Seated in his office, he had gone to his locker by the side to bring something, something he definitely wants to show me. He didn't take up to a minute before returning back to his seat opposite me, his table separating us.
“ This are the list of those who wants to buy the office you've put up for sale, knowing that they wasn't the only ones bidding, most of them made a higher offer, so it's left for you to decide whom you wish to sell it to....”
He had kept the list on the table, so I took it to have a closer look at the offers. I can tell that something else was bothering him, but I just have to wait till he brings it up. “ So, can I ask why you're trying to sell your office or should I still watch my boundaries?.....”
I looked up at him, he was staring at me, showing that what I had said yesterday has really hurt him, it wasn't actually my intention, but he shouldn't stick his nose in some matters that wasn't relating to him. With a smile on my face, wanting to reduce the tension on the air, I decided to speak out with a pleading tone. “ You know that I didn't actually mean it like that yesterday, you're just overreacting buddy..... Okay I am really sorry for being harsh about that yesterday, just that I hate it when people speak confidently about something they know nothing about....”
I was looking at him, to see whether there would be a change in his expression, just like I thought, there was. He turned to me his eyes looking soft than it was seconds ago. “ So tell me, what's your plans this time, why do you want to sell your office?...” he asked. 
With a deep breath and exhale, I decided to share the details. “ I don't plan on using it again like I used to, I now want to do my writings while traveling across towns in my vehicle, maybe countries, but staying one place, it feels like my ideas are stuck in one place as well....”
I shared the details with him, I can see the way he was gently nodding his head slowly, like he grabbed my point exactly the way I had it in my mind. “ I agree with you on that, you really need some travelling around for positive and new ideas in your contents, nice idea, really admiring....”
I smiled at his compliment, I wasn't planning on getting any, but now I got one, it felt like I did deserve it. “ Turns out it was a good plan to sell the office, I want you to process the work, I'll be selling to the highest bidder....”
I informed him, got up from where I sat and was about to leave but decided to ask him a question. “ You got plans for tomorrow?.... It's weekend.” I was expecting a no, but unfortunately for me, he told me that he had a date tomorrow, looking from the plans I had, I don't think the combination would work, I think I would be going on my own.
“ Any reason for asking?....”
He asked me, I just said no, that I was just asking as a friend, but it's not it actually, my plans was to go for a hiking trip today, but since he got in the way with a meeting, I am now planning on going tomorrow, but he's going on a date and had already made plans, best I just go by myself like I wanted to, maybe write some chapters on the mountain, because I would be going with my laptop.
After I have left his law firm and driving on the road, something was going through my mind. I know that I don't want to live in a house for now, I had made up my mind to just be driving around and sleep in any hotel close by, but was that really the best option?.
The fact was that I'm not going to be using the apartment much after getting it, but I'll be paying for the rent, it feels like wasting money, but living in a hotel might become a habit, one you shouldn't get to become your normal, maybe I could just get the apartment, somewhere to call my home, somewhere to drive back to, than just being a vagabond on my own City.
I took up my phone, drove and packed by the side of the road and texted Ryan, I asked him to search for an apartment for me, that's his work, though he wasn't an official personal assistant, but I believe I am definitely his client that pays the most, his weekly salary worths the load of work I give him, so he should just help me out, not just professionally, but also as a friend.
Having planned how I would be spending my Day tomorrow, I went on to get the equipments required, a hiking outfit, snacks to chew on, one that wouldn't be of any disadvantage to my diet, a good sneaker and other things, looking from the picture of all I am going to get, I definitely wouldn't be packing all this in the car all day, and even for the fact my car was a private car that doesn't have a lot of space inside, I definitely need an apartment.
Going into the store to get all this, I was almost about getting done with things I am picking, just looking for a nice pair of sneakers and a lot of snacks that would be good for me, I happened to come across a familiar figure, she was about heading out, it was the girl I asked out at the club house, the waitress that rejected me, cracking my brain, thinking on whether to approach her or not, leaving my goods behind to go meet her, I think it's not worth it, best to let her be on her way.
