AUTHOR'S POV 
 Raymond Perkins, a twenty year old second year college student of Stanford, who was once the most celebrated during his highschool years, in football, debate, quiz competition etc and was even nominated and won the prom king title. 
 His family are well known around various countries, but mostly Seattle, he's the second child among his two other siblings, Daryl Perkins (his older brother) and Ashley Perkins(his younger sister). His girlfriend from highschool, Alison Delaware which he broke up with during his first year in college won the prom queen title, and that brings about Vanessa Holland, the first girl he met on his arrival day during their 7th grade 
 They became friends, really good friends at that, but during their 12th grade feelings erupted, they once shared a kiss but that was it, he wanted things to go back as they were and not destroy the friendship bond which they shared  cause he was already dating Alison since 11th grade and want to break that aswell 
 Vanessa played along cause she didn't aswell want to lose the only guy friend who was very close to her, but all of a sudden, Raymond appears out of the blue since prom.
VANESSA'S POV
  "Hey bestie, you're back, how was Seattle" Emily said in glee immediately she opened the front door for me, she aswell jumped a hig on me 
"Mily I'm fine, let go, it was just for a week" I said while trying to push her off on the process 
"Yea, i know and i missed you regardless, it was a hella week for me" she replied while detaching herself from my body 
"Okay, so how's work going?" I asked
"Work's fine, everyone's fine, the store's fine but put me through on how the trip went" She asked again, pulling me to sit on the couch
"Fine, good, everything's great" I lied tryna force a smile
"But you don't seem any of those words you voiced out right now, what's really going on?" She asked calmly this time, more concerned 
If i should say that's one thing about Emily, she could easily see through someone lies and know whenever i try lie my way out of any situation
"C'mon Nessa, just spit it out" she persuaded 
"Okay..." I took a deep breath before spitting it all out and showing her the picture evidence as well 
"WHAT THE FUCK!!!" came Emily vexed reaction
"Why did they do that huh? Couldn't they have just told you, i mean keeping it all this years wasn't the idle thing to do, and it could cause major damage, just like now" She stated still visibly angry
"I know right, didn't they trust me enough to handle the truth? What if that's actually the reason they're always having issues?" I question
"Nessa how would you say that, of cause you're not a burden to them" 
"I'll try to believe that"I said but didn't get a response from her, it then followed with a weird quietness around the room until she spoke
"I know you're going through a major stuff right now that's why i don't wanna bring up the question why my mum's asking me about who I'm bringing home for thanksgiving" She asked and faced me, i really tried not to give in but i ended up bursting out in laughter 
"I really needed that" I said still laughing, she still waited for my reply
"OK OK, look at what happened, i went to see your mum to send your greetings like you asked, then i kinda told her you're bringing someone over for thanksgiving" i said with another round of laughter
"You did what!!!seriously Nessa?" She reacted better than i expected
"It's not my fault, i had to say something" I said again trying to fake innocence 
"Okay, who did you have in mind when saying that, cause I'm sure they probably would be someone in your mind before you pulled that sorta stunt"  she asked sounding unaware
"Like you don't know who?"
"Who? Logan?" She asked again
"Bingo" I said laughing hysterically
"I told you, i and Logan don't have anything going on" 
"Trust me, you'll be banging by thanksgiving, everyone knows that" i said
"Speaking of everyone, Todd asked after you, told him you're away and would be back today, so we're all hanging out at Tod's by 9pm today" Emily said 
"What about Claire?"
"Fuck that bitch that thinks she's better that everyone else, it's gonna be so great watching you take him from her"  Emily said 
"And why should i do that?" I asked again
"First of all, you need a distraction to get your mind off the current situation, did you tell them yet?"
"Not yet, i knew i was gonna flare if i said anything, so i had to come back here to blow up some steam first" I said
"Perfect, that brings us to the second reason, Todd's super hot and you need to get laid" 
"Seriously Mily, that's a terrible reason" I disagreed
"Ok fine, scratch the third one but you're still doing it, C'mon let's go unpack  cause we need to go shopping for what to wear".
