Writer's POV
Derrick turned into Kodiac; his wolf.
Kodiac's normal midnight black fur was now midnight black with green stripes.
The exact same mark as the one that Derrick had seen on the witch the other day at the court room could be seen on Kodiac's left leg.
His transformation frightened Khloe so much, that she couldn't even scream.
He walked into the dark of the forest, leaving Derrick's garments behind. Kodiac looked back when it couldn't find Khloe walking beside it.
It growled angrily at her when it found her doing nothing but staring at the shreds of clothes on the wet muddy ground.
Khloe jerked back to reality and immediately followed suit.
They roamed for quite a while before Kodiac spotted a prey.
It looked back at Khloe and growled in a low tone to warn her to keep shut and stay in the same position he had left her.
Seeing that it's message was well understood, it walked away to it's prey without even hiding.
Khloe
The trees around were too tall so, they obstructed me from seeing what the how the alpha was taking down it's prey.
Bored of watching nothing, I decided to take a quick nap. As I lowered myself to the ground where I had planned on napping, an image flashed through my mind.
It was quick but I was quick enough to grab it. It was a mental image of a girl.
She looked my age but with a body figure of a sixteen years old. Her cherry coloured hair waist-long hair was scattered all over her forehead, shoulder and knee. She was crouched on the ground, leaning on her knees without her face buried in-between her knees.
She was about to take her head off of her knees when the image faded away like dust.
" What the hell was that?" I asked myself, getting to my feet in a hurry. I suddenly lost every sleepiness.
I looked around me for any sign of the alpha. I paid attention for any of his growling or howling but heard nothing.
Feeling unsafe, I decided to change my location.
I walked through the forest, unsure of where was safe enough for me to stay. I kept on walking and walking deeper into the forest until I found an isolated tree. I never knew trees could isolate themselves too.
I walked to it. The closer I was to the tree, the more of it's view I could get.
I noticed that the atmosphere around the isolated tree was foggy and the sky above it was darker than the night itself.
The tree was without leaves nor fruits. Just branches that stuck out in a frightening manner.
" Why do you look so familiar?" I asked the tree. I felt like I had seen it somewhere before.
" Oh my goodness!!" I screamed upon realizing that this was the same tree from my illusion during my presentation.
The girl, she was also in my illusion. Oh no, this is not good.
Everytime I remember whatever happened in the illusion, something bad always happen.
I remembered and then, I murdered someone. Oh no does that mean a werewolf would soon jump out of nowhere and attack me?
I better run. The alpha would return soon and I do not know what he would do with me when he finds me absent.
I was about to run out of the foggy atmosphere of the trree when I felt something grab my arm.
Derrick
I had no reason for stepping out actually. I only wanted to have an excuse to punish the human girl.
She definitely would not last long in such a place so, she is likely to go against my rules.
" Yes!" I said in Kodiac's head.
I knew she was going to go against my rules. She is human, humans are never obedient.
There could be no perfect time to punish someone.
Michael
I couldn't sleep so I decided to continue my journey.
I had only walked some distance from the place that I had pitched my tent when I sited a weird looking tree.
Amidst all of the trees in the forest, it stood out but in a weird way.
I didn't care about anything else but Khloe right now but I still needed to give the cops proof of what I had encountered.
I stood a reasonable distance away from the tree to take shots of it with my camera but it was just too dark.
Weirdly, everything around the tree spoke darkness, even the fog that gathered only around the tree.
I decided to take a closer shot. When I moved forward, I heard foot steps. So, I stopped to listen and watch.
I was expecting to see something beast looking but instead, I saw a petite figure walk toward the tree. I took a closer look only to see that face that I can never in my entire life of living, forget.
" Khloe!" I whispered-yelled to myself excitedly. I couldn't believe I had found her.
I was still jubilating when I sited her leaving.
Quickly, I packed my bag and went after her.
Jude
I was examining the scattered objects in the cabin when something attracted me.
It was a box but with something glowing from the inside. Without touching it, I called the rest of the crew.
" Guys y'all need to see this ASAP." I said to them.
They all gathered around me before I brought the box to the centre of the room.
We tried opening the box but mysteriously, we couldn't.
" How the fuck can we not open a simple box?" Matthew, one of the tech guys yelled out of frustration.
" You might want to keep your voice down Matth. We still have no idea of the creatures out there." Malcolm, the Head of the Crew advised.
" Get your tech up and running, we are opening the god-damned box." Malcolm instructed Matthew before walking away to make a call.
I wanted to inform him of the lack of service in the woods but I decided to let him figure that out himself.
Khloe
" Ah!" I almost screamed before a hand wrapped itself around my face, blocking my mouth.
" Hey sssh. It's okay Khlo. It's me Michael don't scream. It's fine." Oh my goodness it was Michael.
It took me quite a while before I could calm down. Immediately I did, I jumped on him and engulfed him in a hug in my tiny arms compared to his.
" Oh my goodness Michael. I missed you so much." I cried into his shoulder.
" It's fine Khlo. I'm here now right?" He consoled me, stroking my hair.
" How are we gonna make it in time for good seats at the cinema if you keep doing this?" He joked, causing me to chuckle.
"Once Michael, always Michael. Huhn?" I said, crying and laughing at the same time.
He put me on his back in order to make the journey faster. He must have seen how tired I looked to have made such a move.
" Let's go shall we?" He asked looking at me then smiling.
" No you shall not!" We heard a thunderous voice from behind us.
