Feelings can be the craziest thing in a teen's life. Sometimes, it is more difficult to control, and even when one is trying to control it, some circumstances make it linger, thereby making it difficult to control. Andrew was in this deep situation, as his forbidden feelings for Caleb were one he was looking forward to getting rid Of, but it just did not seem to work out. It was like a magnet introduced to a magnetic field. The attraction only becomes stronger, making it more of a web for Andrew. He has met Caleb along his way to an empty class as he confessed he wanted to spend more time with Andrew. They ended up talking, as Caleb's soft voice only brought simmerings of warmth in Andrew's body as he accepted. They both sat on chairs facing each other, a few inches between them. Andrew could hardly concentrate as he kept getting mesmerized by the handsome young man In front of him. Rachael stood for a while noticing them, as she began observing. It finally hit Rachael that their friend might probably be attracted to the same sex. His eyes dilate and his eyes brighten as Caleb spoke. Rachael simply left rumbling her head over her new thought. It was now obvious to Rachael why he never mentioned ever having feelings for the opposite sex. Rather, he would become nervous, and somehow it would slide. But it was still weird to Rachael as she does not want to believe this. If her thinking was true, that means Andrew is struggling in controlling his feelings toward the same sex. It must have been challenging for him,' Rachael thought, feeling down slightly. She was not true and if it was, she hope he would rather control his feelings toward the same sex and not give in to them. It is a big challenge, a battle. A battle against a forbidden feeling. Feelings that sprang up without your consent, thus making you stuck with it. Rachael finally decided to empty her mind as she headed towards her class. ..... Caleb continued joking around, as Andrew laughed heartily. He was more than happy spending time with him since it has been a while they had talked in person. Andrew felt glued, his breath hitching especially when they are only few inches away from each other. It only gives Andrew bad thoughts within his mind. "You just keep smiling and they look great on you. You laugh, smile always as if you do not have any problem. I admire you, "Caleb stated, as Andrew's heart sank slightly. If only he could tell out the sadness in his heart. Each weekend, he is faced with his stepfather who would do anything to tempt him into lying down with him. Not to talk of his constant threats, his days elapsing soon, as he has to make a decision. Not to talk of the Weird feeling haunting him. Everything feels disheartening to him. "Life has its ups and downs, problems, and what pulls us down sometimes. I later realized these problems have both positive and negative effects, to make or mar you." "It is now left to go with the positive vibe. Putting on smile on one's face and being positive that everything will be alright. As teenagers, we keep sinking in feelings, improper thoughts that we are struggling to keep off. They are all problems, and steering clear from them is the best thing ever, being confident and putting on a smile that we will get past that bloom of youth." Andrew explained as Caleb smiled. "I am impressed. It still brings me to wonder why parents believed that their teenage sons and daughters do not have problems and they can do well without sweating it." "It is normal. Maybe they feel teenagers can be independent and deal with some problems themselves. But as teenagers, telling our parents how we feel can go a long way. Who knows if they might have passed through the same challenges we went through during their time." "Nah, I will rather keep my problems to myself or share them with my peers. My parents have trust issues and might start looking at me with one kinda eye, just because I mentioned that I have gotten drunk different times. I hope you get," Andrew simply nodded, getting where Caleb was coming from. "Parents can be like that, but trust me that they might be the best source of advice when it comes to life issues. You just have to give them a chance. The more you talk to them, the more bond you create, and the less they doubt or began to mistrust you," Andrew countered, as Caleb shook his head. "Okay, if you say so. I am not sure my parents can be like that. They are quite paranoid sometimes. Before my sister began dating at age 22, they had their long pairs of eyes, monitoring her every move, I do hope you can always be the one I can talk to." Andrew smiled at Caleb's words, wondering why he was quite sarcastic with his words about his parents. Somehow, he wished his parents were still alive. "Your parents are just caring. You have not seemed to understand and tame them the right way. As for your sister, they are just trying not to prevent any issue that might cause her to make a mistake she might later regret. And I am always free if you need someone to talk to."Andrew clarified. Caleb's phone rang as he brought it out, and a message popped up. He sigh as he put his phone in his back pocket. "I have something important I want to tell you. It has been disturbing me for a while now, which will take me at least free if I should tell you," Caleb looked sideways as he talked.
Somehow, Andrew felt something was wrong, and probably has to deal with the message he just received. " I hope there is nothing wrong. And you are free to tell me what is going on in your mind." Caleb simply chuckled, as he patted Andrew's shoulder. "I am heading somewhere around the school now. Before the break runs off, I will be here to tell you about it." Andrew nodded, as Caleb left. He simply looked on as he strolled out. Andrew bit his lips slightly, as he felt a bit of dryness in his mouth. He could not help but try to imagine what could possibly go wrong. It was not up to fifteen minutes when a message popped up on his screen. "Kindly meet me near the school football field, where the lockers are located"Andrew read out the message wondering why Caleb would want to see him in such an isolated part of the school which is meant for relaxation and those playing football. He stood up as he walked out of the empty class, heading downstairs toward the location Caleb left in his message. He stopped on his track as he checked his phone, which was a message from Rachael. "Please meet me at the school library before break ends," Andrew sighed as he began juggling in his mind whom he would go to first. After weighing the pros and cons together, he decided to see Caleb first. After all, he was the first person who send the message. His heartbeat as he reached the place which seem rather quiet. He moved closer as he began hearing rustling sounds as well as moanings. He decided to quieten his curiosity but was shocked by the sight that met his face. Inside the closet, with the opened door was Caleb making out. Was this what he wanted to say to him. That was when he got back to the message. It was probably a setup or was it not? He felt stuck in his position, feeling as if air has left him. Vibrations seemed down his body just at the sight. At that moment, he regretted having that Weird feeling.
