Chapter 30 Invitation
In the city of Eldelius to be precise in an old castle belonging to someone who was none other than the Strauss family. In a room that is quite dark. Someone opened the curtains so that sunlight could enter the room. There Ilya had just woken up from her sleep. As soon as her maid was about to leave her room it wasn't long before Ilya said something to her.
"Good morning miss, did you sleep well?" said Kenedy
"As usual. Oh yes, in the near future we will have guests. They seem very interesting," said Ilya with a smirk
“Then I will prepare a banquet.”
"Just do it."
"Excuse me, miss."
"Yes."
After Kenedy came out of Ilya's room, then walked down the castle hallway to a room which was the dining room. There, another waiter was also preparing breakfast. They look busy. The life contained in the Strauss family castle can be said to be quite alive even though they seem very mysterious.
"Everyone hear. In the near future someone will come here, so please be prepared when that day comes," said Kenedy to the servants
"Well. butler," said the maids to Kenedy
Currently in Jake's room at the headquarters of the human protection organization. Gabriel and the others were discussing the plans they would carry out. The atmosphere that looks serious makes the atmosphere feel gripping. Mckena who had just arrived joined their conversation. Even though all of this was sudden, they both seemed to be interested in the mission Jake offered.
“Actually… I used to come there when I was little. And at that time, there were a lot of terrible events before my eyes,” said Gabriel, who unconsciously said his past memories
"What happened?" ask Jake
Everyone looked curious about it and waited for Gabriel's answer.
"It's hard to believe. Everyone close to me died strangely. That's why uncle took me to Antherius so I can forget all that. Hah! It's ridiculous how I had to go back there after everything I wanted to forget," Gabriel said with a sharp look
"I understand your experience. It's just that if you two don't meet that person there, I don't think it will work. This plan will fail," said Jake
“Wait a minute, your past wasn't pleasant but there must be a reason. Oh yeah, do you believe in curses? It's possible that you experienced that so that people who were near you had to experience bad luck," said Mckena
"Curse? Are you sure such a thing exists?” ask Gabriel
"There is. But that is unlikely to happen unless there is a cause. What were you doing before? Did you pick up anything strange?” Leo said to Gabriel seriously
"Of course not. After all, I was still a child at the time.”
"Then it's up to you to decide. I can't force it," said Jake
“Hmm… this is interesting. How about I come with you two too. Besides, I happen to have business in Eldelius city," Mckena said
"Okay. I don't care about the past. If it really is a curse shouldn't all I have to do is find out?” Gabriel said
"Okay. You three please do well. get as much information as you can and again this is a step towards approaching the Abyss.”
"Of course."
They finally agreed on a departure for Eldelius. So far the horrific events that have occurred in the city of Antherius and even the impact cover a wide area. This country is quite mysterious. Few people know the fact they all mostly live in mirages. The organization that was formed is not clear when and even the things that are beyond reason that are impossible to happen in this day and age are all wrapped up in secret. This time Gabriel was still at headquarters, he was resting in a room which was a special room for rest. Previously when he was about to enter his room, many members of this organization were busy and even they all looked like they were in an emergency. There's nothing safer out there than taking shelter in a shelter. Gabriel continued to stare at the ceiling while contemplating something.
"Are you sure about that decision?" Jake said
"This is beyond expectation. After all, if we just stay silent, we will only become their next victim," said Mckena
"Abyss. Where are they located? If the victim continues to fall then.... wait a minute, don't tell me all this for..." Jake said with a face covered in cold sweat.
"Your guess wasn't wrong. This is part of the ritual," said a professor who had just arrived. The person's name is Julia. His appearance is quite attractive to look like a professor in general. Julia is an archaeologist and theologian. Currently working in a human protection organization.
"Damn it! This is terrible.”
"That's why they had to stop him," said Julia
"They? Shouldn't we?" said Mckena
"No. You are wrong. By sending them you're coming too, right? That way you can solve the mystery even though it's too dangerous for the sake of this world. The Abyss is a villain that must be exterminated.”
“I understand what you are worried about. It's just that, if it's too selfish it won't have any impact either. this is beyond reason. Don't you already know Miss Julia?" said Mckena
Julia was silent and so was Jake. After the three of them chatted suddenly someone reported that the people who were in the underground hideout in their eastern region of Antherius were all dead. The condition is very worrying. No one is safe. As soon as the relief team arrived to do their job they were shocked by the condition of the place being destroyed.
"What! impossible! It should be a very safe place I'm sure of it," shouted Julia
Jake and Mckena could only be surprised and the two of them then headed towards the place. when he got there it was true what his subordinates said. The place had been destroyed and again the bodies of people were scattered in the room which were now almost buried under the ground.
“Bastard! Who did this?!” Jake said angrily
While they were looking at the condition of the place, from a distance someone stood on top of a ruined building. That person was wearing a clown mask with black clothes like a cloak. The wind then blows around the person. Horrible sights graced the place. Jake's exasperated scream echoed around the place. Those who are there now have witnessed only horrific results. This time there was no safe place other than headquarters. Mckena who accidentally saw the strange symbol of the bloodstain then noticed it.

34The writing is actually good, unlike most of the novel in this app it has great grammar, not my type of book since it's a crime genre but i recommend it to those who likes that type of book.
