DANIELLE'S POV
I pounded furiously on our dorm room door, waiting for either Nia or Lia to answer. They weren't answering.
Oh, soundproof...
In my anger and haste I had forgotten we soundproofed our apartment to avoid noise and disturbances from some of our noisy and loud neighbors. I huffed angrily and rang the doorbell.
How dare Daniel Roberts walk out rudely on me? Why was he restraining himself from conversing with me? Why did he even have to be my soulmate? Why does he have to be so cold? 
And so many whys...
Just when I thought something nice was going to work out between us instead of our usual eye battle, he walked out on me without another stare and without another word. How dare he! I rang the bell furiously again.
Why aren't this girls answering? I'm surely gonna make them kiss their ass when I finally get in.
   My mind went back to when Daniel folded his lips and walked to me, that was when I realized the guy was dimpled. Cute deep dimples at either side of his cheeks. Seems they don't appear when he talks but they must appear when he smiles or fold his pink lips. Does he even smile? I've never seen his smile. Damn! How much I love and appreciate dimples. They make the bearers look so charming.
   When Dan was walking towards me, my heartbeat had increased into an unsteady rhythm and my heart was pounding seriously, my mind anticipating what he was gonna do. But then, he stopped and walked away without another word. Who does that?
You did that...Subconscious again. You walked out on him too...
But I at least said a word, he didn't. I argued.
Whatever....
Was he trying to pay me back for rudely walking out on him before? No...No it can't be! This feels more like a restriction on his part.
But why was Dan holding back from me? Or is he gay? Please God don't let him be gay. Now that I think of it, I've never seen him with a girl. Not even at a close distance.
Dummy, how many times have you seen him? Only twice and you are concluding.... Subconscious again.
A girl walked out of the room opposite, she waved when she saw me, I waved back.
I swear Saline and Rosy, don't make me roast you to beef...
I ranged the bell again while biting my lips furiously, the poor lips will soon bleed. Daniel why does this feel like rejection? I gripped tightly on the leather bag in my left hand.
   I already took Alex home, during the ride she kept looking and smiling curiously at me. And I smiled back at her all through to avoid her questioning my anger. I didn't let it show until I was out of their little home and driving back to Campus. Her aunt agreed to bring her again on Saturday. I want to introduce her to the rest of my dance crew. Maybe, just maybe she is likely to participate in our next release. She's a great dancer, I won't let that lovely talent go to waste. Her aunt was so happy for the stuffs I bought her and she thanked me endlessly.
Now back to more serious issues...
   "Cilia and Tania, you guys better open this door. I'm in no mood for pranks." I yelled.
Well, that was hopeless. Soundproofed remember...
Who said the door was locked... Subconscious suggested.
Could it be...
   I hastily turned the knob and it opened effortlessly. So I've been here fooling myself when the door was open all this while...
But what about the girls, why weren't they answering? Are they sleeping? I stepped in and closed the door behind.
Immediately I entered, loud blasting music filled my ears nearly blocking them. I looked around and there Lia sat, with legs crossed on the couch. Her laptop in front of her as she laughed heartily. I frowned and walked over while removing my jacket and hat.
What's with her?
I tapped her sharply making her jump in fright. I rolled my eyes at that, she wasn't expecting it.
   "Lia I've been ringing the doorbell for over fifteen minutes, why didn't you answer?" I scolded.
Well the answer is obvious isn't it?
She gave me an apologetic look.
  
   "I'm sorry Elle, I was so engrossed watching the video of Jay's performance at the music hall and laughing at Lucia's embarrassment that I didn't hear the bell. I'm so sorry." She apologized.
   "It's okay. I didn't realize earlier that the door was open. Where's Nia?" I asked pulling off my boots and dropping them elsewhere.
   "She's in the bathroom."
   "Did you say Jay's performance at the music hall and Lucia's embarrassment?" I asked interestedly as I sank closer to her dropping my bags.
This concerns Lucia so it's bound to be interesting.
   "Yes, Jay and his friends surprised the students today when they walked into the music hall and took over, with Jay singing or should I say rapping his latest song and his friends backing up with the musical instruments although Daniel wasn't there," My stomach churned at the mention of his name.
I urged her to continue.
   "When they were done performing, Queen Bee and her friends walked up the stage only to receive the biggest embarrassment of times, Jay and his friends walked out on her." Lia narrated as she laughed. I couldn't help but laugh too. It was really hilarious.
