Before midday, I left the cabin with Mrs Smith. At first, she was adamant about staying.
" I'm going to sit here and wait for my daughter. She went for a run, she should be back soon." She kept on saying whenever I tried to cajole here to leave with me.
Fortunately, she eventually agreed to leave. Considering her current state of health, I decided to drive. I was grateful my mom was hell bent on teaching me and Richardson to drive at age fifteen.
Soon enough, we arrived back at the Smith's.
Jack was the first to run out of the house to embrace his mother. He was surprised when Mrs Smith just pushed him off of her and walked into the house like a zombie.
" Is my mother okay why did she push me away like that?" He asked me with tears in his eyes.
Unsure of what to say, I only carried him up and embraced him for a really long time.
" Good day sir. Is everything alright with Mrs Smith?" The babysitter greeted with her British accent.
" Yeah, just a little stressed. Take the kid in for me will you?" I said, putting Jack in her arms.
" Let's go hunny. Miss Tina made banana frittles. Would you like a try?" She said to Jack, trying to cheer him up.
" I guess." He replied, unhappy.
Watching the duo walk into the house, I quickly took out my phone to place an important phone call.
" Hey baby!!!!" My mom screamed from the other end of the phone.
" Could you come home mom, I need you like right now." I said to her, trying not to sound panicked.
" Oh my God hunny. Is everything okay?"She replied, already in panic mode.
" I'd explain everything to you once you get here." I said to here before hanging up.
Mrs Smith was currently in a state of mental distress. The cops' presence would require her contribution and that would do only more harm to her but at the same time, the cops were still needed.
Geez, I am so confused right now. I hope mom is able to think of something good enough.

" Greetings alpha." Jamal, my personal assistant greeted.
We have always been best friends, but when it comes to our duties, we are as formal as possible.
" Speak." That was my only reaction to his greeting.
" Elder Viveca seeks your presence." He said. From his tone, it was evident he was still bowing.
" I shall be out in a bit." I said, dismissing him as I continued to write on the scrolls.
Few minutes later***
" You seek my presence." I said, walking into the throne room.
Since I hadn't still been crowned, I couldn't occupy the throne, just assume it's duties.
" It's good to see you son." She greeted.
" Firstly, there's nothing good in my life at the moment and secondly, I am not your son."I retorted without sparing her a glance.
" Well, you still haven't changed. I heard about Amigo so, I came here to express my sincere condolences. I know you are angry at the moment. But I also know that you make irrational decisions when angry. But I plead of you to not to be speedy in your judgement. Make proper investigations before doing anything to the human. Remember, we still owe our existence to the humans." She said after a long staring contest between us.
" Are you scared that your son-in-law's pack would have something to do with my brother's death and that I would kill them all, including your daughter if I found out?"I asked her, slowly marching toward her.
" Do as you please when you find out the truth but make sure justice is served accordingly." She said before walking out on me.
" Jamal!"I called my personal assistant once my paternal aunty was out of sight.
" Alpha." He replied bowing.
" Prepare the lead hunters and the nightcrawlers. We shall attack the moon chasers wolf pack by dusk." I ordered him.
I wasn't going to spare anyone if I find anything suspicious in their pack.
They were all going to pay for the sin of one person.

" What?!?" I screamed unbelievably.
Why does my plan keep getting tougher by the minute.
First, those idiots I hired to get the last ingredient failed in their task, next I almost lose my life just to find out that I took such a big risk for a mere human.
And now, now I find out that even the last ingredient would be useless because the alpha of the infinite nightcrawlers wolf pack had a different blood combination.
" He isn't a full lycan. While awaiting your arrival the other day, we took out time to study his gene through his hair and his blood. That was when we found out that aside the royal blood of the lycanthrope family, there was another form of blood in him. It was almost unnoticeable as it layed under the lycan blood. Since we do not know yet what it is, we decided to call your alpha a primordial. Ever since we have studied anything, we haven't come across anything as powerful as this. If he trains enough as an alpha, he is likely to notice this talent and if he eventually allows it overcome his normal lycanthrope blood, our plans would become futile." Nanika, the best of the witches explained.
" Okay but there's a way to stop this right?" I asked, hoping to get a positive reply.
" Yes but,"Nanika said, tilting a little to her right to place emphasis on the 'but'.
" Of course, there's always a clause."I said, throwing my hands in the air.
" Only his mate can help us now." She said, creating more confusion in my head.
" Which of them exactly? Lycanthropes usually have more than one mate, especially the royals." I educated her.
" Anyone of them loyal enough to pledge her faithfulness to us." She said with wickedness in her eyes.
" For now, he has only one mate. I better get to work." I informed them before dashing out of their cottage.
As I ran toward the pack, something caught my fancy.
It wasn't like I hadn't seen it before, it just brought a strange fact to my head.
