Chapter 1 Dejavu

Today the heavy rain made me lie under the blanket. The cold atmosphere pierced my bones so I didn't want to get out of bed. Even though it was already morning. However, it feels like it can't go away. The sound of heavy rain makes me comfortable and this is how my life is full of energy saving. During this life never once involved things that were troublesome because for me it would only be a waste of energy. Now that life is filled with emptiness, more and more I can no longer feel what it means to live, even to breathe feels so tight as if I have asthma all over my lungs, it's really sad how everything is gray.
"It's still early. Not soon," I said
The city of Antherius is where I was born and even now I still breathe in this annoying city. People always recognize me because I look different. My name is Gabriel Alegria, my life is only as a freshman in an art college. All the girls are always looking at me every day and it bothers me. During college there many said I was quite popular and of course that didn't make me happy because they were all fake. That gaze and even behavior were like a mirage in the middle of the desert. Until finally I got out of bed and looked at the window where the sky was dark and it was raining all over the city.
The bell rang and as soon as Gabriel opened the door to his house, there was already a tall man standing in front of the door wearing clothes like a museum worker. He then entered Gabriel's house. The man had black hair and brown eyes that were different from his own. The man then sat down in the living room chair and before long he turned on the television and watched the morning's news. That person is none other than Gabriel's uncle named Thomas Alegria.
"Gabi please make some coffee," Uncle Thomas said in a slightly hoarse tone while watching the news
"Yes. Wait a moment."
"You don't need to add sugar. Okay."
"Yes uncle."
His uncle who suddenly came did not make him feel surprised and just looked normal. Gabriel had been living alone for a long time, so his uncle often came uninvited and made him feel like a friend even if it was just a chat. As long as he makes coffee manually using a coffee maker, he forgets that this week he has to work on the project with his friends. Gabriel's cell phone in his room rang and it turned out that someone was calling him but he didn't pick up the phone.
"This is uncle," Gabriel said as he placed a cup of coffee on the table in the living room
"Thank you. Oh yeah, you didn't go outside?”
"What for?"
"Aren't you bored?"
"No, it just makes me feel better. Going out would just be a waste of energy.”
"You still haven't changed."
"What should it be like? This is me. And what are you doing here again? Did you have a fight with auntie?”
"No. Just happened to want to come here."
"Is that true?"
"Of course. Why are you suddenly interrogating me.”
"If you need anything just say so."
Gabriel then went to his room which was on the top floor and when he saw his cell phone ringing apparently he just realized that he had an appointment with his friends to work on a project. As soon as he remembered that he quickly changed his clothes and then hurried to go see them.
"Uncle I'll go first," said Gabriel who immediately left
"Yes carefully Street."
'Ah damn how could you forget this,' Gabriel said in his heart
The rain had started to subside and he who was running to the bus stop wasn't too wet. Arriving there he immediately boarded the bus and headed to that place. On his way there he saw someone with an unusual appearance sitting in the back seat. He who saw that immediately turned around and then sat on the chair on the left right in front of him. Instantly he felt curious about the person and just looked at him. His cell phone rang again when he saw the notification, it turned out that they sent a message so he could get there faster. Gabriel quickly replied to a message from his friend named Jonathan.
"Very noisy. I told you on the way,” Gabriel muttered
When there was a middle-aged woman who had just climbed up, Gabriel then invited her to sit in his chair and he preferred to stand because it happened to be full. While he was on his way he looked at the window and found that the sky was still cloudy and the clouds were even darker than usual. It wasn't long before Gabriel reached his stop and he quickly headed to where his friends were. It turned out that they had gathered at a cafe located not far from a museum in this city. This cafe is famous among young people they usually often hang out at this place the Macademia cafe. He quickly met them.
"Finally you came too. I thought you wouldn't come," Jonathan said
"What else can we do. If you don't come here you will surely curse me."
“It will be troublesome if you don't come. Who will do the hard part," said Samuel
“You suck.”
