Donny followed Alyn's social media accounts and because of his continuous commitment, Alyn followed him back. They started chatting together and usually their conversations were all about scouting for they were both scouts. They both wanted to be an Eagle Scouts. Firstly, Donny tried to open a topic about getting to know Alyn well by saying, " Alyn, is it okay with you if I were to become your friend?". Alyn could not see any problem with that at all so she just genuinely responded by telling him that," Why not?". Their friendship became so stronger in ways that they began going out together and enjoy the delicious street foods out there with buko pandan shake for Donny and strawberry flavor for Alyn. Their communication became consistent but the feelings would argue otherwise. Donny didn't want to be just a friend to Alyn. He wanted more than that. That is why , he then texted Alyn with this line," Alyn are you busy? I am here outside of your house. Can you go out at least?" Alyn was not having hectic days at all so she then gave her yes to Donny. When she went out of their house, she saw Donny bringing something. It was not so tangible to her eyes for it wasn't a close distance. But when she got nearer and nearer, it went so clear. It was an adorable shih tzu puppy. Alyn got distracted because of what she saw for she is an animal lover. " Ahhh you are so cute. Donny,where did you get this puppy huh?", Alyn asked. " Alyn, it is yours. I bought this for you. Consider this as a gift." , Donny said.
Alyn was amazed for what she heard about the puppy and so, " Donny, you gotta be kidding me?! Really?!". Donny replied with, " Yeah!" . Due to this, Alyn got the ruthless confidence to say, " Ohhhh thank you Donny! Thank you!".
" Alyn, it's just nothing ". Donny uttered. The moment Donny saw how Alyn carved out her smile on her face,he then said to himself in a way of thinking that he should be honest to his feelings. " Alyn, I want to be real with you, I don't want us to be just friends. I am in love with you.", Donny said .
Alyn was having no idea on what to say but, " Donny, I am too young to be in a relationship. I am still 14."
Donny was too persistent and he got the self-esteem to say, "I know but I love you. I promise, we will never go beyond our limitations".
Alyn never wanted to be in a serious relationship and she was not even looking forward to this because she was scared. But she remembered something about the great reminder she has within herself that she will be making everything worth it while she is here. So, instead of breaking Donny's heart, she tried her best to break the pattern of her fear. " Donny, if you really love me, you will wait until I become 18. "
Donny was extremely certain enough about his feelings to Alyn so he said, " It is okay. I will be fine with 4 years of waiting. Alyn, I will never give up on you. Don't forget that." Because of that scenario, Donny gave his all out best to improve himself and to prove to Alyn that he is serious and that, he is deserving for Alyn's love.
For Alyn side, she wanted to try something out of the box without even telling her parents about it but she wanted to test the willingness of Donny to be on her side. In all years of her living, she would always feel the love and care of her parents. Her father's name is Mariano. While her mother's name is Camila. One thing she could never forget about what her parents would always tell to her is a piece of advice that tells her to not get seriously connected with another human being. However, Alyn was starting to break the rule and she was just waiting a perfect moment to confront her parents about Donny, courting her. She was too timid at first but her timidity transformed into courage as the days would progress. She faced her parents with everything she can have . Alyn was aware of her parent's qualities that they were caring, loving, but they were strict when it comes down to family rules.
She knocked the door of her parents and her mom opened it. " Oh, my baby. Come inside." Her mama said. While entering the exact room, she saw her papa doing something and she had an idea that it was all about work. So, she was bringing herself in a particular circumstance where whe was having doubts to interrupt her parents . So instead of being real with her parents about Donny, she just opened her mouth and said, " Ma, Pa, I am starving. Can we grab something to bite at least? Something that we have never tried before?If that's okay?" Her parents were really concerned about her and what they all wanted was to give everything that they can possibly give to their one and only daughter. They were about to come out but Alyn refused to do so. She changed her mind and just chosen to stay for it was not really her intention to crave something and purchase something to eat that appears to be unusual. That moment, her parents were feeling something weird about their daughter. They had this intuition that something was bothering to their daughter's mind and as compassionate parents, they wanted to find it out. Their curiosity compelled them to be more versatile and more active about everything that may possibly happen a long the way. What they wanted to happen is to make the most of anything. They wanted to give the best life that their daughter could ever and ever have.
