Gabriel was currently in a room at the headquarters of the human protection organization. The headquarters were very large and there were a large number of people working under their leadership. Gabriel is now dealing with one of his members along with Leo. The conversation started there when they both greeted each other.
"How about getting straight to the point, sir," Gabriel said
"Of course. Do you think all of this happened by chance? The answer depends on the facts, doesn't it?”
"So you don't think this is a coincidence?"
"Yes. There's no way this was just a coincidence. Wouldn't you think so too?"
"Wait a minute, if this isn't a coincidence what's the point of all this?" Leo said
"Oh yeah, I forgot to introduce my name. Introducing I'm a member of a human protection organization, Jake French I am also a detective. Nice to meet you."
"Yes. Nice to meet you, sir," Gabriel said
“Just as I thought, there was someone who caused all of this. Actually their existence at first glance cannot be trusted with common sense but that is the reality.”
"I thought there was something strange about all this," Gabriel said
"Several members have carried out investigations but the results are the same. That's why I asked the two of you for help."
"Eh? Why? Aren't you a detective and also a member of this organization? Why should we?” ask Gabriel
"I think you'll find a clue. That's why I ask the two of you for help. Actually this is not without reason. There are many factors why I should choose you two. Please have a look at this draft file.”
"Okay," said Leo
In the draft file there are several cases. Of all the cases that have been handled by Jake, it turns out that all of them have something in common, namely about crimes against humans. And what made them most curious was the case of an organization called the Abyss. In the file there is no description of who their members are and there it is only recorded that they have something beyond human understanding. Because of this a group of people formed an organization which is now called the human protection organization. And the case regarding the Abyss happened 100 years ago, in other words, this is just a fairy tale that has been told by the elders. As soon as they read the document, Gabriel and Leo fell silent. They couldn't believe what they had just read.
“This, isn't this just folklore? How do you call this a fact?” ask Gabriel
"No. You are wrong. This is not folklore but history that was deliberately erased.”
"What do you mean? Oh shit my head hurts what's wrong with you guys? This doesn't make sense. This world fell into the hands of the Abyss? Impossible. The Abyss is just a fairy tale,” Gabriel said in frustration.
16 years ago, in a living room at Gabriel's house. There he was with his uncle. The cold weather made them both enjoy the warmth by sitting on the sofa right in front of the fire that is close to the living room. Currently the two of them are still in their old house in a village on the outskirts of Antherius before they finally moved from there.
"Uncle, what book are you reading?" asked little Gabriel with a curious face
"This is an old book. Erased old history ."
“Old history erased? What's that?"
"Hahaha when you grow up you'll understand."
“What if Gabriel is big?”
"That's because of the fate line."
"Eh? What's that? quickly tell uncle! Tell me!”
"What can I do, 100 years ago before this world had the power of both sides. The white party was the humans while the black party called themselves the Abyss. At first the two made peace with each other until one day someone found Pandora and opened it there, an evil entity possessed a person, causing darkness to cover the world. However, thanks to the magical power of the Abyss people put the entity in their hands and a nightmare occurred where the entity swallowed the Abyss and made them destroy the world."
“If the world is destroyed? How can humans now live?”
"It is because...."
"Gabriel! Why are you daydreaming?” Leo said to Gabriel who was beside him.
"Ah, that... I suddenly remembered a similar story."
"Story?"
"Wait a minute. If that's true, how could everyone forget that history so easily?”
"Your question is smart too, it's because they erased his memory."
"WHAT?" they both shouted
“Memories that are erased will never come back. That's why history is called history that is erased. Because no one remembers it. But, some archaeologists try to reveal that fact until now. And the connection with this incident is a curse. Pandora's curse came to terrorize this world again. That's just my assumption no, even an archaeologist in this organization thinks the same. Maybe that's what they did. But the actual fact no one knows for sure. Unless there are descendants of them."
"This is crazy. Come on," said Gabriel
"Are you just going to leave?" Leo said
"What can I do? Besides, if it's a curse, you should ask a psychic for help, not me."
"That's because you have something to do with it," Jake said
“What else is this? Impossible."
“This is indeed hard to believe in my investigation as well. They all died because of that there was nothing I could do. Then why am I asking you? Isn't it obvious you can. There is something in you that you are not aware of. Do you understand?”
Hearing Jake's words which made Gabriel gasp, Leo noticed the look on Gabriel's face which seemed to confirm what Jake had just said.
"If you don't want to, just let me go," Leo said
Gabriel was silent and then he pondered what made him feel strange about all this tragedy especially his vision in the dream seemed to have come true. The fortune teller's words were still running through his head. Not only that, Samuel also said the same thing.
"Then what should I do? Is there anyone else with extraordinary abilities?” Gabriel said with a serious look
"There is. He lives in the Elderius area. Maybe you can ask him for help, it's just that it will be a little dangerous," said Mckena who suddenly came over to the three of them who were chatting
"Where have you been?" ask Jake
"There's something I have to take care of. That's why I haven't come for a while," Mckena said in a friendly manner
