Chapter 16 Hope

It's October 2013, a bright sunny morning over the plains of Braventown. The children are studying in their respective classes together with their teacher. Not long after someone came by opening the classroom door and the other students noticed the person. He quickly sat down in his chair and at that moment a boy with curly hair looked at him curiously. The teacher who was explaining today's lesson made them feel bored and wanted it to end quickly. The elementary school, which is located north of the 34th district of the city of Braventown, feels so different from the school in general. In this place all the students contain children who come from the same place that's why they already know each other even before entering the new school year. The bell rang signaling the end of class and they had to rest. The children in the class were happy and then cleaned up all the books on their desks and left the class. The teacher was also the same after this went to the teacher's room to get ready to take a break. When he was about to go outside, suddenly a girl with curly hair approached the girl who had just finished from the toilet.
"Wait, you're going to play with me today right?" said the curly haired boy.
"Yes. What do you want to play?"
“In my room there are some dolls that I made using cloth. Do you want to see?”
"Of course. That seems good. Oh yeah, did you make it alone?”
"You're right Seraphine that I made it," said the boy with a bright smile on his face.
"Wow, I can't wait to see it."
"Don't worry, I'll show you later."
"Oh yeah Lora, have you done your homework?"
"Oh, I forgot."
The two children continued to talk and they then entered the canteen to eat together. The atmosphere of the cafeteria that seemed so crowded made them both have to queue for a while and then it was their turn. The food provided here is only healthy food and nothing else. When the two of them were about to sit down, a child fought with their friend in front of the table and instantly made the atmosphere tense. The two children hit each other and were then taken to the teacher's room after the two of them were successfully separated. Seeing this incident, Seraphine and Lora were surprised and a little scared. The two of them were finally able to eat in peace until the break was over. This time the last lesson started 30 minutes later. The quiet atmosphere of the class made their teacher feel happy because the children in the class were not naughty children. They all always listen to what the teacher says without protest. Time flies so fast, finally today's lesson is over and they can go home.
"Alright kids, today's lesson ends here. Please go home carefully on the road, "said the teacher to all of them.
"Okay teacher."
They all went home and it turned out that when they got home which was an orphanage dormitory, they felt comfortable because they had to be free from the strict school. Dormitories that look clean and also comfortable to live in make them happy even though in reality they don't have families. Seraphine and her friend Lora are both in the same room with 10 other girls. Not long after, the orphanage they called as teacher called all of them to come to the dining room. When they got there they all enjoyed their meal along with the others. Their teacher named Emily saw the orphanage children feel happy and that made her happy too.
"After eating, don't forget to study, okay?" Emily said
"Okay teacher."
I can't believe that Seraphine is now 8 years old. It had been a long time since Emilly had found her in front of the orphanage, at that time it was raining heavily and there was the sound of a baby crying outside. Emily, who sensed someone's presence but when she came to open the door, all she could see was a crying baby basket. The cold air that enveloped the city at that time made Emily immediately take her inside and as soon as she looked to make sure there was no one there. Inside the bassinet was a letter with the child's name on it and it said "Seraphic." Emily, who was 37 years old at that time, found a new child that she would take care of in this orphanage. One year later, it turned out that the child was growing up healthy and was always seen laughing when their older sister who was also an orphan took care of him and invited him to play. Seeing this made Emily feel happy. The identity of the child is not known even until Seraphine grows into a beautiful child. Emilly and the head of the orphanage and the other caretakers were used to the same thing as when Seraphine came to the orphanage and they didn't care about where she came from. A few months later after Serphine turned 11 years old. A pair of father and mother came to the orphanage and was then welcomed by Emilly.
"Excuse me."
"Yes. Please come in, ladies and gentlemen," Emily said to the two of them and then entered Emilly's study.
“I'm Marchell Yves and this is my wife Keyla Yves. Actually our arrival here is that we need a new family member.”
"Yes. We really need his presence," said Keyla
"Okay, I understand what you're here for. Please both of you to choose who you want to take home. Let me deliver it," Emily said as she got up from her seat and then invited the two of them to come to the room where the children were.
"Looks like they're busy playing."
"Right. because coincidentally today is a holiday and again we never allow them to go outside. Given that it's dangerous out there."
"You are very considerate."
Emily just smiled and then they came to a room which inside was a library. There were several children in the room. However, what caught the attention of the two of them was none other than Seraphine who was sitting reading several books in front of her. It didn't take long for the two of them to approach him and then greet Seraphine.
"Wow, you read all these books?" said Keyla gently to the sitting Seraphine. Seraphine then glanced at Keyla's face and smiled.
"Yes. I read all of these books.”
"Great. Oh isn't this a book about art? Are you interested in art?”
"Of course madam. For me this is the best.”
“Your taste is very good. what's your name?"
"Seraphine. Just call me Sara."
"Beautiful name. I'm Keyla Yves."
“That kid looks unusual. Was it just my sight?" Marchell said to Emily who was in front of him.
"Your vision is not wrong. Seraphine does have an advantage that is quite fast compared to other children her age."
"I see. Is he that genius?”
"That's right sir."
"Wow that's great."
After they both saw all the children in the orphanage and then returned to Emily's study. There they both started discussing it and came to a decision that they both took. There were a lot of considerations between the two and it turned out that there was nothing more interesting than the child. Their views were never wrong and in the end Emilly also agreed to their request to bring Seraphine home.
“We have decided to take the child. this will make us happy," Marchell told Emily.
"Of course I understand. Now I will make the documentation first. Sorry to have to wait a bit.”
"It does not matter. We're not busy," said Keyla
The 11-year-old Seraphine was then brought in by the two of them as a new member of their family. When all the children found out that Seraphine would be adopted by the Yves family, that night Lora overheard Emilly's conversation and the head of the orphanage agreed with the two people's requests. Lora, who was about to go to the study, suddenly heard a sound at the door of the next room. Feeling curious finally forced to eavesdrop on their conversation and that's the conclusion. The other children who heard Lora's statement were happy because the genius Seraphine finally got the family she had always dreamed of. Even though Seraphine also already considered everyone in the orphanage as her family. From the bottom of her heart, her biggest wish in life is to go to the outside world where everyone looks different and they become friends. A beautiful image appeared in the little boy's eyes innocently seeing the world from his point of view. Until the day finally came when his dream would come true. So far, I never imagined what it would be like to have a family who loved him even though it wasn't real. Seraphine already knew the truth that her parents threw her into an orphanage since then when she was only 5 years old. This fact initially made him sad for a long time before finally Bella, who he considered his older sister, also experienced the same thing and from there the sadness ended up being replaced by hope.
"Sera."
"Eh? What is it? why are you looking at me like that?”
"Safe. Your dream will come true," said Lora while hugging her and then followed by other children.
"My dream? Am I going to be adopted?”
"Right. You know the two people who came this afternoon. They will take you into their family. Isn't that fun?"
“Oh...”
"Yes. That way you can become an artist like you've always dreamed of,” said one girl with short blonde hair.
"I also hope that my turn will come," said a red-haired girl.
"You..." said Sera who then cried.
"Why are you crying. Don't be sad we will be fine until the time we are waiting for comes. Be happy there," said Lora with tears in her eyes.

Creativity that sharpens clarity is genius.” I put this first because it's the most important tip you can take from this list. If you do nothing more than write clearly, you're going to be in the top 10% of all writers. Don't try to sound impressive, just try to be clear.

The writing is actually good, unlike most of the novel in this app it has great grammar, not my type of book since it's a crime genre but i recommend it to those who likes that type of book.
