When night comes, Jin almost let out a relieved sigh when Himari said they only have to eat dinner together before she calls Akito to fetch her. Jin feels like he will lose his mind if he stays with this woman for another couple of hours. He is trained to lead one of the huge mafia organizations, but not to babysit a lunatic woman like Himari.
They decided, or rather Himari insisted, for them to eat in a restaurant surrounded by the other customers in a three-star restaurant tonight. Usually, Jin will choose a table reserved for VIPs only. But Himari's decision did not change and Jin was already tired of persuading her. In the end, he was once again given in to her request and she chose a table for two near the window.
When a waiter gave them the menus, Himari ordered the restaurant's specialty and Jin did the same. While waiting for their orders to arrive, Himari rests her head on her right hand while her fingers are gently drumming on the table. She is also humming a soft tune that Jin never heard before. Jin crossed his arms and observed Himari for a while.
Being with Himari several times already, Jin already noticed some of her habits aside from annoying the hell out of him. Himari has a habit of drumming her fingers on a flat surface while waiting. Just like what she is doing right now. There is no stable pattern to the way she drums her fingers. They always changed patterns and even the number of times it hits the surface.
Lifting his gaze, he can see Himari's eyes are gazing at the window with a soft look in her eyes. The light coming from the chandelier is reflecting on her eyes like glitters spreading on it. These rare moments are the reason why Jin still considers that Himari is not completely a lunatic and crazy woman. Himari also has some times where she looks like an ordinary girl in this city.
He suddenly remembered his conversation with Jester in the elevator a month ago. He pointed out that Himari is his type. He hates to agree but that jerk is right. Himari has the qualification he is looking for a woman, but her craziness and unpredictability are not included in his list.
After their conversation in the elevator, Jin and Jester did not mention it again. But both men know they are just patiently waiting for the result of their bet, especially Jester. He truly believes that his friend will lose first. Jin can only scoff mockingly to Jester's confidence. 
Jin likes consistency in his life. He is never a fan of doing reckless activities and halfhearted decisions. That's why it really irks him that Himari keeps on dragging him with her craziness most of the time. If only he is not considering all the benefits they can get in their partnership, Jin already throws this woman to a place where she can no longer disturb him.
When Himari turns her head, she notices Jin's serious gaze. Instead of being surprised, her soft smile transforms into a teasing one. That put a small frown on Jin's face.
"Did you enjoy our date today, Jin?" Himari asked.
"You are the only one who enjoyed it." Jin deadpanned.
"Aww. And here I thought you will like this date since I made a small effort to it. Look, I even tried to be an innocent-looking girl for you today."
"There is no innocent-looking girl in this city who will try to do bungee jumping without their knees trembling in fear." Jin corrected her.
"But that was so fun! A shame that you do not want to join me though. I found on the internet that doing tandem bungee jump will make you closer to each other." Himari said before tilting her head a little. "Maybe the internet lied to me."
"They certainly did." 
Himari laughed at that response. Jin struggles to understand her sense of humor. But of course, Himari is a unique existence in his life. Since they first met, she has never used common sense as a normal person would. 
When their orders arrived, Himari did not waste more time and starts eating her food. Naturally, Himari does not feel uncomfortable or restless in her seat even though they both eat their dinner in silence, which is a rare occasion. Rather, she is savoring her meal as though it were prepared by a well-known chef. Every time she put the food in her mouth, her eyes would light up, and she would smile and express her opinion about how it tasted. Above all, she waits until they have finished eating before attempting to talk or disturb him. 
Jin does not want to say it out loud, but he wish Himari will be always like that. He really hopes that Himari will stop making him join her unexpected behaviors. That woman might become less annoying in his eyes if she stops disturbing him and keep all of her craziness all to herself. 
After their dinner, Himari said they can now go back in front of Verita Hotel. She made a quick call to Akito and told him to fetch her there. Jin did not want to show it on his face, but he is relieved that he will finally be free of this woman. Jin only needs to suffer for a few minutes before he can find peace again.
"I really enjoyed our date today, Jin! Let's repeat it after I finished my work next week."
Though Jin remained silent, Himari chooses to ignore it. 
"Jin, do you think I can finally get your full attention on our next date? Since the innocent themed failed to do its magic, maybe I can try being an office lady the next time we meet. Do you want me to wear a pencil skirt or slack pants?"
Jin glances sideways at Himari, but he remains silent.
"Alright! I've decided to wear slacks next time. I hope you are also looking forward to it!" Himari happily declared as she clapped her hands. 
Before Jin can say anything, something hits his car from behind, causing him to quickly apply the brakes. Fortunately for them, they are both wearing seatbelts. Jin's expression hardens, and he looks in the rear view mirror, only to see a black car moving backward. It is clear they want to hit his car again from behind.