   "Seriously?" I laughed.
   "Yes see for yourself. I honestly wish I was there. Jay's lyrics are mind-blowing as usual and Lucia, I wish I was there to really laugh at her stupidity." She rewind the video to the beginning.
   We watched quietly for a while, Lia blushing deeply like she was the one he was singing for. She's always have this unexplainable crush for Jay since we were 16, his pictures are all over her room in Los Angeles and even here by her bed space which she looks at most nights before going to bed. And now her idol is in same campus as her.
Well, let's see what fate has in store for them. I just hope she doesn't get hurt, Jay is a Playboy for all we know.
Anyway, back to present.
Their performance was awesome, I must admit Jay's got an amazing voice. His lyrics were meaningful, the type that's gotten when a girl is involved.
   Soon they were done as the crowd cheered. I laughed anticipating the outcome as Lucia and her friends stupidly walked up the stage. Though it was fast I notice Jay signaled to the guys and just then, they stood up and walked down the podium leaving Lucia's smile plastered halfway on her face.
She looked so funny I laughed so hard clutching my tummy. Jay must really dislike her for him to do that. The crowd of students cheered them on as they walked out.
   "That's not even all, you need to see what some students did, they used her to do meme. I can't stop laughing." Lia said in between laughter as she showed me her phone.
There were several memes on her with hilarious comments from many students, they didn't even care about her being the sole heiress and Queen of the campus.
One said: 'When your crush denies you in public,' They put her funny looking half plastered smiling face below, the look she had on when they were leaving.
Okay, this did it...
I fell on the floor laughing  hysterically with Lia as I hit my hands repeatedly on the floor.
   I know it's kinda wrong to mock someone but she caused it. Her over promiscuous and extremely pompous attitude wouldn't let her brain think well. But really whoever did this is really funny and must have been waiting for a good time like this to bring Luciana down. I told you many students dislike her.
   I know she will try desperately to fish out those responsible for this ridicule but then if it's a mere scholarship student, then she will be lucky but if it's not a commoner but a fellow wealthy student, it will be very difficult for her to do anything serious except she wants her dad's school to go down. Anyways, that's their problem.
I wiped my tears resulting from so much laughter and looked at Lia who was still laughing a little. If Tania was really in the bathroom she should be out by now.
   "Lia are you sure Tania is in there?" I asked her.
She stopped laughing and looked at me seriously.
It must have occurred to her that she made a mistake AGAIN.
   Each time she's watching Jay's performance just don't bother talking to her or even asking questions, you will get wrong answers.
Cilia is so distracted when it comes to that guy not even her previous boyfriends including Eddie, had that much effect on her.
   "I'm sorry Elle, I did it again." She apologized grinningly.
   "Sure you did Lia." I roll my eyes.
   "I'm sorry okay? It won't happen again." She made to tickle me but I shifted away.
   "Same words all the time Lia." I hummed. She laughed.
   "I know, just forgive me once again. You Know I love you." She sang as she tickle my leg since it was closer. I quickly withdraw it from her reach. She looked at me and pouted.
Gosh, she always win.
   "Fine Lia. Now tell me, where is Nia?" I asked.
   "At Susan's," She said seriously.
Susan is Tania's coursemate in Physiotherapy department which is her department, didn't tell you earlier. She lives two rooms away from ours, same floor though. No wonder the door was left opened and this distracted girl forgot to lock it.
   "Okay." I said dragging myself up. I'm so tired I wanna sleep.
   "Elle," Lia's excited voice stopped me on track. I turned lazily to look at her. She was holding the leather bag I brought in and bringing out the items.
   "You got us identical designer tops and perfumes?" Within the blink of an eye she was already hugging me. I smiled.
Yeah!
The shopping today was just for Alexis but I saw the tops, they were the latest designer outfits that was recently produced.
   They looked so beautiful I couldn't get my eyes off them so I ordered for three, they are all the same color though but there's a slight difference between them so we don't get confused.
The doorbell rang, I think Nia is back.
I pat Lia's back.
   "Go get the door Lia, I'm tired." She released me with a smile.
   "Thanks best." She said and walked to the door.
Just as I assumed, it was Tania. She joined in the celebration and hugged me too. Shrieking excitedly, she always love us wearing identical wears.
Thank God for soundproof.
I smiled.
They picked out their perfume brands and carefully kept mine on my dresser.