"Hi guys, your special guest has arrived" Emily did this weird intro stuff when she opened the front door, then made way so others could see me
"Hi guys" I simply said and we got in, i got a
"Hi Vanessa" From Logan who stepped forward to give a light hug 
"Hey Em" He said to Mily and gave her a hug as well, followed with a little peck on the cheek
"eer eerm" I cleared my throat a bit to alert them that i was still there
"Looks like I've missed alot while i was away" I said with a little smile while i walked away, I saw Tod with Claire as i passed by, he didn't seem to notice my presence i think, i wonder how Emilys plan gonna work out
"Anyone up for a game of truth or dare?"Gwen asked
"Count me in" Cole replied on his way to the refrigerator to get more drinks I guess
"Yea, me too" Chad said, he was back from his break cause school was  beginning on Monday
"Okay, that means we all are playing, since Chad's in" Alexander said from the side of the room 
"And what's that supposed to mean?" Chad questioned getting a bit furious 
"Guys let's don't bring that here" Logan warned
"Well, i was just saying that I'm up for a game, don't know what's his issue" Chad defended himself
"That's alright" Logan said again, it seems he kinda is the most reasonable amongst the whole guys in here 
"geez guys are we playing or what?" Gwen asked setting the bottle on the floor where we all would gather around, what came to my surprise was that through all this, Claire have been surprisingly quiet and Emily has been with Logan throughout  
'Yea nothing fishy there' i said inwardly with a small laugh
"Yo Vanessa, come sit" Cole invited me over to where he sat and i caught a small glimpse of Todd staring
"You might need this before the game starts" Cole gave me a drink when i sat beside him which i took a sip of, it nearly chocked me but i cleared it out 
"So let's begin, who's starting first?" Gwen asked, Alexander tapped the bottle and replied with a 
"Me" he spun the bottle and it pointed at Logan 
"So Logan, truth or dare?" Alex asked
"Truth" Logan answered
"Whimp, but I'll still ask though, is it true you were called Log-ant for a whole year in middle school" He asked and everyone burst out Laughing
"Where did you hear that from" Logan asked trying to act cool about it 
"I heard rumors, so i had to verify from the main source who happened to be my pal" Alex said and smirked while Logan took a deep breath before he answered
"Well yes, but that was because i pronounced my name weirdly in front of the entire class on my first day of school" He explained but we still found it funny and laughed
"I'll go next" Chad said and spun the bottle, which pointed to Gwen 
"Okay Gwen, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare" She replied
"Give Alex a lap dance" Chad said but she didn't object to it, she just went straight up and did her stuff 
"You go girl" Emily praised once she was done
"Someone's gonna have a boner by now" Cole joked 
"Alex you're good or you wanna blow it off" Todd joked as well but didn't get a reply from Alex 
"I'm next" I said and spun the bottle, it faced Emilys direction 
"Okay Mily, pick up, T or D?"
"Dare" She replied without a slight thought
"Makeout with Logan" I commanded to her surprise but she later did the dare 
"At this rate, you guys are gonna swallow yourselves up" Gwen stated cause they kept kissing for like how many seconds later
 
 Todd later took the bottle and spun it and it ended up on Gwen again 
"Truth or dare Gwen" Todd asked
"Truth" She replied
"Someone's learnt her lesson" Chad made another joke
"OK Gwen, is it true that you gave Darien a blow job last semester?" Todd asked
"You guys are always snooping around aren't you?" She said but still answered
"Yea i did and i didn't regret a thing" she said with a smirk
"Wait, is it the same Darien we all know?" Logan asked
"Yeah, that asshole, why did you do it anyways" Cole asked nonchalantly
"Cause i wanted it, now let's get back to the game" She said 
"I'll go" Claire finally spoke for the first time since i came 
 She spun the bottle and it faced Cole, then she asked and Cole picked dare, said he wasn't a chicken
"I dare you to make out with the person by your left" she said, it took me some second to actually realize that i was the one on his left, Cole turned and faced me, i was shocked she made that sorta dare, the look on Todds face when i took a quick glance at him showed surprise as well 
  Cole did it anyways, but it didn't last for more than five seconds when Todd spoke
"Dude, that's enough, i think she's good" He said and stood up to leave with the excuse of getting a beer 
"What's his problem" Gwen asked an unanswered question.