The two of them were friends of Gabriel's group. Even though there are only three people, they are enough to work on this project. It didn't take long for the three of them to do their job and it was unexpected that it would take quite a long time. Three hours had passed they were still busy working on it and currently it was still half way through. This project is about a classic art journal in the 18th century which they researched and after spending four hours finally finished well.
"This is crazy. It's quite difficult, isn't it," said Samuel
"It's really hard," Jonathan said
"Don't you find it difficult at all Gab?" said Samuel to Gabriel who at that time he was drinking coffee
"Pretty good."
"After this what are you going to do?" Jonathan asked them both
"How about going to the club?"
"You are crazy?"
“Looks like it's going back to its habitat,” Gabriel replied with a lazy face and looked at the two of them
“You really are an energy-saving human,” said Samuel
"Huh, so tired."
After finishing their task, the three of them separated. Gabriel who was going back to his house turned out to be caught in the rain right in front of an antique shop and then he went inside the shop to wait for the rain to stop. When Gabriel entered the shop, he was greeted warmly by the caretaker who turned out to be the owner. With a friendly smile he also replied. Gabriel who saw the various items on sale in this shop made him feel amazed. His artistic soul emerged and he saw an object that caught his attention. It looks like an antique looking pocket watch with gold color making it attractive. After he paid close attention to how valuable it was and at that moment he continued to look at it then he tried to turn the clock, suddenly he was surprised by the sound of the melody contained in the clock. The melody resembled a song that was played by someone at that moment in his memory and instantly landed him in a room full of red roses. Gabriel who was in the room made him stunned because he saw a very beautiful surroundings with a sea of red roses. He vaguely saw someone smiling at him gently. Slowly her eyes began to see clearly and she was a silver-haired girl with ruby-like eyes. Gabriel who faced the woman then he looked at him and seemed to have met him but he didn't know where. The woman continued to smile with her beautiful face. The woman was wearing a black dress-like outfit that looked elegant and soon Gabriel was awakened by the shopkeeper who called out to him.
"Excuse me sir, do you need anything?" said the shopkeeper to himself
"Sir?"
"Oh sorry I mean. What is your name?"
"Call me Gabriel."
"Yes Gabriel. Is there anything I need help with?”
"There is not any."
"Is that true?"
"Of course. Oh yes, it's raining. Excuse me."
"Eh? You're just going to leave?" said the shopkeeper
Gabriel had left the shop and he was now at the bus stop waiting for the bus to head home. At this time he had to wait for about 8 minutes until the bus finally came and he left to leave. Gabriel was already on the bus and he was sitting listening to music on his cell phone using earphones. When he was playing Gloomy Sunday, suddenly a woman who had just boarded in a hurry screamed, I don't know what made him like that and scared the whole bus as well as Gabriel who was immediately shocked at that moment.
“Aghhhhhhhh,” the woman screamed. instantly made the whole bus glance at him
"What happened?" said one of the bus passengers to the woman with a slightly worried face
"Ah, sorry to surprise you. This is me watching a horror movie."
In an instant it made the whole bus feel betrayed because it wasn't anything serious and earlier their hearts almost burst from the woman's screams. Now everyone who had been feeling tense now they sighed in disappointment and then the bus moved. Gabriel who was listening to music he was also annoyed by what had just happened. That woman with her annoying smile fooled everyone and now the atmosphere inside the bus was the same as the sky view outside. Gabriel then stopped at a stop and he walked towards his house which turned out to be not far away. Currently he is still in a state of energy saving so he did not stop at any place except earlier because it was raining now he was in front of the gate of his house and then entered it. As soon as he opened the door to his house, it was not locked and then he entered and he saw his uncle cooking something in the kitchen. He went straight to the second floor and lay down on the bed.

Creativity that sharpens clarity is genius.” I put this first because it's the most important tip you can take from this list. If you do nothing more than write clearly, you're going to be in the top 10% of all writers. Don't try to sound impressive, just try to be clear.

The writing is actually good, unlike most of the novel in this app it has great grammar, not my type of book since it's a crime genre but i recommend it to those who likes that type of book.
