommy.”
Yun Xi smiled and pinched his nose, “Darling is the best. Come let’s go sleep now. You must be tired, right?”
Xiao Hui nodded and took her hand to walk inside the room. But Yun Xi suddenly paused in her steps. She didn’t have enough courage to face Mo Shan yet. “What to do?” She thought.
Xiao Hui looked at his mother confused. Why did she suddenly stop? He pulled her hand and asked, “Mommy, what happened?”
“Mmm baby, Mommy will go and get milk for you first, okay? Children to drink a glass of milk before going to sleep. You go in first. Mommy will be back soon.” Having said that, she ran away.

“Really?” Xiao Hui asked again clearly not believing his father.
Mo Shan instantly replied, “More real than gold. So come on, help me pursue your mother instead. That way, she will forever be your mommy.”
Xiao Hui thought seriously for a while and said, “Deal.”
