Life is really a double-edged sword. It is composed of negative side and a positive side and all of us have a choice whether we are willing to pick the great one or the disempowering one but we also have a choice to transform that negativity into an aura of positivity. Donny tried to accept the fact that Alyn won't come back anymore but he knew deep within that Alyn is always there. He can feel her soul, her cold embrace, her presence. One night, Donny had a dream and he saw Alyn saying something but he couldn't hear it but there was something in his dream that he could not ever forget, "A diploma and An Eagle Scout Medal". These were the things that Alyn was holding in Donny's dream and because of that, he then realized and efficiently brought himself to a prerequisite epiphany that he should be pursuing everything he wants to achieve in life and make Alyn proud . He continued his education. He pursued his scouting career. He did something out of his comfort zone where he can not feel the easiness, something that is challenging. He did all of this to prove to Alyn that he is the right man for her. Donny knew that he was not alone, that Alyn was there, watching what he was doing. Donny accumulated his strength to be part of varsity team in their school and not in basketball, but in baseball team. Because of his willingness to try, he showed up and became part of the team. Their team will be competing with other schools coming from different places and Donny prepared for this quite a lot. He devilishy worked so hard to bring home the gold trophy with his team. After 2 months of training, his team finally competed and their hardworks never betrayed them. They won. Donny got so delighted about it. He was too excited to tell it to Alyn and show the trophy to her. He was overflowing with excitements at a time and he knew that they would really make it in the first place. Their supporters were very happy. In the middle of the competition, Cryst came out to approach Donny. She congratulated him and said, " Donny, are you free tomorrow night? Can we go out together, as a friend? You know." The moment Donny heard about this, he refused to say "yes" to Cryst's offering. He didn't want to go out with other girls. He just wanted to be with Alyn forever. He wanted to get things back the way they were. " Cryst, I am not free. Stop bothering me!" Cryst felt resentful about he said. She can't believe it. She never encountered a guy who would say " no" to her considering his sultry figure, angelic face, and captivating looks. She could not even forget Alyn, taking her title away from her that is why, as a way of vengeance, she will do everything to make Donny fall in love with her. Gio had a crush on Alyn. But he wasn't able to obtain the opportunity to confess her feelings to Alyn. But he knew from the very beginning that Alyn will never be his girlfriend because Donny is there. Gio is one of a kind, understanding,and benevolent. He is the opposing character of Cryst. Donny never felt the alacrity to fall in love again. He could always feel that Alyn was just around. He never even wanted to let things go. It is not easy to unlove a certain person who occupied so much space within your heart especially when we were not ready for another kind of love. It appears to be extremely hard to move on and appears to be so much easy for some people who never experience the same situation that you are going through. However, it is all up to you. You are the only one who can make your own decision. But then, the moment when Mariano and Camila came toward Donny's place, they saw the grief in the eyes of Donny so Camila came up with a piece of advice to Donny, " Don, we know how much you love our daughter, we know how real you are to her and to us. We feel so bad about about this loss and we are feeling bad for you too but it is a good thing that you have your loving and thoughtful Lolo now. Donny, it is a huge loss right? it breaks our hearts into pieces that we've never expected to be broken before. But we have to move on. We have to open our hearts for another one true love that would eventually come around. You have to move on and learn to be happy on the other way around." Donny said with tears, " Tita Camila, I cant." Camila was moved and responded by saying, " Don, I believe you can. You think Alyn will be happy seeing you like that?" If you can't do it for yourself, do it for Alyn at least. If I could be so much honest with you Don, I am now carrying another life in my womb, and this baby will receive the best love that "she" deserves to have, little by little, you will be okay as long as you are willing to choose to be in that way. There are lots of love, waiting and waiting for you out there." The emotional conversation ended with a genuine and tight hug of Mariano and Camila with Donny of course. In life, there will always be kind of people who are going to uplift us, empower us, and strengthen us to find ourselves and to find our purpose ahead of us. Their words can be so much powerful that would enlighten our soul efficiently and if you have them in your life, then cherish them not just for a day, an hour, minute, second, but for a lifetime. Donny finally brought himself to a meaningful and purposeful epiphany that he will be moving on and choose to treasure those memories that they shared together, and finally open his heart once more. Their story will always find its place within Donny's heart and soul and Donny will always choose to cover it with happiness, joy, laughters, and smiles forever. Poco a poco, Donny learned to lose himself in to the new haze of horizon and learned to be proud of what had happened in the past and learned to be grateful of what is currently happening and learned to be thankful for what is going to happen in the near future. Donny had chosen to believe that he will be perfectly fine after all and he promised himself that will fulfill his purpose and accomplish his dreams over time. But before anything else, Donny visited Alyn's tomb and brought bunch of fresh flowers for her. He sat down on the grass and offered it to her and smiled little bit more, " Thank you Alyn, thank you" These were the last words he said to Alyn but out of your knowledge, Donny created a heartfelt letter to Alyn and though, Alyn will not be able to read but Alyn will be able to feel it. Donny put the letter on the tomb together with the fresh flowers but Donny realized suddenly that it would be much better if he could get himself to read it for Alyn so he cleared his throat and opened the letter and started reading. He said there, " Love is something that changed me and it was the kind of true love and a love coming from you, Alyn. I fell in love with someone who was younger than me but love knows no age though. I had been patiently waiting for your sweet " yes" but we did not reach to that part but I know that it had happened for a purpose. A bad guy, I used to be a bad guy. Hooked in games and accustomed of going out with friends. My parents' loss entirely affected my whole that compelled me to feel that I belonged in darkness and sadness. I used to question myself about my purpose of living for I felt so useless and I felt like I am nothing. But scouting, gave me a path to meet that hope and light that I truly needed the most. It was you! It was you! It was you! I never wasted the opportunity to confess because if I did, then it will be a huge mistake and I was not wrong. You are the person that I never expected to be part of me. You are one of a kind. I did not know and I had no idea what I had eaten to love this way but I never had sort of regrets. From the very beginning, your eyes captivated me, your elegant gestures attracted me. Everything about you is indeed phenomenal. Thank you for making me feel that I am worthy. Thank you for helping me to find my worth. Thank you for accepting me. You may not able to say those three words personally, but allow me to respond what you have written in your letter, " I love you too." My eyes couldn't stop crying while writing all of this. You are so important to me Alyn but I can't question life anymore because I know that I have to let acceptance and move on to rise above. I know you are happy seeing me , losing myself in the new elite levels of life. Alyn, from now on, I will be stronger, better,and I will try to be happier. I will continue on pursuing my aspirations, dreams, goals, and ambitions in life. I will be the best version of myself and will always choose to hold on to my greatest purpose which is to make everything worthy and I learned that from you. I learned a lot from you. You are not just the one that I am inlove with but you also became my great teacher. There will be no sufficient amount or words that can eventually equate my aunthetic gratitude on you but I am saying it again, " Thank you". I know deep down in my heart that you will be so much proud of me and I am so proud of you too, always and one word with three letters that I will also treasure the most , it would be the best "yes" that I've been wanting to hear that I never had after all.
