knock.....knock.....knock.....
The sound of a knock echoed from outside Jay and Meinny’s room. Jay, who had heard the knocks, slowly awoke from his sleep. He looked at his wife, who was comfortably curled up against him, still sound asleep. Despite hearing the knock on the door, Jay did not move from his position.
He continued to gaze at his wife's peaceful face, marveling at how adorable she looked while sleeping.
Perfect, Jay whispered quietly to himself, smiling. He glanced at the clock on the wall, which read 5 PM. Dinner time was approaching, and they needed to eat on time to avoid his wife going hungry, as she had that morning.
"Baby... wake up, baby. It's time to get up," Jay said softly, gently shaking his wife’s body.
Meinny, who was extremely tired, did not hear her husband’s words. She remained asleep, unresponsive, even though Jay had shaken her.
Seeing that his wife remained in deep sleep, Jay decided to try a more playful approach to wake her. He began planting kisses all over her face, hoping to disturb her sleep. As expected, she immediately woke up and glared at Jay, clearly annoyed that her rest had been interrupted.
"Ugh... hubby... I'm still so sleepy," Meinny groaned, snuggling her face against his broad chest and hugging him tightly while closing her eyes again.
"Come on, baby, wake up. We need to shower and then go downstairs for dinner," Jay responded softly, placing a kiss on her forehead.
"Five more minutes, hubby. I'm really sleepy," Meinny murmured, still clinging to him and keeping her eyes shut.
"Alright, I’ll wake you up in five minutes. But now, let go of me, baby. I need to go to the bathroom and shower first," Jay replied, looking at her as she tightly embraced him.
"Ugh… don’t get up yet, hubby. I want to lie here with you," Meinny responded in a playful whine.
"But hubby’s not sleepy anymore, baby," Jay said in a low voice. He knew that this would make Meinny wake up.
Hearing his response, Meinny slowly started to open her eyes.
"Carry me," Meinny mumbled with a raspy voice, still trying to gather her strength.
Jay smiled, then gently picked her up and carried her. Together, they freshened up before heading downstairs.
Twenty minutes later.....
Jay and Meinny’s footsteps echoed as they descended the stairs and walked toward the kitchen. The table was filled with various dishes, including crispy chicken, curry chicken, stir-fried vegetables with special seasonings, and several desserts like melon and yogurt.
"What would you like to eat, hubby? Let me serve you," Meinny asked as she held a medium-sized white plate, ready to serve her husband.
"Just a little rice, and I want one of each of the dishes here, baby," Jay replied, eyeing the spread of food with hunger.
"Alright, I’ll prepare it for you, hubby. Wait a moment," Meinny said, gathering the different dishes from the table.
"Here you go, hubby. Enjoy your meal," Meinny said as she placed the plate in front of him.
"Thank you, sweetie," Jay replied with a smile.
Jay didn’t immediately start eating; he waited for Meinny to prepare her own plate first. Once she was done and seated, they said a prayer together before beginning their dinner. They ate with enjoyment, occasionally teasing each other and laughing.

After dinner, Jay and Meinny returned to their room to prepare the things they would take with them to Paris the following day.
"Don’t pack too much, baby. We’ll buy clothes there too," Jay said as he watched his wife sorting out the clothes they were going to take.
"Hmm… don’t waste money on clothes, hubby. Some of the ones you bought for me earlier are still unused," Meinny replied, stopping her packing to glance at him.
"Alright, but we’ll only bring one suitcase tomorrow. I don’t want us to be burdened with too much luggage," Jay replied with a soft sigh.
"You can go to sleep first, hubby. I’ll finish packing our things quickly," Meinny said as she stuffed their clothes into a large, dark green suitcase.
Jay approached her and helped her pack the essentials into the suitcase so they could both rest.
"Thank you, hubby," Meinny said, planting a quick, light kiss on his cheek.
"It’s no problem, baby. Now, let’s get some rest so we’re not late tomorrow," Jay replied with a cheerful smile, glad for the kiss.
"Sleep well, baby. I love you so much," Jay said as he pulled his wife into his arms.
"Good night, hubby. I love you too," Meinny replied, closing her eyes as she prepared to sleep.
The couple fell into a deep sleep, having already planned their upcoming honeymoon in Paris.

DAY OF DEPARTURE TO PARIS ♡
It was now 5 AM. Meinny, already awake, had finished freshening up and walked over to the bed where her husband was still sleeping. She intended to wake Jay up so they could prepare, as they needed to be at the airport before 7 AM.
Once ready, the couple made their way downstairs to the driveway where the car, arranged by Pak Boh, was waiting.
Inside the car.....
"How about we have breakfast at the airport, baby?" Jay asked.
"Yeah. I’m afraid we’ll be late if we eat at home, especially since our house is about half an hour away from the airport," Meinny replied, showing a relaxed expression so Jay wouldn’t feel burdened by the fact they hadn’t had breakfast at home.
During the ride, Jay, who had suddenly received an email from his company, worked on some tasks that needed his attention. Feeling bored, Meinny rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. Occasionally, Jay kissed the top of her head lovingly while typing away on his laptop.
Time passed, and soon they arrived at Incheon International Airport (ICN), the main airport in South Korea, located near Seoul. Jay gently woke up his wife, then headed straight to the baggage counter since he had already checked in online. After passing through security and immigration, they arrived at the boarding area. They still had a few minutes before boarding, and Jay initially considered buying food for them, but Meinny stopped him.
"We’ll eat on the plane, hubby. I’m not hungry yet," Meinny said, holding her husband's hand to stop him from walking away.
"Hmm... okay. Let me know if you’re hungry later, baby," Jay replied softly.
Meinny simply nodded, and they sat together, waiting for the boarding announcement.

