I looked at them and smiled.
 "I was threatened to be burnt with the house if I don't leave." I said and they all looked at me. "I had to leave the house as I wanted to protect my life."
 "What brought you here?" A lady asked.
 "I stayed in search of a place all through the night but found this place when my light went off. I didn't know anywhere to go as I could no longer see." I said.
 "Alright. A similar thing happened to me." A woman with baby said.
 "But my case is different from yours." I showed her signs that I cared. 
"What really happened?" I asked her and she contemplating if she should let me know. 
"Alright, I will let you know as you are one of us and they had all heard my story." She said and turned to look at a man who nodded his head. 
"I lost my husband to a ghastly accident. Knowing of this, his family came to send me out of the house saying they won't want a wayward person in the house. I cried as they reminded me of my waywardness before I got married but I had struggled with them. I had to leave the house as I was threatened to be burnt down with my baby. They didn't agree that this is their blood," She said pointing to the baby and I shook my head. 
"What waywardness?" I asked and shook my head as I saw drop of water pour down her face.
 "I was an harlot before I met my husband. I had become an harlot so as to supply for my family who were extremely poor." She said and I took in a breath. 
"I am sorry for asking you that question." I said and she nodded. 
We sat together and looked at the each other. Some people were playing while some were talking which made me think of Chloe. 
I thought of growling but had to caution myself against it.
 "Miss Sophia Chloe!" Someone called me and I looked at them. 
"Do you want to talk to someone?" She asked but I didn't reply. 
"I mean you shouldn't stay alone, you can communicate with someone." She said and I shook my head.
 "Early next morning, when are you all going out?" I asked and they all looked at me.
 "You do not need to worry." A man said.
 "We would all rise very early but do not worry about it, you are not going out with us as that is our way of welcoming a new person into this place." 
"I really feel bored in here." I said and the man laughed. 
"This is your first day here and you feel bored." He said and I nodded.
 "What would make you not feel bored?" He asked. 
"I would love to go out with you next morning." I said.
 He took a long deep breath then looked at a man. He later turned to face me and nodded. 
"Alright, we are going to change the time to afternoon." He said looking at me.
 "So you can rest till the sun comes out." I smiled and looked at him. I shook my head. 
"I would be fine. Let's do it early in the morning." I said. 
"Alright, if that's your wish." He said. 
We discussed on different things till it became extremely dark and I could hear some snoring. Seeing that they were all asleep, I changed to my original form and walked out of the cave.
 Getting out of the cave, I looked at the people in the cave. 
"I will be back soon." I said and released myself into the air having put a cover around the cave so that no one could come out. 
I flew into the street my human parents live in and went down become my normal self. I moved round the street smiling. 
"What do you want here?" I heard someone ask and looked down. 
"Can you see me?" I asked and he nodded.
 "I am not living. I am dead but not a vampire." He said.
 "You are a spirit." I said and he nodded his head.
 "You should go back to the place you are coming from as this place would close up now." He said and I laughed.
 He flew away and I could see the place folding up and immediately lifted myself up to the air so as not to be buried inside.
 I flew back to the cave and removed the cover. I walked back inside and sat down. I closed my eyes and was envelope as I slept off. Early in the morning, the people woke me up while I murmured some words.
 "Wake up now. Let's go get our meal for the dark." A woman said tapping me but I didn't get up although I was awake.
 "Some water will do best in waking her up." Another lady said and I jumped up.
 "Do not pour water on me." I said and they laughed. 
"Alright, let's go." A man said and we all stepped out of the cave. 
We walked down to a dirty area and they started picking up some cans. "Are you hungry?" Someone asked from behind us and we nodded. 
"Alright, come into my house. I will be glad to host you." The man said and they happily went into the open gate. 
I stood fixed as I saw the man looked into my eyes. 
"Let's go in." He said minutes later and held me by my shoulder.
 I shivered at his touch but didn't say a word. I just followed him into the house.
 "Alright, have your sit." He said pointing to a table. We alll walked to the table and pulled out chairs for ourselves. "Mum!" The man called. "We have some visitors." 
"Alright Donald, I would be there soon." The woman shouted. 
Minutes later, she walked out with a tray and stared at me dropping the tray.
 I touched my face and noticed that I was in my normal self and not in the form of an old lady. I looked at the people who were with me at the table and they all smiled to me. I looked up and saw the man stare into my face. I smiled at him and looked to the food beside me.
 I smiled as I saw some meat, plantain and red drink. I immediately ate all the meat then ate the plantain and drank the red drink. They all stared at me.
