Alyn finally turned to 15 and it was a fantastic celebration yet simple. Donny was immensely happy for what had happened in her birthday and for the acceptance that Mariano and Camila had given toward him and he just promised to himself that he will never break the faith they had offered. Donny is really deserving of Alyn's " Yes" as a matter of fact in a way that, though Alyn is sick, he still choose to be with her. As the moments progressed, Alyn was thinking that she wanted to focus on her studies and focus on the people who bring positive energy to her life. She came up with a decision that she will stop joining scouting movements for a while. When she told this to Donny, he just smiled and said, " I will always choose to support you Alyn whatever decisions you make along the way. I am always here for you". Out of everybody's knowledge, the reason why Alyn decided to set scouting aside, it is because she is feeling weaker than before but then, she can't admit it to her parents and most especially to Donny. It would be a huge ache for everyone to know about the worse condition of Alyn.
One day passed, Albert Einstein's candidates for the upcoming mentioned activity are having their tough dry run inside their training studio already because the event is really getting closer. It is a good thing to know that Gio is a kind of clingy guy and gentleman so we could not see any problem with him at all but everytime Donny take a glimpse toward him, he could feel that he is stepping beyond the limitations. He feel a sort of jealous and same goes for Alyn. Everytime she look at Cryst, being so fresh and glowing, and always holding Donny's right shoulder makes her feel like burning. She feels a sort of jealous too. The candidates have only 3 days to practice themselves for the pageant.
Right after the rehearsal, Cryst, approached Donny and she was trying to make him an offer that if it is possible to have their lunch together. " Donny is it fine if we take our lunch together and discuss every important details about the pageant?". Donny could not see any problem or bad issue about it at all so he agreed. They went to canteen together and sat down on the same chair. When Alyn, came out going toward the canteen, she saw how close they were to one another. In lieu of continuing her steps, she made a call for Gio. " Gio, where are you?" Are you having your lunch already?" . Right after this call, Gio came to go with Alyn and they went to Basketball court together with their lunch.
Instead of talking about the pageant, Gio shared something to Alyn about his life being a basketball player. " If I could be honest, this is not what I really want. I want something else but I have no choice. It's my father's dream and this is the only way how I will be able to make him proud of me. He wanted me to become a famous basketball player and I just followed what he wanted for me and give my best and train even harder ,and probably not for myself but for my father". Gio admitted. Alyn witnessed how good son he can be and she said, " Gio, I appreciate what you are doing. You are well known for being such a great basketball player. I am sure you make your papa proud . Always. But it is also better Gio to do something else, something that you truly love to do".
Gio felt awesome for he heard from Alyn and he smiled right after what Alyn just said, and Alyn smiled too. And out of their knowledge, Donny saw how they smiled to one another.
Donny felt so weird about it. He wanted to confront Alyn but he can't for he know that they are not officially in a relationship. However, he did not follow what he had in his mind. Right after class, he confronted Alyn. " Alyn, don't get so close to Gio." Donny said. ' What? why?" Alyn told her. ' I am jealous" Donny admitted with no sense of hesistation. Alyn laughed and laughed for the hilarious confession of Donny. " What is so funny Alyn? I am serious. " Donny said with a cute voice. " Nothing, but you have to do the same Donny. You shoud not get too close to Cryst too. She is so pretty you know" Alyn told to Donny. " And why?" Donny asked. " Nothing. I am not inclined to tell it with a reason though. " Alyn said with doubts. But then, " I know, you are jealous too. Am I right Alyn ? Am I right?". Donny said with small laughs. " Noway" Alyn responded.
They are laughing of everything they said to one another. It was a hilarious talk for the both of them.
Finally, after 3 days, the final show begins. Hair and make up artists are there and Mariano and Camila are in the exact venue already and Albert Einstein's students are there too. After minutes of waiting for the show to finally commence, the host comes out. And the show begins. Everyone is cheering for their representatives and Mariano and Camila are also their being supportive parents for Alyn. All candidates have the best looks that they can have. Donny is moved to witness how beautiful Alyn is in her attire when she comes out on that stage and radiates with spotlight. Alyn smiled at him. After hours, the program finally goes to the Question and Answer Portion and Alyn had the most excellent answer among candidates and for male, Gio had the most brilliant answer too and Donny clinched the second spot. But Cryst acquired the " face of the night award". After hours,the program finally goes to the point where judges have chosen the most deserving to win the title. And the new , Mr. and Ms. AEPS go to, Mr. Donny Smyth and Ms. Alyn Greece. For the overall performance, they both stand out amongst the candidates. Their sections are creating the loudest noise they can have to showcase how supportive they are. Mariano and Camila get extremely happy. And Gio congratuled Alyn for her victory and he also congratuled Donny for winning the title. Donny and Alyn are so much happy for their achievement. Other candidates are grateful for the result of the event except for Cryst. She could not accept the result. She wanted to win. She told herself, " I can't accept all of this."
