Chapter 28 Help

Silence broke the darkness of the night under the sky of Antherius. The building that initially looks towering is filled with various activities like a megapolis in general. But now it's all just a memory. Something mysterious has shattered the surface leaving only the rubble of buildings along the eyelids. The dark night makes the atmosphere even more mysterious. The air is cold enough to make the body seem frozen in death. In a room filled with a sea of red roses. This time the only visible figure was Gabriel's shadow lying on top of the flowers growing in the room. The light made his eyes instantly open and he realized the situation. Inside, he only saw the vast area without the presence of a mysterious figure that made him curious. The emptiness that enveloped his chest felt tight and could not be understood by common sense.
“This place again. What is this? How could I return to this terrible illusion again? damn it,” Gabriel grumbled while placing his palm on his face. not long after he got up to stand looking around the empty space without the presence of humans other than himself.
“Bright yet cold. the atmosphere here feels like in the mountains. Irritating."
Gabriel continued to walk along the empty room. The wind blows carrying the red rose petals scattered there. As time went on he became more and more unable to control his consciousness. Suddenly a pain as if he was stabbed by a sword blade made him stagger and then lie down in the flower field. The sky that looked bright turned dark like an endless night. His breath was so tight the pain spread through his body faster and faster. His heart rate was increasing more and more. Gabriel continued to endure the pain until he shed tears of blood and shocked him as soon as he saw the blood on his palms. The room that was previously filled with a sea of red roses had now turned into a sea of blood. The bodies of the people there all looked terrible. Teeth filled the room even he could not escape and only asked for help that never came. Despair gnawed at his body to the point where he kept screaming.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhh……”
The people who were in the hiding room were then startled by the screams that sounded on Gabriel's bed so that the medics rushed to him. As soon as they saw Gabriel's condition who continued to scream with his eyes closed, they felt strange and immediately woke him up.
"Are you okay?" said the medic as soon as Gabriel came to his senses. Seeing the medic in front of him made Gabriel feel helped that it was just a dream.
"Oh, fortunately. This shit is crazy,” Gabriel said breathlessly.
"Did something happen?"
“That… a dream.”
"Good thing you were only dreaming. Nothing to worry about."
"What luck! I almost died. It wasn't just any dream I'm sure."
The medics were confused by what Gabriel had said, so the two of them in front of Gabriel were silent and just stared at each other.
"This. Drink it," said the medical officer while giving him an anti-depressant.
"No. I don't need medicine," Gabriel refused
"Then if there's something don't hesitate to tell us. Excuse me."
"Of course. Please."
The two medical officers left the room. The people who were there along with Gabriel suddenly wondered what had just happened to him. They looked at him with curious faces and continued like that even made Gabriel feel uncomfortable for him. Until someone dared to ask Gabriel while approaching him. That person is a small child who is still studying in junior high school. The girl approached him kindly.
"Sorry. What happened to you before?” said the girl in a slightly awkward tone.
“Ah, that… I was just dreaming.”
"Like what?"
"Eh? Certainly not fun.”
"I see. What do you see in there? A hint?”
"What do you mean?"
"Your scream was so loud it nearly burst my eardrums. What really happened?"
'This kid is terrible. Why ask like this?' Gabriel thought
"I told you. It was just a nightmare.”
"Be careful. You must not fall."
"What?"
Suddenly it sounded strange. The soft voice echoed into his ears for quite a long time. The boy then left, leaving Gabriel who was dreaming. His words seemed to make him even more speechless. As soon as Gabriel looked at the girl with short hair, he fell silent again. the people who were here made Gabriel suddenly feel a sensation that made his adrenaline rush. His leg was still wrapped in bandages and it took a long time to heal. Mixed feelings filled his head.
'That kid... no way. I don't believe in magic. It's not real,' Gabriel thought
4 days later, Gabriel has recovered from his wound and now he wants to go outside to get some fresh air because the hiding room that feels in the basement is so suffocating. Previously he also had time to meet Samuel who was still lying weak because a building was hit, luckily he could still be saved. Now his condition is getting better considering that Samuel is conscious. Gabriel was now outside the base. There you can see the ruins of city buildings along the road. The weather was sunny but he wasn't as sunny as the weather. In his heart is still embedded despair for this life. While he was walking around the city suddenly someone came up to him that person was none other than Leo.
"Gabriel."
"Oh, you. What is it?"
"There's no time to explain. Come with me quickly."
"What are you doing."
"I told you to hurry."
"Yes yes."
The two of them then went by car to a place. Once there they both entered a border gate of district 78. And finally they arrived at the headquarters of a human protection organization as previously said by Lucy. Gabriel and Leo got out of the car and headed straight for a room inside. As he entered the hall, Gabriel saw that the people who were bustling here and there seemed to be running errands.
"Why did you bring me to this place?" Gabriel asked Leo
"You'll know as soon as you meet him."
"Who are you referring to?"
In a room at the headquarters of the human protection organization. Someone was waiting for the two of them to arrive. And as soon as the two of them arrived, they were greeted warmly by him.
"You've finally arrived. How are you Gabriel?” said the person to Gabriel while shaking hands
"I'm fine. By the way this place...”
"Right. this is our headquarters welcome.”

Creativity that sharpens clarity is genius.” I put this first because it's the most important tip you can take from this list. If you do nothing more than write clearly, you're going to be in the top 10% of all writers. Don't try to sound impressive, just try to be clear.

The writing is actually good, unlike most of the novel in this app it has great grammar, not my type of book since it's a crime genre but i recommend it to those who likes that type of book.