After 30 minutes of waiting for the boarding announcement, the time finally came for them to board the plane.
Meinny quickly showed her and Jay’s flight tickets to the staff at the plane’s entrance. Afterward, they sat in the assigned seats. Meinny sat by the window, with Jay beside her. They were seated next to each other.
"Finally, we’re off," Meinny said with a smile.
"Yeah, it felt like we waited forever," Jay replied.
The peaceful atmosphere inside the plane made them feel even closer to each other.
Jay held his wife’s smooth hand, which was resting on his chest, and asked, "Is there any place you want to visit once we arrive in Paris, baby?"
"Well… I’d love for us to visit places like the Château de Versailles and the Seine River Cruise. As for the rest, I leave it up to you, my handsome husband," Meinny teased.
Jay playfully poked her nose, smiling at her sweet behavior.
"Alright, my dear wife, maybe tomorrow morning we can explore the city since we’ll be arriving in the evening. So, we should rest first," Jay replied.
"Hubby…" After a few moments of silence, Meinny suddenly called out to him.
"Yes, baby?" Jay responded in a low voice.
"I’m feeling sleepy. Can I take a nap?" Meinny asked softly, her voice tinged with exhaustion.
"Of course, baby. Come here, let me hold you," Jay said, gently patting his chest to encourage her to cuddle him. He adjusted the divider between their seats to make it more comfortable for them to lie down.
Meinny wrapped herself in his arms and closed her eyes. However, she looked up again and gazed at Jay with a soft expression. Jay furrowed his brow. Then, without warning, Meinny quickly kissed her husband on the lips before settling back into his embrace.

Charles de Gaulle Airport.....
The plane landed safely at Paris' main international airport. After a 12-hour flight, they had finally arrived in Paris.
Once their formalities at the airport were completed, Jay led his wife out of the airport to a luxury car that had been waiting for them.
"Welcome to Paris, sir," the man in the black suit greeted them.
Jay nodded, then motioned for Meinny to enter the car first.
"Please, baby," Jay said with a smile as he opened the door for her.
"Thank you, hubby," Meinny replied, appreciating how her husband had opened the door for her.
"My pleasure, baby," Jay replied.
Once he made sure Meinny was comfortably seated, Jay instructed the driver to take them to a luxurious hotel in the heart of Paris.
"Take us to Shangri-La Hotel Paris," Jay said.
"Yes, sir," the driver responded.
A few minutes later, after driving from the airport to the hotel, they arrived at the luxurious Shangri-La Hotel Paris. Known for its stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, the hotel offered both luxury and world-class service.
Jay and Meinny had now arrived in their hotel room. Meinny was in awe of the view from their hotel balcony, which overlooked the Eiffel Tower.
"Wow… Hubby! This view will be even more beautiful at night," Meinny exclaimed.
"Of course, baby. We’ll enjoy our honeymoon here, romantically," Jay replied, pulling his wife into a warm embrace from behind.
A few minutes later, Meinny’s stomach growled, as it hadn’t been fed since they arrived in the city. She blushed, feeling embarrassed as Jay laughed at the sound.
"Hahaha… you’re so cute, baby" Jay said, still chuckling, but softer now.
"Hehe… I’m hungry, hubby," Meinny replied shyly.
"Hm… alright. Let’s eat now before we rest," Jay responded, then gently pulled his wife’s hand to lead her out of the room.
Meinny stopped him, feeling reluctant about his last comment. She wanted them to walk around the city after they ate.
"Hubby…" she called, looking at him with pleading eyes.
"Yes, baby?" Jay asked.
"Can we go for a walk after eating?" she asked.
"You’ll get tired later, baby. We should rest for a bit before exploring the city," Jay replied.
"Ugh… but I already rested on the plane, and now I feel ready to walk around," Meinny said, flashing him a sweet smile.
"Hmm… alright. But only around the hotel area. I still need a little rest, baby. Can you understand that?" Jay responded, cupping both of her cheeks.
Hearing this, Meinny nodded enthusiastically. She remembered how, on the plane, Jay had been busy with work, while she had fallen asleep out of boredom.
"Alright, I understand," Meinny said, then quickly kissed Jay on the lips.
Jay gently stroked her chubby cheek and kissed her back before they finally left the room in search of food.
