The true mastermind of this cinema is me. I can't wait and I want to surprise Fire.
This cinema is owned by a friend who Nicole knows and also the one who operates it and since she is rich and she wants to help, she begged the manager of this mall and the good thing is that the manager agreed that we would do something inside here.
"Do what you have to do," I whispered to Brad and he nodded and started his work.
"Ahh, just wait! I'll just go to the comfort room first, please update me on what happens next," he said and left.
I looked at Belle and winked at her. She suddenly stood up, "Wait a minute. I ran out of popcorn so I'll just buy a new one," she said and was about to leave when Fire stopped her.
"No, let's share. I have some more in here," she said, but Belle frowned and looked disgusted.
"Eww, I don't want salty popcorn. Cheese popcorn is my favorite," she left for good, but I saw a look of surprise on Fire's face.
"That's weird. The popcorns that I just bought earlier are the same."
"Leave her alone. You know, she will just follow Brad somewhere."
She laughed, "Oh yeah. Oh my gosh, that two kept on arguing but I know they'll catch up."
We just kept watching and I just waited for them to do their job.
After a few minutes, the screen suddenly went out, along with the lights.
"Oh, there's a blackout?" Fire asked, still eating her popcorn.
People inside the mall are complaining about why everything is off. Others thought that it has power interruption.
Soon, the lights came back on and suddenly a video presentation of mine appeared on the big screen.
Fire was surprised when she saw that and looked at me with a mixture of surprise, "Hey, what is the meaning of this? Why are you on the screen?"
"Just watch it."
"Good evening to all of you! I am sorry and I have to do this. It's just fast, only about ten minutes," said Pierce Harret in the video. "There! First of all, I'm Pierce Harret. I study at Agusan High and Senior High grade twelve students. I am a basketball player varsity of Eagles Agusan High. I just want to let you know that I am here with you tonight."
When the video said that, they seemed to be looking for me and someone shouted, "HE IS HERE!" I stood up and waved for everyone to see.
"There, you've seen me. And have you seen the girl next to me? She's Sapphire King and I love her so much!"
The people inside the cinema cheered because of the excitement.
"It all started when I became broken-hearted and she was our new neighbor. We had dinner with my family and her family and we became friends. I know, it's hard to believe that the girl I am with now is very much in love even though we just met, and especially, I'm still recovering from a heartbreak. But, it's not forbidden to love even if you've just recovered from a heartbreak, right?" many agreed and others did not because they say nothing lasts forever.
"Oh, they agreed. That's why Miss Sapphire King, my Fire," the people inside the cinema cheered again, "I know things have accelerated but what can you do about it? You came inside my broken heart and fixed it. We both know that we are from the most painful thing that has happened in our lives and I know and God knows how I feel. I just want to let you and everyone know how much I love you and how happy I am to meet you."
Brad and Belle approached us and gave each other a microphone with a mini-speaker.
I made her stand up and I could see that she was crying, "I'm not rushing you, either. I just want you to know that I love you and I know it's hard to believe or I know it will take time for you to love me too, but that's okay that's all. I can wait because you're worth the wait. I just really want to court you and show you that —"
"You're still courting me when I can agree with you as my boyfriend."
"Woah, are you serious? It's okay with me that —" I stopped when she suddenly kissed me in front of many people.
She broke the kiss and she looks into my eyes, full of love, "I love you, Pierce Harret."
I smiled and I replied, "I love you too, my Fire."
SAPPHIRE
Pierce drove me home at quarter to ten in the evening and as he parked his car, I looked at him, "Thank you very much for this evening, Pierce. I must admit that I am indeed happy and I was really touched by what you said and did earlier. You're a man full of surprises, after all."
"Ah, that was nothing. As I said, I'll do everything for you, Fire," he replied.
"I just can't believe it. I mean, that was breathtaking! And I've never experienced being treated that way. That's why I fell in love with you."
"And I love you too," he slowly bowed, and the next thing I knew we were only one inch apart and when I closed my eyes that were when our lips met.
I think it lasted for thirty seconds and we parted, "That was so sweet. Thanks," he said and chuckled
"You're so cute, Pierce. Alright, I must leave and go inside. You too, you go straight home. It's already ten PM," I said and looked at the clock in his car and back to his, "Good night."
I quickly got off his car and he even followed me, "Good night. I love you," he said and I can feel my face burning up and I have been smiling. I have never smiled like this before.
"I love you too. All right, you go home," I said and he even winked at me before he got into his car and leave.
