CILIA'S POV
   "Hey! Lia! Get that camera outta my face. I haven't washed yet!" Tania shouted.
I laughed but still continued videoing. She's doing her 'every' morning exercise.
   Presently, she's doing the candle pose Yoga exercise. If she doesn't do her exercise a day she'll probably go insane.
   Speaking of insane, who wakes up and does life videos every weekend after morning prayers? I'm crazy right? I know...
   I laughed at Tania's frowning face before plodding off to the kitchen to meet Elle.
   "Uhmm...something scents delicious," I said sniffing in air in other to grasp the tantalizing aroma I was perceiving.
   I walked into the kitchen to find Elle humming along to whatever song it was that's booming from her headphone as she cooked. She's even dancing weirdly too.
I was still videoing all along.
   "Hey people, that's Diva over there and she's preparing..."
What did she call it again?
I bit my lip thoughtfully.
   "Ah yes, she's preparing Nigerian Jollof rice for lunch. This will actually be my first time eating it...." I zoomed the lens so it could properly take in the steaming open pot of rice.
She's almost done cooking. 
Elle doesn't know I'm here.
   She's so preoccupied with the music, dancing and cooking that she didn't even notice someone come in.
I dropped the video camera at a very comfortable angle on the kitchen island so it could take in all within the kitchen including myself. I walked to the refrigerator, opened it and brought out an ice cream can, opened it and began to devour.
   "Yo people, remember anywhere there's Saline, there's always an ice cream." I said in between mouthfuls.
Elle's still unaware.
I tapped her from behind drawing her attention. She pushed the tray of cabbage she'd just finished slicing away before looking at me.
She's weird!
   If it were me or Tania we would have jumped in shock but her? There's never any moment where you can scare her at unawares. She's always ready for whatever that's to happen. I admire and love her a lot.
   Amongst us three, she's the most strong-willed, bold in character and never shy only reserved amidst new people. Which is absolutely normal.
Me? Haha I'm the one who easily gets scared and I was once very shy. But Elle thought me and made me overcome it.
I smiled at her when she looked at me. She removed her headphone and tossed it somewhere.
   "Lia you're taking ice cream again. Didn't I saw you gulped down a can before going to bed yester-night?" She said.
It was more of a matter-of-fact than a question.
  She sighed and leaned on the counter.
I grinned sillily in response and shoved another spoon into my mouth. She turned around to check her food but stopped when she saw the video camera.
   "Here we go again," She muttered looking at me. I smiled innocently.
She rolled her eyes with a smile and walked a bit closer to the camera.
   "Hey lovelies," She began waving a hand "thanks for the love once again. You guys are the best. Do have a wonderful weekend. Wait! Come have a taste of this delicacy I'm preparing. Don't worry we'll save some for ya." She added with a wink.
Tania walked in wiping sweats...or is it water? Off her face with a small towel. She joined Elle Immediately.
   "Hello fans, friends and family, thanks for the love again. Rosy loves you big..." I dropped my now empty can and joined them. I jumped in between them and wrapped my arms around them.
   "Yes sweethearts. I'm done taking my ice cream. Sorry I didn't invite you guys. But...I don't share my ice cream." I winked.
My friends and I laughed shortly at that.
   "Yeah we love you guys," I said in a singsong.
I removed my arms from around my friends and began break dancing crazily. Elle and Tania laughed but soon joined me in the crazy dancing with no music.
We were laughing and doing our thing crazily, when Elle suddenly shouted.
   "Jeez! My food..." She screamed and ran off.
Tania and I stopped dancing as we were bubbling with laughter.
   "Okay bye guys, we love you." I said smilingly as I leaned an arm on Tania's shoulder.
   "Yessss DSD loves you." She added with a smile.
At the other end of the kitchen Elle made a little love sign with her hands before turning back to what she's doing.
I laughed and stopped the video.
Fridays are always fun for us....
DANIELLE'S POV
LUNCH TIME:
I smiled as my friends stared at their plates of Jollof rice sceptically. We were sitting in our little dinning section in the room.
   My darling mom taught me how to prepare it before I left home, since she's kinda Nigerian. I've ate it several times and it was so delicious that I made her teach me how to make it. Although we grew up together, this was actually the first time the girls will be eating it since they weren't opportune to taste mother's. I'm glad mine would be their first.
   "Try it guys, trust me! You are gonna love it." I urge, using a chopstick to shove cabbage into my mouth.
   Lia needed no further invitation, she picked up her cutlery and started with the beef. She chopped off a piece and shoved it into her mouth.
   "Mmhh," she moaned at the taste of it.
Immediately, she added a spoonful of Jollof rice into her mouth and chewed.
   I was waiting for them to compliment my cooking. I smiled when she said.
   "Super tasty, Lovely yummy... ohh," she gushed closing her eyes as she chewed dreamingly, savouring the taste.
I chuckled when Tania also started eating.
   "Wow, nice." she hummed and continued eating.
   "Thanks guys," I smiled and drank from my smoothie.
We ate silently the rest of the moment until we were done.
   "I think I need more," Cilia said standing up and taking her empty plate.
   "Same here. Lia can you get some more for me?"Tania asked sweetly.
   "Okay bumblebee." Lia picked up Tania's plate.
   "Seriously bumblebee Lia?" Tania frowned.
I laughed.
   "You know she's crazy." I said in a whisper.
   "I heard that." Lia who was walking off already said in a singsong.
I chuckled.
   "Do you need more rice Elle?" She asked while walking away.
   "No, I'm Okay." I replied.
   "Lia get some more smoothie will ya?" Tania shouted after her. She mumbled something incoherent.
