JADE'S POV
Tears welled up in my eyes as I stared at the face of the enchantress who had left me in this state.
   Looking so beautiful and magnificent as her angelic grey eyes shone with so much concern and....is that pity? No I don't want her to be that way to me. I want her to love me just like I have always love her.
Really, it's not love that hurts but those who can't love.
I don't know why my stupid heart refused to obey me. I've tried not to love her in the way that I do but my heart has refused to heed. The more I try to get her off my mind, the more I think of her every passing minute.
   Anywhere I look I see her. Her presence became a part of me since the day I set my eyes on her at that departmental function. My whole life seems to be revolving around her.
I've tried to take her off my mind and heart by looking at other girls.
   Being a flirt and a Casanova has just been my ways of clearing her off my heart but so far, that method haven't been working.
But Alas! Here am I, I've been rejected again!
   I looked down at her as her hands caressed my face sending waves of electricity down my spine.
She wiped the tears that were already spilling.
Damn! Here am I shedding tears cuz of a girl.
Love sure sucks but unrequited love sucks more.
"Jade," She called. "I love you and that's why it breaks me that I'm the reason you are going through this and I'm so sorry about that." She looked at me with eyes full of sincerity.
"I've tried several times to see you as someone more than just a friend to me but my heart have stubbornly refused to comply.
   If only I have control over my own heart I would've choose you. You are a very good guy Jade and you deserve the best more than I can offer. I'm really sorry. I believe there is someone out there who will love you just like the way that you've loved me and mend your broken heart." She hugged me as tears welled up in her own eyes.
   "My love for you doesn't exceed the boundary of friendship and I'm truly sorry for not being able to return your love. Please get over me and be well my dear." She disengage from the hug and started walking away but I was quick to catch her hand.
"Elle, you are the only one who gives my heart joy and peace. Your presence since the day I saw you have already made a huge impact in me. Seeing you brings countless happiness and bliss to my soul and I'm not ready to let go of that. Rather, I will wait for the day your heart becomes same as mine and the day it will be filled with abundance of love for me. You've been sincere and I love that," she turned to look at me.
   "...that's why I will not give up on you. I will work hard to win your love and we'll be together once your heart begins to beat for me." I said with so much certainty.
"But Jade..." she began to say.
   I pulled her to me and hugged her instead.
"Don't try to stop me dear, since your effort will only be futile." I released her.
She stared at me for a while before walking off.
I watch her until she reached her friends.
I wipe my tears and walked over to my car.
She will be mine soon.
               JAY'S POV
"And that my dear friend, is one of the reasons Jay mustn't fall in love." I said to Roe as I tossed a handful of popcorn into my mouth.
He chuckled.
"Couldn't agree less brother. But," He eyed me mischievously "...this doesn't mean I agree with that loveless theory of yours." He added, dipping his hand into the popcorn bowl.
I smirked.
"Of course brother. You don't have to you know, there's Her Royal Highness, Arianna waiting." I said with a wink.
I laughed as his expression turned sour.
"Shut up." he said weakly. I laughed more throwing my head back on the headrest.
Arianna is a princess of one of the neighboring kingdoms close to England.
   Roe's father wants her to be Roe's wife once he turns 25. But Roe doesn't have any interest in her. Each time I want to pester him, I mention her to annoy him.
Seeing I wouldn't stop laughing, he rolled his eyes away to stare at the reason we were sitting in the car, The Dazzling Stars dancers.
   It was my idea though and I had dragged Roe along immediately they walked outside the cafeteria since Dan wasn't willing to stalk on them with me. Remember I said he now dislikes girls.
He drove home in his car what seems like an hour ago.
So literally we've been out here in my car for about an hour now and have seen what transpired between the black girl, Diva and the guy.
Don't blame me for stalking, I've been watching their dance videos since a year plus now, particularly the bobbed hair girl, Saline.
I couldn't help the level of curiosity that engulfed me immediately I recognized them.
So here am I watching them from a distance.
I watched as she walked with teary eyes to her friends.
Saline and the other girl Rosy, stepped out of the car immediately she reached.
   They hugged her before they all entered the car. Rosy behind the wheel, Diva at the passenger seat and Saline right next to Rosy.
They drove off.
"Can we go home now?" Roe indifferently said.
I chuckled.
"Yes my dear friend, but don't you think we should know where they live?" I asked with a mischievous smile, surely in the mood to tease him.