I bought different brands since we all have a single perf brand we prefer but sometimes crazy Lia would apply more than three different brands on herself at once. Well, that's why she's Lia.
I lay flat on my bed as I watched them try on the tops.
   "What do you think Lia? Awesome right?"
   "Definitely," She replied as they admired themselves in the mirror.
They look good on it. I would've tried mine too but I'm so tired.
Daniel Roberts there's a lot to say to my friends about you, but right now I'm just gonna savour this moment with the girls...
              PENNY'S POV
I watch her walk up and down her study, kicking shelves and flinging books in unending fury. I mean.... it's been two hours already.
Gosh! Her study was already a mess. She ran a hand over her orange brown hair in frustration, her hazel brown eyes now clouded with anger.
   I took a bite from the pie in my hand and folded my legs on the sofa as I watched her, nothing we'll say will calm her down until she finds someone to vent all her anger on.
I looked at Katie, she just typed away on her phone.
   "Lu u need to calm down, it's been two hours already since we..."
   "Penny don't fucking tell me to calm down!" She cut me off with a snap.
   "Do you even know what this means? I've been publicly embarrassed the second time and this is far way worst than the first. Look all over the campus social media, I'm being made a laughing stock and here you are telling me to calm down? For crying out loud I own this campus, I'm the Queen of this campus yet it seems like I don't exist. Imagine this," I flinched as she flung her phone on the floor. "...America's number one musician walked out on the Queen of Campus, doesn't it sound so nice?!" She yelled in sarcasm.
Well, well...should have kept my mouth shut.
   "Just let me lay my hands on the nonentity that did this and God helping him or her to be a commoner, he or she will definitely face my wrath." She vowed.
   "It's not a scholarship student that did it. It's a guy of class, his father is one of the major shareholders of your father's company. I just confirmed from the person I sent to investigate this." Katie spoke up for the first time since we came in.
Lucia looked at her and kicked another shelf in annoyance. Harming the guy would be same as dragging her father's school down, and no one wants that.
But Lucia doesn't forgive easily, she might still do something unreasonable.
   "What's keeping that idiot Wayne? He's the cause of all these. If not for his wrong information, I wouldn't have been there when Daniel wasn't."
   "I said not to go up there earlier but you guys didn't listen, now look." I pointed out.
   "Is this the time to place accusations Penny?" Katie hissed.
   "I'm sorry," I muttered to Lucia who was glaring at me.
   Just then the door opened and Wayne walked in. On seeing him, she walked towards him angrily.
I stood up with immediate effect after dropping the leftover pie on a plate and walked towards them, I know what an angry Lucia can do.
Wayne bowed in respect Immediately she reached him.
   "You unfathomable moronic idiot, Do you realize what your intense level of stupidity have caused me? Simple task you couldn't accomplish well, how can you be so dumb?!" She yelled maniacally.
Ouch! That's so harsh, but that's how she is, an insulter.
   "Now tell me, what am I supposed to do with the mess you've caused me? How am I supposed to correct this?!" She yelled raising a hand to slap him.
Good thing I was there already. I caught her hand just in time, he is a grown man for goodness sake.
   "Let go of me Penny, do not interfere!" She yelled trying to wiggle free from my grasp.
   "Lu, your dad ain't gonna like this." She groaned angrily at that.
She always hit the maids and workers in her father's mansion at any little mistake, even the guards which got her dad very angry. He had warned her not to hit them again especially his guards. But will she ever listen?
   "I'm very sorry Miss Lucia. When I overheard them talking, I didn't realize Sir Daniel won't be going with them. I'm so sorry." He pleaded head still bowed.
I let go of her wrist as she eyed him up and down.
   "Better get your acts together and never again inform me of a place Dan wouldn't be at. I won't let it slide if such should repeat again." She spat.
I heaved a sigh in relief.
   "Yes Miss." He said.
   "For now go get me any information you can grasp concerning Daniel's dating life, no mistakes allowed,' She pushed a hand into her slightly disheveled hair. 'Also get a maid to come clean this up. Get out." She added icily.
   "Yes Miss." He bowed again and left.
We walked back to the sofa and Katie who have been silently watching us asked.
   "Is the drama over?"
Lucia looked at her and rolled her eyes before plopping down on her chair and muttering something about DSD girls laughing at her.
   I wonder why she seems so scared of Diva but yet she wouldn't tell us whatever happened between them.
Daniel's dating life huh? Well we'll see about that...
