VANESSA'S POV
 "Mily did you call your Mum?" I asked cause we all were about heading out to Westlake park to see the already lit Christmas tree, Caroline and her kids as well but Marie bailed out, she said something about meeting up with her family for church or something
"Yea i did, she said I'll meet them there since we're going same direction" Emily replied referring to Westlake park 
"Cool then, let's head out"Mum instructed and we all responded by moving towards the door
 Everyone looked beautiful under the Christmas light and the tree was really high above us 
"Mum, Dad" Emily called out to her parents which she had been searching for and was about moving towards them when Caroline yelled in surprise
"Logan? Is it really you?" She voiced out in utter dismay as she looked the direction where he stood, he walked towards us seconds later, leaving a little boy and a lady who seems to be his Mum behind
"Hi?" He greeted questionable, he didn't seem to look anywhere else, he just had his gaze fixed on Caroline with a scruning eyes 
"Do i know you from anywhere? You look awfully familiar" Came his words
"Seriously? You don't seem to remember the girl you got pregnant and ditchedjust to travel to Australia?" Caroline said a bit loud cause I'm pretty sure everyone heard 
"Oh this is getting juicy, i need to stay for just few minutes" Emily whispered beside me 
"Nope, that's not happening, can't you see your parents are waiting? And you're obviously keeping them" I persuaded so she could leave 
"Fine, but you'll tell me everything that went down" She said again
"Agreed, now scram" I jokingly said which she laughed to  and left, i then  focused my attention back to the drama that was playing right in front of me 
"Or was there someone else after me?" Caroline asked again
"Of cause not, I recall you now, you looked alot prettier now that's why i didn't seem to remember" He said, everyone's interest wasn't in the convo again aside from I and Caroline
"Enough with the petty talks Logan, there's someone you should meet" I think she said that referring to me
"Meet your daughter, Vanessa" she announced, Logan looked stunned, a little thrown off 
"Wow how... how did it happen?" He asked while gazing at me in the process
"Oh let me think, there was a certain dumbass who got a girl pregnant and when she told him she told him, he said he wasn't ready for that and flew all the way to Australia, the certain girl didn't hear from him again, even one bit" Caroline narrated 
"Oh really? That story sounds really familiar, i think i remember it now" Logan said, i think he was tryna make a joke or something
"Logan enough with your silly games, can see you're still an asshole, we're adults now and we've got tons of responsibilities to take care of, maybe you don't but i do" Caroline voiced out obviously tired of the way he spoke  
"Well here's your kid" She introduced me again
"My what?" He asked looking astonished like hr didn't hear her say it few minutes ago  
"You kept the pregnancy? Thought you'll take it out"he asked again looking confused 
"Sorry to burst your little bubble but i didn't, it's time to take responsibility for your actions, no matter how it would affect your career DOC" She said ending sarcastically 
"And can i say, you didn't even for once try to find me or even check if I'm still alive or something, and what the hell are you even doing here in Seattle?" Caroline asked a bit angry
"We're here for the holidays, Caleb said it should be in Seattle" Logan said, his voice sounded collected like he was in no form of tension at all 
"Calab?" Caroline asked inquiring who that was 
"My son, his over there with my wife Rhea" Logan made it known
"Your son? Wow!!!" Caroline exclaimed
"I can see you've got kids as well, wasn't i supposed to have one?" Came his question again and their exchange of words continued
"Glad you two are catching up, but can you get this over with? My PARENTS are waiting and i don't like keeping them, let me make my intro and swing out, clearly you two have a lot to catch up on" I interupted them while making emphasis on the parent 
"Oh urrmm, okay go ahead then" He gave an approval that wasn't even necassary 
"I go by the name Vanessa, I'm an English major at WSU, I'm 19 turning 20 next month, yoyyou could've known that but decided i'll be a hinderance in your life even before i was born, what else... Oh yeah, funny thing i just found out few months ago that i was adopted and my said to be parents didn't even want me in the first place, i guess that's all" I concluded about to take my leave but my name was called 
"Vanessa wait" Logan said which made me stop on my tracks but i didn't turn yet 
"I did a shitty thing there's no doubt about that, but i was young and disoriented,  didn't know what my actions could lead to and No, you weren't a hindrance... Well i wasn't there then so i wouldn't say you were" He came to a halt 
"But i can totally make it up to you now, anyhow possible" he said again when i was about speaking
"How possibly is that when you already have a wife and a son, who would you introduce me as cause u wouldn't want to ruin the image if the great surgeon, Logan Young" I said sarcastically as i turned 
"Okay fine, we're gonna do it this way, I'll send my address to you two, so we can talk this over, by noon tomorrow you two can show up and yeah, my wife and son would be present"
"Sounds good,I'll be there" Caroline voiced out
