EMILY'S POV (continues)
    "Coming" I said and hopped towards the door bell 
"Logan" I snarled and glared towards his direction
"And Chad, I'm here as well " The guy from the first day said
"Yea i figured" I said and dropped him a glance, I saw Vanessa coming from behind and decided not asking the question i intended to 
"Oh hey guys..." She greeted then turned to me
"Urrmm Mily, guess we're done, we should head out now" She said and immediately went out alongside the two guys 
"Yeah why not, acting all bossy" I whispered inwardly and went out 
"Mily i got an idea for the part time job " Vanessa raised her voice against the music blaring in the party
"What about the internship? gave up on that?"
"No but for the main time let's get into something, so i have an idea though it was initiated by someone though"
"Who?"I asked
"Not important now, just here it, there's an opening at a department store, we could apply there if you're up for it " Nessa said
"Hell yea i am " I said again, right now we were already in the kitchen tryna get a drink 
"When are we going to the place" 
"Don't know yet, I'll find out from Logan" she said
"Logan? Seriously Nessa, him again why did you tell him we're looking for jobs " I asked flaring up a bit 
"It's not that big of a deal, cause we needed help and i asked for it and besides we needed someone who knows this place more than we do, 
 i don't get why you make little things seem big" She asked a bit angry herself
"You're always taking things too far, first hanging around then without my knowledge, then telling logan what we discussed, seriously?"
"I wanted saying something just now but i knew you wouldn't agree to it, i understand quite well for Chads case but Logan? babe, what fault does he have?" She defended and i immediately saw Logan coming inside the kitchen from behind her  
"Oh great! Speak of the devil" I said and bumped pass her on my way out
"Emily wait ... " i heard her call 
"Screw you, enjoy your night, I'm out"  she said and walked out of sight and i was already a bit drunk but i think i needed it at that time 
VANESSA'S POV 
 "Did i do anything wrong? She doesn't just like you? " I said to Logan as he drove me back home, with a pounding headache
"She'll come around trust me and besides, did you forget the old saying 'first impression goes a long way', guess i didn't make a good impression when we first met" He said and i heard him laughing it off  after saying it
"Now i remember, when are we applying at the department store?" I asked the question that brought the fight between i and Emily
"Anytime this week before the spot gets taken"
"Okay thanks ..." I opened the door to puke cause we were already at our apartment building
"Ohhkay, let me get you inside before you make a huge mess here" He said and came out of his side of the car to help me out 
"Emily i still don't get why you're vexed with me, i did nothing wrong" 
  I and Mily were involved in a conversation on monday afternoon, after our morning classes
"You know I don't catch Logan's vibe but you still hang around with him" She voiced out for the first time since our conversation
"That's why you're all upset? What's not to like about him anyways, he's cute, he's funny and he's smart as well" I listed
"Sounds like you already have a crush already" Emily said and smirked
"I wish but too bad i don't feel him that way, we're only friends and he respects that" i said to her sulky face 
"I'm sorry okay and if it could make up for it, at least he got us a job vaccany " I reminded
"Yea about that, when are we supposed to go?" She asked
"This week latest, but I'll suggest today cause you know we aren't really piled up"
"Today it is then, you know the address?" She agreed
"Yea of cause"
"BEAUTY AND ELEGANCE"Emily voiced out loud 
"Nice name right?" My question was left unanswered as we walked into the huge store, it was really a department store, all the segments  were listed out in the main lounge and the route to follow
"Hi ladies, anything we could get for you?" asked one of the salesclerk over the counter 
"No we didn't come to get anything, we're here for the vacancy" I replied her
"Okay, come this way please" She directed and led us inside which we followed like two lost puppies, after the elevator came to a halt, we took a few more steps to the right and were now faced directly in front of the managers office
"Wait here" The lady said, knocked a bit, then went inside, we waited outside for a few minutes before she came out and ushered us in 
'Robert Smith, head manager' was the name i saw on the mans table as we  walked in
"Ladies, have a sit" He said gesturing to the two chairs infront of his table 
"I heard you both are here for the vacancy right?" He asked and we replied with a chorused
"Yes sir "
"Okay, i have alot to work on, so I'll go straight to the point, there's an opening in the makeup and clothing unit, do you girls think you're up for it?" he asked again, we were silent for a bit  which made him ask
"Or would you like to think it over?" 
"No sir, we're up for it, right Nessa?" Emily sharply replied which made me turn to her immediately
Right Nessa?" She asked again and that snapped me from whatever I was thinking
"Yes yes, right, the makeup unit would do for me" i answered
"Meaning I'll go for the clothing unit then" Emily added 
"Great, then you'll start tomorrow, afternoon shifts, would that do?"
"Yes sir of cause" Emily answered the middle aged man on our behalf 
"Submit your résumé tomorrow" He added
"Yes sir, would do so" i answered and we were free to go 
"That was quick"Mily commented as soon as we left the office and walked down the halls 
"I almost choked in there when you asked that, it was so sudden and the  best part is that he didn't ask any questions like i thought he would" 
"Who cares about that, we've got jobs now bitch" Emily celebrted quietly which got me laughing 
"Shit we didn't discuss the pay" Reminded her 
"We'll do that tomorrow when submitting the résumé, remember he said he had alot yo do?"
"Right that's true, now i remembered, we should pick somethings up for dinner,we don't really have alot there again" I suggested and Mily was about replying but my phone rang which brought her to a halt 
"Sorry let me take this... " I said to Mily  before picking up 
"Hey Logan, wassup?" I replied to his greeting and caught a roll of Mily's eyeballs
"Are you girls done from the store?" His question came in 
"Yeah we're just coming... Wait a sec, how did you know we went there today" I asked obviously surprised
"I made a call, but that isn't important stay where you are, I'll come get you, I'm close by" 
"But Logan..." He cut me off mid statement as he hung up
"Urrrmm  Emily" i called
"Yeah?"
"I think we should wait up a few minutes" I said but she didn't ask why, rather she kept a questioning gaze on me so i continued
"Logans coming to pick us up" 
"You told him wee mm were here?" She asked getting visiblely angry
"No did you hear me say that? apparently he knew someone here i guess" i said which calmed her down a bit 
"And oh i forgot to tell you but, be he's in his third year studying Economics "i said again
"Hmm nice course" She simply said 
Few minutes later I saw logans car drive through the  parking lot
"Vanessa, Emily" He said as he got to where we were, then we got inside 
"How was your hungover?" He asked me but it did seem weird, i answered though and he zoomed off in the process.