I turned around and entered the gate. When I turned the door and opened it, I was shocked to see my dad sitting in our living room, "Oh, hey Dad! Why are you still awake? Where is Cooper?"
"Hey. He is already sleeping and I just waited for you. It's really good that your mom is already asleep or else it might be World War III if she sees what I saw outside."
My eyes widened and I shut my eyes. It turns out that I didn't close the car window earlier in Pierce's car and probably, dad saw us kissing each other.
"Dad, I'm sorry," I said, "I really can't stop my feelings. I love him so much and he made a surprise for me and I realized that he is worth the man to keep so I answered him right away even though --"
He stopped and hugged me, "Darling, you can't dictate how you feel. Just remember if you need to say something about Cooper, do it. If he loves you, he will accept Cooper in his life."
"But, I'm still afraid because maybe because of Cooper, I'll lose him. Maybe he doesn't want to accept Cooper. I mean, maybe I should tell him about my son."
"I promise you that he will accept Cooper and he also loves my grandson very much."
I nodded, "Thank you, dad. You're the best!"
"Alright, go to sleep and he might be waking up and look for you," dad said and spoke again, "By the way, before I forget I have something to say. Your mom and I won't be here tomorrow, so take care of your son, alright? We're going to Cabadbaran City tomorrow but we will also go home soon at night."
"Alright, that's cool. Have a safe trip, you both. Good night!" I went to my room and saw that Shan was sleeping so I took a half-bath before going to bed.
1 MONTH LATER
I woke up because of the loud ringtone on my cell phone and just in time Cooper also woke up who was in his crib.
I first took Cooper from his crib and I also took my phone and it was only Pierce who called.
"Good morning, baby," I heard Pierce's husky voice that looked like he just woke up.
I laughed out of excitement, "Yeah, good morning too. What are we doing today?"
"Are you sleeping well? Perhaps, you did because I can tell that you've been dreaming about me."
"I slept well because I am so happy last night and enjoyed it so I was tired when I got home," I said and he laughed on the other line.
"You look really beautiful together with your black pajamas," my eyes widened when he said that. I looked at what I was wearing and it was indeed black pajamas.
How did he know that?
"Hey! How did you know I was wearing black? Where are you?" I asked but I didn't leave my seat.
"Look out the window," I looked out the window and I saw the other side and I saw him there. He is still topless and only in boxers.
Okay, my boyfriend is so hot! "Hey, what are you thinking about and you're stunned? You're distracted by my awesome body."
"No! Of course not! It's been a month and I didn't know that window was your room," I said and I let Cooper, who's in my hands face him, "Look, Cooper! It's Pierce. Say hi," and I held his tiny arms and waved at him.
"Aww, Baby Cooper is so cute! Oh, before I forget, one of our classmates is having a party tonight at Moff's. If you like, we'll go and hang out."
I was excited but I remembered that Mom and Dad are on a trip to Surigao again, so I'm sure I can't go because my son needs me. "Too bad. I wish I could go and be with you later, but I can't go. I'm busy right now."
He frowned, "Why not?"
"Mom and Dad are on a trip again. So, now, I need to take care of Cooper," I said.
"Is that so? What if you hire a nanny or let him stay here for the meantime?"
"Are you crazy? My baby brother is just three months old, so it's not possible."
"You can leave him here at home. My mom is stuck here at home and I am sure that Priscilla will be even happier about that."
Yeah, but I can't just leave my child to someone else, "I'm sorry, Pierce. I can't do that," I said and I saw that he nodded, but you could tell he was disappointed.
"Alright, then. I'll see you this Monday, okay?"
"But, we can meet later at the cafe," when I said that, his smile widened.
"Oh. Okay! How about let's meet at three in the afternoon? I'll pick up Priscilla later from our grandparents."
"Okay, that's fine. See you later. Bye, I love you."
"I love you too," he ended the call and I also waved goodbye as I went out of my room.
PIERCE
I drove my car with my sister, Priscilla. She's now one and a half years old and she can talk. She is like a genius because she acts like a mature young girl.
She's still two years old but she's very mischievous and she's so smart. She can even write her whole name.
While driving, she looked at me and asked, "Pierce, where are we going?"
"We are going to Theo's place," I replied and she looked confused.
"Where is that?"
"Do you remember the store with lots of food and milk tea?" I saw her eyes sparkle and she nodded.
She loved that place and she always had free food there.
"Okay, brother! Is Sapphire coming with us?"
I nodded, "Yeah, maybe she's already there with Baby Cooper."
"Yey! Go ahead, Pierce! Drive faster, don't be slow-poke!"
See? She is indeed so mature to speak.
