Good parents will always choose to understand their daughter's feelings and that, they would always choose to do what will make their daughter happy. Alyn told her parents that she wanted to get out of the hospital and go to school and finally join scouting again. Mariano and Camila were skeptical at first but at the end of the day, they just agreed wholeheartedly what their daughter wanted to do. Alyn wanted to be productive and accomplish her dreams while she has time to do it and even though she felt to weak, she would still choose the path of doing something for herself. The hospital allowed Alyn to get discharged but they made a promise that they would make a call for the hospital when something bad would happen along the way. Alyn was so much excited to come back to her scouting career because from the very beginning, she had a goal which is to be an Eagle Scout. Donny decided to join scouting once again as well. But this time, they told themselves that they would balance their time between academics and their duty as scouters. Mariano felt worried for his daughter but what he did, he just trusted Alyn's decision. Alyn and Donny kept on joining but never put their studies in jeopardy. They both joined in numerous jamborees and participated in many activities. Scouting helped Alyn to enjoy life to the fullest. As moments progressed, in the middle of the activity, Alyn felt weak but in lieu of telling Donny, she just smiled sincerely like she was perfectly fine. Three days passed, the event moved to its finish line and all scouts who joined in the activity will be interviewed next month for Eagle Scout Rank, which means that, they will be having their National Board of Review for Eagle Scouts (NBOR).
Scouters were excited and happy for the news they've got and they felt the urge of reviewing those important topics in scouting for the upcoming interview. Alyn could not explain her feelings and Donny could even jump due to the positive feelings he was carrying at a time. "Don, I can't explain my feelings." Alyn said while putting a smile on her face. Donny was way happier for seeing Alyn's eyes full of happiness because it is one of her dreams to be an Eagle Scout and acquire it's medal. They both went back to home with ecstasy. Mariano and Camila were greatly affected by the positive feelings going on. They were both thankful to know Donny quite a lot and they considered Donny as a blessing of their lives as a matter of fact. " Donny, before you go home, I'd like to say thank you for always being there for our daughter. I really appreciate your patience because you have to wait for years just for our daughter and I really admire your sincerity and Donny, hopefully, you will never get tired of her. Thank you so much." Camils expressed her sincere gratitude for Donny. " I will never get tired of her and I will always choose to be with her and I am always willing to wait for the time when she is finally ready." Donny's response. Mariano and Camila adored Donny even more. Donny already got the faith of Alyn's parents and he would always have the alacrity to prove her love to Alyn whatever it takes and no matter how hard it could be. Donny and Alyn enjoyed quite a lot in scouting. They learned a lot of things and this movement taught them the significance about leadership, serving the county, and being responsible citizens. Reasons why Donny and Alyn would always choose to get into. Going further, Donny wanted to treat Alyn because he felt like they needed to celebrate for being able to join in scouting once again. Alyn could not say no to Donny's offering so at the end of the day, they just went out with her dog, lucky. They ate a lot of foods and they were so happy to be together in precious moments. Alyn had no amount of words that can equate how thankful she was to get along well with Donny and to know more about him. Donny colored her life in such a great manner and Donny was exactly the reason why she was able to realize how important it could be to go out of your comfort zone and just try something different. She used to be so coward of going out there but Donny changed that. She used to be really afraid of getting attached, commitment, and love but Donny changed that. Donny altered and broke the empowering patterns and replaced it with empowering ones. She may not be allowed to experience too much happiness and too much sadness but she can't be so scared now. She was ready to feel and encounter all emotions because what she wanted to happen was to make everything worthy and forever worthy. " Eye disability? a weak heart?! Will never matter now. What really matters is how I enjoy thise gift which I call, "life" to the very fullest. This is how I came into the world and I can't feel sad, down, depressed, and resentful all the time. Now that I am stronger, braver, bolder, happier, and better, I will choose to be happy and I will always choose to surround myself with positive energy because that is something that I always want to have. I have the freedom to choose, I have the birthright to be happy, and I am capable of believing that I deserve to be happy." Alyn's notes. Alyn was moved and touched when she had written all of this. She loved writing and expressing her feelings through writing down all of the details behind. As day turned into dusk, Alyn wanted to take a nap for she was feeling a little bit tired. She got her pillow and moved forward to her tree house which served as her hideout. Alyn loved staying there because she could always feel the great ambiance associated with cold breeze and tweeting birds, aspects that helped her to relax. Aside from her pillow, she also got her favorite book that taught her how to live life with a sense of creativity. However, after hours of tranquility, rain suddenly came out that is why she needed to get back inside and prepare herself for tomorrow's academic activity on the other way around. They will be having an oral recitation that is why Alyn needed to study more so that, she will be able to participate and be able to answer so well. Alyn grabbed her notebooks and pens to study or review and even enjoyed in the midst of everything. Alyn was in the middle of studying when Donny texted her all of a sudden. Alyn was surprised when Donny told her to go outside of the house because he was there. Alyn just followed what Donny said and she took her glasses to see things clearly. When she arrived to her destination, she automatically saw Donny and he looked sad, " Don, are you okay?" Alyn asked. Donny did not answer anything and he just hugged Alyn out. " I missed you." Donny said. Alyn was touched and at the same time, she was wondering why Donny said those three words but she just responded by saying , " Oooh, you wanna come inside Don? By the way, have you eaten yet?" Donny didn't accept the offer and he just went back to home after fulfilling his intention which is to tell Alyn how he missed her. As for Alyn, she continued doing her reviews for tomorrow but she was still thinking about Donny that something was going on and she could entirely feel the stamina to figure things out but she eventually thought that she was being paranoid. In lieu of thinking lots of things, Alyn decided to sleep already and take a lot of rest in order to be able to gain more energy for their oral recitation. Luminous morning came, Alyn just got up from bed and Camila was preparing for their breakfast. Mariano was also getting ready for his work and when everything was set, they sent Alyn to school right after. " Goodluck honey!" Camila and Mariano said to their loving daughter. Alyn smiled and said something as a response, "Thank you mom and dad. I will give my best." Alyn came out of the car with her bag and she was having excitements at a time. While she was walking forward, she was expecting to see Donny because she was accustomed to it for it always happened but there was no image of Donny out there. Alyn got flabbergasted but she just assumed that Donny got into their classroom already. When Alyn finally arrived to her destination, she saw her classmates getting set. She immediately came inside and they were all waiting for their teacher to arrive. After minutes of waiting, Teacher Zayn was finally tangible to their eyes and she came into the exact room and the oral recitation started. Everyone was required and told to stand up everytime they would answer. Alyn was applauding for her classmates for being able to participate and gave their all out best and when it was her turn, Teacher Zayn asked her three questions related to their topic and Alyn gave the right answers for these three questions. She was glad for what she had done and was looking forward to sharing the details with her parents and Donny at the end of the day.
