The sight of her baby, bleeding profusely, sent a wave of terror crashing over Ariel. Her heart pounded in her chest, a frantic drumbeat against her ribs. The doctor was nowhere to be seen. She rushed to the bed, scooping her child into her arms, her own body trembling with the shock of it all.
Her breath also became very heavy and she couldn't quite understand what was going on! was the doctor determined to kill her baby or what? Because she just can't understand, the baby's stomach was cut deep open with blade and then there is no doctor in the room with her, he ran away or what? But why...? why would he do such a thing...?
"Mother! Mother! Doctor!" 
"Mother where is the doctor!!! where are... where is him!!!" Ariel's voice cracked with panic she didn't even know who exactly she should call on, her eyes darting wildly around the room. She couldn't tell who to call for help, her mother or the doctor, who seemed to have vanished. A terrible fear gripped her.
The baby, lying still and pale, wasn't moving. The wounds were deep, and the silence was deafening her blood was flowing down to the floor. Where was the doctor? Why wasn't the baby crying? She was supposed to be crying, but there was only an unsettling stillness. She could be dead.
"Mother!!!" Ariel screamed again, her voice raw with terror. She was shaking, her breath coming in ragged gasps.
Her mother, distracted by Damian's issue, took a moment to react. Then, with a rush of adrenaline, she burst into the room.
"Holy shit... what happened to her?" she gasped, her eyes wide with horror.
"I don't know! I just came in and saw her like this! The doctor Ryda is gone! I do not know what he had done to my kid" She cried bitterly.
"Call an ambulance! I think she's dead, she's not breathing!" Ariel cried, tears streaming down her face.
Without hesitation, Oliveira grabbed her phone and dialed for help. The ambulance arrived quickly, and they rushed the baby to the hospital.
A doctor met them at the door, and they immediately began to work on the baby.
"I think she's dead! I think she's dead!! My baby!! doctor please talk to me, is she dead?" Ariel screams continuously expecting the doctor to just give her results at the mere looking at the baby, her voice cracking with despair. She looked at the doctor, his face etched with horror as he examined the deep wound on the baby's tiny stomach.
A million questions swirled in his mind. What could have happened to such a small child? How could she have sustained such a terrible injury? And what sort of carelessness could have led to this or is it something really baffling? Well as for now, it was not the time for questions. Saving the baby was the only priority first.
"Come on! Give me the baby!" the doctor barked, his voice urgent. He took the baby from Ariel's trembling arms and quickly checked for signs of life.
"Is she alive? She's dead, right...?" Ariel whispered, her voice barely audible as she was shaking so really hard. She was sweating, her body trembling uncontrollably. She felt like she was losing her mind. This was the only thing that mattered to her on Earth now, the only thing she loved. She couldn't bear the thought of losing her baby. She's the only thing she have left, she have lost everything she have and losing her baby too? then she definitely have no reason to keep on living.
"You have to wait here, madam. I need to attend to your baby then I will give you feedback about her being alive or... something else, but I should admit her first," the doctor said, his voice firm. He turned to hurry into the ward, but Ariel followed him, her fear pushing her forward.
"I said wait here!" the doctor shouted, turning back to face her.
"She's my child! I'm not leaving her behind!" Ariel screamed, her voice echoing through the hospital, drawing the attention of everyone around them including the workers as well.
"Do you want your child to live? Then stay here! Once I'm done, I'll let you know when everything is okay!" the doctor said, his voice firm. Oliveira noticed the tension rising between Ariel and the doctor. Every second that passed felt like an eternity, and she knew that time was of the essence. The child is dying if not already dead! She needs immediate medical attention and not drama.
"Don't worry, doctor. You can go attend to the baby, and please get back to us as soon as possible!" Oliveira said, gently holding Ariel, who was struggling against her grip. She was seriously attempting to follow the doctor inside and watch him while treating her, but that's because she no longer trust anyone with what just happened, the doctor could go inside and kill her finally, that's her fears.
"No! I'm not going to leave my baby behind! I mean it!" Ariel yelled, trying to break free from her mother's hold. She was desperate to follow the doctor, but Oliveira held her back.
"Ariel! Yes, you can't leave her behind, but do you want to lose her completely? Do you want to have her dead? If not, then you need to stay here and let the doctor do his work! You're losing your mind, please calm down!" Oliveira pleaded, her own eyes welling up with tears. She shook her head, scattering her hair, drawing even more attention from the people around them.
"Of course, I'm not okay! Who would be okay in my situation? I'm just so frustrated right now! Why is all this happening to me? what am I saying" Ariel yelled.
"It's all because of you mother.. .! You should go to hell and get away from me!" Ariel screamed, collapsing onto the nearest chair, burying her head in her hands. She was breathing heavily, her body wracked with sobs.
Oliveira knew it was best to let Ariel be. Trying to calm her down would only make things worse. She understood Ariel's pain, and she could only offer silent support.
Ariel was lost in a whirlwind of emotions. She couldn't understand what had happened, why the doctor had acted the way he did, or why she felt so helpless now! why is all this happening to her now? was it all really planned against her or what? It's disheartening for real, but she prays and hope get baby survives, that's what matters right now.
