It was the first day of the weekend today. I stayed home even though something happened last night. I relaxed on my sofa downstairs while watching a tv show. It was a really boring day, considering that I was alone in this damn mansion. There's no one to keep me company. I bought a new phone but I don't have social medias so it just as boring as well.
Claudine was terrified at my place so I know if I'll call her and invite her to come over, she'll just say no. I am not in the mood to go outside either. It's really hot outside and if I'll go out, I know for sure that my head will hurt.
I was focused on the tv, when suddenly, my phone rings. I look at my phone to see who is calling. It was an unknown number. I answered it because I thought it was my aunt's new number, but when I answered it, the other line was quiet.
"Hello? Is anyone there?", I asked. There's no respond, and it started to get creepy. I am starting to get nervous and scared. I kept asking if someone was in the other line. And every time I asks, I don't get any respond. I turned it off thinking maybe it was just a prank call to scare people.
I focused on the television again after I hang up. But minutes later, my phone rings again. It was the same number who called me a while ago.
"Hello?", I said. This time I started to get annoyed. My eyebrows meet as I heard no noise on the other line. I was about to turn it off when out of nowhere, the person on the other line started screaming. It was a creepy scream. I dropped my phone and it's screen shattered. I was so scared and I don't know what to do. I stood up from the couch where I was sitting, and I run towards the door. I didn't get the chance to grab anything with me. I went outside, and grab a taxi. Thankfully, I got cash in my pocket for some reason.
I don't know where I should go, so I just told the driver to drop me at the park. When I got there, I sat down on some benches. I was shivering, so I calm myself first. I don't know if this place would help me relax my mind, but I hope it will.
Tears dripping from my eyes down to my cheeks. I am really terrified but I have no one to help me calm down but myself. I can't tell anyone about what happened because I don't think my aunt would believe me, and Claudine would just yell at me if I'll tell her everything.
"What do it have to be me? Why do it have to be the mansion? There are plenty of places out there, why does it have to be it? Why am I so unlucky?", I questioned myself.
I just waited for the sun to set before I went home. I don't have extra cash with me for a hotel, that leave me no choice but to go home and endure crazy things that'll happen. I already spend my cash on the cab this morning so I walked home, it wasn't that far anyway, it'll only took 30 minutes if I'll walk there.
The porch was dark as well as the inside of the mansion. I took a deep breath before I went inside. The door was clacking while I opened it. I was really startled because it hasn't made that sound ever since I moved in, and I know something strange will happen again and I prepared myself when something ever happen.
But when I was already in the mansion, it was a miracle because nothing happened. So I went to the kitchen, make something to eat because I'm really starving. I cook anything that is available on my fridge, and unfortunately, I only have eggs. I made a sunny side up and get some rice from the rice cooker and I also took some water on my fridge. I just brought my dinner to my room because I don't want to stay downstairs. I put my food at my table and went to the bathroom to clean myself, and then changed my clothes into a clean one. After that, I took my food at the table, sat on my bed and was about to took out my phone from my pocket. I hurrily ate my dinner and brushed my teeth after eating.
I went to sleep early because I was really tired and I don't have anything to do too. My phone's boring and I'm pretty much scared to go downstairs and watch my favorite show. I'd rather miss it that seeing ghosts.
I was awoken by a crying sound. I look around and saw no one. I saw my digital clock that I bought yesterday after school together with my phone. It shows that its 3 o'clock in the morning. I got up from my bed when the cying sound was still going on. I look around from my dark room, and in the corner of my room, I saw a little girl curled up. She puts her face on her knee as she cries. I just stared at her, and even though it was really dark, I was really surprise because I can see her clearly and I can see what her position was.
I kept staring at her, and after a while she suddenly look up and look at me in the eyes. I realized that it was one of the twins that once showed up, the short-haired one. The fact that I know that she is a ghost and seeing her eyes really scares me. She suddenly stood up and run outside. I don't know what's gotten into me, but I followed her. She was running slowly and I know that on purpose so I could keep up.
I was wondering where her twin is, I haven't seen her anywhere. I don't know where she'll take me but I kept following her. She stopped infront of the basement door and then disappear in just a blink. The basement door slowly opened and I saw how dark it was inside. I don't want to get inside and get downstairs, so I just turned around to go back to my bedroom. When I turned around, I saw the other twin, the long haired one, in front of me after I turned around. My eyes widened due to fright. She suddenly pushed me and was unprepared, causing me to fall down to the basement. I collapsed due to the fall.