   "So what are you gonna do about the soulmate thing?" Tania suddenly asked as she fiddled with her spoon.
   "Ahh...Em...I haven't really thought about it," I stuttered.
I didn't see that coming...
   You might be wondering on how I got certain that Dan was my soulmate.
The thing is this: when I was little age 13 to be precise, I watched other girls my age and more spent their teenage years dating and getting heartbroken, few got pregnant and some were successful and Happy in it(most of those that ended up with their first love that's).
    I didn't want to date in my teenage age, didn't wanna get broken since I'm so fragile emotionally. Didn't wanna date more than one person, although many wanted a chance with me. I was waiting for the right one, my real soulmate. So I waited patiently not like I never had crushes, I did but didn't let them get to my head, knowing it was mere infatuation.
   I kept my self and asked God for a sign. A really strong sign that I'm gonna feel when I meet him. Yeah, I'm a strong believer in Christianity.
   The sign I asked for, was the severe beating of my heart when I'm old enough and eventually set my eyes on him physically. I also asked for a real chemistry to flow and be noticeable among us when we meet. Also asked God to bless me with the kinda relationship my parents have. Mom told me how they met. It was heavenly.
   This fired up my believe and faith that I would meet my soulmate one day with all signs following.
Didn't know it would come through. My friends know about it, there isn't anything I hide from them.
   Even though Daniel and I exchanged harsh words and all, I could feel the connection flowing between us, one that seems to ring a bell and I Know he did too.
When I first saw Daniel's photo on Cilia's phone, I didn't feel any sort of connection to him. It was only yesterday and my request was granted with all the signs, my palpitating heartbeat, the strange connection and there was something else I felt when I looked at him.
   I felt familiarity, like we've met before. But I had quickly shrugged it off as mere imagination. But something within me kept saying otherwise.
   "Back to Earth to Elle,"
A slight hit on my arm jolted me back to reality. Tania stared intently at me, a sly suggestive smile playing on her lips.
   "I'm sorry I went off a bit, but I'm very attentive now."
   "You were thinking about my question, I know." She smiled.
   "Now tell me, did your heart beat so fast when you saw him?" She asked grinningly though knowing the answer, widening her deep blue eyes interestedly.
I chuckled.
   "Tania you already know the answer. So why ask me again?" I said my cheeks were almost hitting up.
I picked up my smoothie and sipped a little from it.
   "Still wanna hear you say it," she looked at me expectantly with a babyish irresistible smile. She looks so cute.
   "Yeah, It did. Happy now?" I said blushingly.
   "Yesss!" She squealed happily, fist thumping the air.
    "And what are they talking about so excitedly without me?" Lia walked in, tray of food and a jug of smoothie in hand.
She dropped the tray on the table, and sank into her seat.
   She looked at me then at Tania, knowing she's gonna talk. Tania smiled and whispered in her ear.
Immediately, she jumped up from her seat almost spilling everything on the table, Tania was quick to stop them from tumbling over.
   "Whoaaahh! Yes!" She squealed with much enthusiasm I had to wonder why they were so excited about it.
You finally met the one behind your decisions of not dating dummy....
Your soulmate. Seriously do you know what that means... My subconscious scorned.
That's true. But he's arrogant. I argued.
You can't judge him since you aren't completely innocent!
Huh?
Who bumps into anyone and rudely walks off after muttering an apology, without stopping or even looking at the victim?
But I was in a hurry and I did apologise.... I argued.
You weren't when you were exchanging words with him... My subconscious stated the obvious.
Why are you always right? I huffed.
Idiot. I'm your subconscious... She hissed.
    I communicate with my inner self a lot. You think it's weird? I think it's marvellous. Helps a great deal in making right decisions.
Now back to present:
   Lia was hugging me so tightly that I was almost breathless.
She's so happy. They both were, couldn't ask for any better friends.
   They are always so supportive of me all times, sometimes they are my sisters, many times my psycho friends, other times my best friends and sometimes they even play my Mom's role.
   I don't know what I did to deserve great friends as them. I can't love them any less.
Soon we were all settled down as they returned to eating.
   "Now for starters, I will be introducing you to several ways of winning the school's sweetheart and idol, Daniel Roberts. AKA King of Girls," I raised a raised a brow as I stared amusedly at Lia.
   "You don't Know? Oh Common, that's the latest nickname the girls have given him." She continued.
Tania ate quietly, she was yet to start hers. I chuckled.
   "Honestly by the time you follow all the rules I'm gonna be teaching you, Daniel Roberts the great would be kissing your feet." I burst into a fit of laughter.
She furrowed her brows confusedly. Then suddenly smirked.
    "You don't think it's possible? Don't worry by the time you see him falling head over heels in love with you, then you can thank me later." She added with so much certainty.
I stared at my crazy friend amusedly. She picked up her glass and drank wholeheartedly from it.
Tania dropped her cutlery and chuckled.
   "Well I'm gonna be in charge of your make up, hair and dressing... No, Lia can take care of the dressing. We've gotta go shop..."
   "Seriously guys? Tell me we aren't gonna be doing this?" I interjected looking from one to the other.
Lia dropped her glass.
   "Girlie we are definitely doing this, you had better get ready because coming tomorrow, Operation look hot for my soulmate would begin." She said seriously.
Now where did that weird name come from again?
   "Yes babe. You've gotta look  superb for Mr Right!" Tania and Cilia high-fived.
Ohh God!
Told you guys they wouldn't let me hear the end of it. See what I mean?
   Now, do they realize that this guy haven't asked me out yet?! Or am I the only one thinking about it.....
They were seriously planning about this whole looking good for my soulmate thing.
Tell me, where did I get them from again?