"Yeah, sure whatever" I said as well
"I'll take my leave now, you can get my number from her" I told Logan referring to Caroline
LOGAN'S POV 
 "Who were those guys you were with?" Rhea asked immediately i returned
"Oh urmm it was an old friend from school" I simply answered not wanting to elaborate 
"Oh" 
"Well i kinda invited them over for lunch tomorrow, hope that's fine by you?" I asked for her approval
"Totally, any friend of yours is a friend of mine" She replied, but i think she'll rethink that by tomorrow
"Mum someone's at the door" I heard Calebs voice from my room, and i wondered who that could be cause we don't really have visitors since we got here, some few minutes later, i came to a realization on who that could be and hurriedly moved down, Rhea had already usherd her in and she was sitting at the sitting room, it seemed Caroline arrived before Vanessa, i sat as well
"Hi" Rhea said breaking the sudden silence that was already building
"Where are my manners, i forgot to introduce myself, My name's Caroline Hart, the CEO of Beauty and Elegance" She said
"Wow that's nice, but i don't think I've heard of that brand before"Rhea replied her
"Well that's cause we don't have a branch in Australia yet, but I'm working on that" She said again
"Didn't know you own your own business" I said to her
"Oh Logan, there's alot you don't know about me cause you decided to go MIA" she said to me smiling and i think Rhea saw that
"How do you two know yourself again?" Rhea asked 
"We were friends back in highschool" I answered swiftly
"Jeez Logan, friends? No we were more than that we dated back then before he moved to Australia"
"Wow" Rhea said looking both surprised and shocked at the same time and just immediately the door bell rang 
"That must be Vanessa, let me get it" I said and stood up to leave when Rhea made a comment
"Would that be another girlfriend of yours you didn't tell me about?" She commented sarcastically
"Oh honey trust me, it's far from that"I then heard Caroline reply her as i was close to the door 
  Opening the door, Vanessa stood there waiting to come in, I didn't really have a proper look at her yesterday, but I'm doing that right now, she looks like an exact copy of Caroline but she has my eyes and hair colour 
"Hi can i come in? I said Merry Christmas but didn't get a reply"  
"Oh sorry, it seems i drifted off, come inside" i said moving out of the way for her 
"Hi, Merry Christmas" She said to Rhea and Caroline once she entered the sitting room
  Vanessa looked a lot happier today more than yesterday, they all said the seasons greeting
"So Vanessa, you didn't say how you two know yourself" Rhea asked referring to me 
"Well it's a pretty long story but..."
"Who's hungry, it's time for lunch?" I interrupted Vanessa so she wouldn't spill the bean just yet 
"Yeah that's kinda true, we need to go now" Rhea said getting up from where she sat 
 After lunch, i decided that I had to tell her everything before it comes out from some other person in the room 
"Urrrmm Rhea..." 
"Huh?" I called which she answered to 
"There's something you should know, I'm very sorry to have hidden it from you but  i wasn't fully aware of it either" I tried explaining myself on our way to the sitting room 
"Go on" She urged 
"Okay, remember when Caroline said we dated back in highschool right?" I asked for clarity purpose
"Yes, why?" 
"Well something actually came out from that relationship, like something or someone found life from that" I said twisting it in any possible way 
"Logan j don't get you, what do you mean?" She asked looking totally confused
"What I'm trying to say is that i have a daughter" I dropped the bomb
"WHAT!!!" Came her exclaimation 
"I don't get, you didn't tell me?" She looked pretty angry
"Well like i said, i just found out yesterday, so how could i have known?" 
"I have a sister?" Caleb asked speaking for the first time looking all giddy 
"Go to your room Cal" I ordered
"Why should he? He should stay and listen to everything, we shouldn't hide anything from him, like yourself" Rhea lashed out 
"And can i simply ask, who's this daughter of yours?" 
"She's actually..." Was about talking but Vanessa beat me to it 
"Hi, i think I introduced myself wrongly" she drew Rhea attention to herself 
"I'm Vanessa Holland, daughter of Logan Young and Caroline Hart, though they birthed me, they never did act as a parent towards me" She said boldly  
"Cool i have a sister" Caleb happily said  and went to her direction 
"You're pretty" He said
"Awwww thanks bro, you look awesome as well, Merry Christmas" Vanessa replied him
"Anyways, Rhea right?" She asked directing to my wife 
"Yeah"
"I can't see that you're pretty mad right now but you don't have to take it all on him, i doubt he was collected back then as he is now and didn't know his actions would have repercussions, but as long as he's sorry and wouldn't do a thing like that again, then it's all good, right dad?" She asked making emphasis on the dad
"Urrmm yeah yeah, sure, wait you aren't mad at me again Vanessa?" I asked really surprised
"Yeah, i mean What's the point, that was in the past, the past should remain in the past and besides i have great parents who would do anything for me but if you want, we can just call it a Christmas miracle" She praised
"Okay then, that's good to know and honey, I'm sorry, it won't repeat itself" I apologized one final time.
