LAURA'S POV
   "Sir, you requested my presence?" I said as i entered Mr Roberts office
"Yes i did, here are the résumés for our two new staffs, they're downstairs now, you can go over there and direct them to their stations" He instructed, i collected the files and was about going out when i heard him say
"I'll be out for the rest of the day, makes sure everywhere's in order"  Came his instruction
"Yes sir"I simply replied and went out, i took glance at their files and took the elevator down
"Vanessa Holland and Emily Rodriguez " I called and immediately saw two young ladies approaching my way, one had dark blonde hair colour while the other had a light brunette hair colour
"Vanessa?" I called again to know who is who, the brunette answered 
"Says here you're 18, clocking 19 in a few weeks, happy birthday in advance, you're a freshman in WSU right?" 
"Yes everything's correct" She answered sharply
"You have any experience working at a makeup store?" I asked again
"No, but I handel the makeup beautifully but that doesn't mean i don't have room for improvement" She answered and bowed a bit, she seemed shaky
"Right, would take you to your unit in a bit, Emily?" I called and the dark blonde answered
"19 by age, MIR freshman at WSU, have few experiences ..." I closed the file when i was done and move straight ahead
"Follow me" I commanded 
I took Emily to the dress section first which wasn't really far from where we stood and then took the elevator with Vanessa up to the second floor where the makeup unit was  and after that went to my table to rest for a bit
VANESSA'S POV
  "Urrmm, hi everyone" I said  as soon as Laura  went out and closed the door behind, i saw a few nods while some others turned and got back to their work because they were some customers which they were attending to, i saw someone approaching me, she looked asian
"Annyeong" She said as she got to me 
"Huh?" I replied, confused by the unfamiliar greeting. 
"Sorry, I meant Hi, that was Korean, i thought maybe you'll understand it" She explained
"Nah, no problem" 
"I'm Kim Woosung by the way, Kim for short"
"Wow" I said amazed
"What? I talk too much right, people say that alot" She said with a smile
"No not that, I've never personally met a Korean before and best of it you speak English fluently"I said still surprised
"Oh, well i stayed in Washington most of my life and my mum's american, soooo"
"Oh yeah right, but you do speak korean?"
"Yes i do, i travel over there alot to see my grandparents since i was a kid, so i got you learn from them "
"Nice..." I said smiling
"Sorry, I'm Vanessa Holland, from Australia, born and raised in Seattle"
"Nice to meet you" She said warmly
"So how's work?" I asked
"It's great just that they're no much customers now  but i bet you'll love it here, wait you're the new staff right?"
"Yea, of cause"
"Oh okay, just wanted to make sure i was talking to the right person" She joked about which I laughed to 
"Well let me show you around" She offered with a smile which revealed her beautiful set of white teeth and her blonde silky hair matched her skin colour, she was really pretty, now i get what people mean by korean beauty.
EMILY'S POV 
 "Hey  watch it, newbie" I heard someone say as I mistakenly bumped into the person while text walking, it was a girl cause i noticed the dark  curly long hair 
"You bumped into me not the other way round you know" I lied cause I was irritated by her lash of tongue, I heard her scoff then she gave reply
"I think you should get a new pair of eyes cause obviously you're yours aren't working normally again" 
"Look who's talking, you need to shop for manners cause you don't have any"  I said and grin but before she could throw a comeback she was called to attend to a customer 
"Sasha!!! you are needed here" the voice said from the counter which made her huff and left, what a way to make an impression in first day just cause of one miscreants who has a dumb name. 
  I hung around there a bit and assisted some of my colleagues so I could learn a thing or two, by the time we were done attending to a ton of customers it was already dismissal time in the evening. I follow the others and went out towards the direction i came in to find Nessa so we could go home, we had some assignments to be done.
   I didn't find her anywhere in the lobby and her phone wasn't going through so I went towards the parking lot to check, to my surprise, i saw Logan coming out as well heading for his car, i really didn't want to but I had to call him, Nessa would be happy to see him on her first day, he answered right immediately and came towards my direction
"Hey... Logan" i said
"Hi, first day?" 
"Yeah" 
"So how was it, made new friends?" Came his question again which made me laugh
"I made an enemy rather than a friend" 
"Yeah typical, i don't see Vanessa anyway she left already?" He asked but i choose to ignore his first comment 
"Urrrmmm, right, there she is" I pointed down to where she came down from  and waved so she could see us 
"Hi Logan" She greeted him first and got a hug in return 
"How was it, you liked it?" he directed to Nessa this time 
"Good I guess, wait what are you doing here again, looks like you're stalking us or something" she said with a visible smile
"Geee  Logan that's true" i  concord with her question 
"Nope is not like that, I came to see Robert but he wasn't in"
"The manager? You know him how?"  I questioned 
"Emily let's don't go into that now okay, i know you girls will be tired, so let me offer you both a ride, would that do?" 
"Sure, why not" I said with a raised voice and moved to direction of his car. Getting close there I saw a familiar face and had to yell her name 
"SASHA!!!"  she turn after that and I give her the finger and let out a hysterical laugh, by then Vanessa and Logan we're already standing behind me
"Who's that?" Came Vanessa question 
"Oh just a girl at my unit who despise me for no goddam reason"
"Wow you've already made an enemy on your first day, congrats" Vanessa jokingly said while chuckling 
"Logan let's hit the road, i'm tired" I said and got inside the car
"You've got any assignments?" I asked Nessa over dinner
"Nope, just the group work which I ain't leading"
"Awwww, I'm jelly..." I said and made a pouty face 
"I have a ton of them and I'm already tired, could you ..." 
"No way Mily, I'm already tired and besides i'm not in your department" she replied cutting me off
"You didn't even let me finish what if that's not what they wanted asking you, huh?" 
"Well we both know that's what you wanted to ask so I had to opt out before you say it" she replied smiling
"Nessa, that's not fair i'm your bestie" I made my pouty face again
"And I'm tired you need to understand that babe" 
"Arrgghhh" I groaned frustratedly 
"Let me give you an idea maybe you could call Logan to assist you, you know" she offered giggling
"I'll pass... wait why are you with my phone" i asked suspiciously
"To put in his number obviously, you're going to thank me later trust me"she said again and gave a cheeky smile.