He hit my arm playfully.
"Shut up and take us to the dorm." He said with a playful smile.
"Yes, Your Highness." I said with a mock bow. We laughed heartily.
I started the car and guided it down the road to our dorm.
Next time I see them I will definitely try to engage in a little conversation with them.
             TANIA'S POV
I stared at Elle through the rear mirror as I drove us home. The ride was a boring one since none of us said a word, each dwelling on her own thoughts.
   After her discussion with Jade, she's been so sullen. Lia and I saw what happened and we understand how she's feeling. We didn't want to bother her with questions, seeing her expression.
I inhaled and concentrated on the road.
   But then, an idea occurred to me. I guided the car out of the driveway into another street.
Lia looked curiously at me.
"What are you doing Nia?" she asked.
I smiled at her.
"Getting us ice cream to lighten the mood."
A pleasant supportive smile replaced the bored mood she was once in. She nodded childishly, still smiling and gave me a thumbs up.
Lia loves ice cream so much I started to think she's in love with it.
I smiled and turned to the road once more.
"You know," Elle surprisingly began.
I stared at her through the mirror.
Lia turned immediately, leaning on the car seat as she stared at Elle with a happy smile.
"Finally, she speaks." I laughed.
"Yayyy!" Lia squealed almost jumping. Feeling so happy that Elle finally spoke up after 10mins of silence that seemed like eternity.
Elle managed a smile.
"I feel so sorry for him right now, and I was wondering if I could just maybe date him to..."
"No!!!" Lia and I shouted at the same time. She stared at us amusedly.
"Like seriously Elle, why would you think of that?" Lia scolded.
"You can't do that Elle, that would be hurting both of you." I added.
I could see the ice cream shop now, we were only few meters away. I slowed down the car a bit.
"But he's hurting because of me. I mean, Jade practically cried because of me. I hate to see him that way. And on top of that, he's refused to give up on me. He said he'll wait. Just seeing the way he was hurting brought tears to my eyes..."
Yeah, she's too fragile emotionally.
   "... and you Know how I hate to see good people hurting because of me. It breaks me seriously. So I just thought...I just thought that to ease his pain, maybe I should just date him and with time I might end up falling for him." She gushed throwing her hands up exasperatedly.
"And if you don't?" Lia asked quietly.
Elle couldn't answer to that.
"Don't you know you will also be hurting, you won't be happy and then supposedly you fall in love with another guy when you are still dating him, how do you think he would feel? You will definitely be hurting him more than he is now and that's seriously heart breaking. What are you going to do then?" Lia asked as she ran a finger on the headrest.
We already arrived at the ice cream shop. I parked the car carefully at the parking lot but still sat in. We need to clear this up before entering the building.
"I guess you are right then." Elle said, looking away in defeat. I smiled.
"Of course, she's right Danielle and you know that." I turned to face her like Lia is.
"...We know how you feel Elle and that's why you shouldn't do this. You don't love him or do you now?" I asked.
"You know I don't." She said as she looked at me.
"Then don't make the mistake that will end up bringing more harm than good to you guys. Jade is a good guy and I know with time he will be over you. He will definitely find love again so don't make things worse than they already are." I touch her lap gently. "You will get through this and Jade will be fine okay?" I said.
She smiled and nodded.
"So you won't do it right?" Lia asked as she blinked her lashes cutely. Elle laughed.
"With friends like you guys who would do that?" She said smilingly.
I smiled.
"Good, then let's get outta here. Ice cream is waiting."Lia winked.
I rolled my eyes.
"Of course she is." I said ironically.
We all laughed.
I remove my seat belt and step out, Elle did same. Impatient ice cream lover Lia, was already out.
After locking the car, we all walked into the building beaming with smiles.

After buying our ice cream we took them to the car since we don't want to take them there. Lia thinks taking ice cream while driving home was better.
   She took Elle's former position at the back seat, while Elle took hers. Since according to her, she wants to be very much comfortable when taking her ice cream.
No road blocks. Was what she said.
   I looked back at her as she relaxed comfortable at the back seat while opening the ice cream can.
I smiled as I turned to Elle. She gave me a knowing smile before facing her phone.
   I put on my seat belt and began the ride back home.
Today was extremely fun though.
   Cilia will be quiet for now until she finishes her ice cream...
"I haven't told you guys what happened between me and that bitch today." She began joyfully.
Oh well, remind me not to assume about her again.
