She introduced herself as Daisy, that's a nice name, though it's not quite rare around here, but it suits her most, like she was made to go by the name, I would've voiced out the compliment of how her name was made for her considering the level of her beauty, but I don't want her to see this like trying to impress her or stuff, not something I do, I don't impress people intentionally, might possibly happen without my concentration but doing it intentionally is a no no.
Her presence gave me a reason to stick around, I can't get to convince myself what I want with her yet, but just realizing that the girl I wanted to fuck with on our first meeting happened to as well be my young friend's sister, it feels like I almost broke the bro code, funny right?.
Brian wanted more than they was doing, throwing the plastic on the air to each other, he didn't voice it out, I know he was the outspoken type, but for reasons unknown to me, he's just accepting to participate in what he saw without debating.
Brian was adventurous, he would want and love something thrilling and exciting, something adventurous and risky, but it seems like Daisy can't offer him that, probably because they're tight on cash, guessing because I know Daisy's job as a waitress, she possibly can afford what Brian might want, but maybe something is holding them back from taking the chance.
“ Anyone wanna try the rollercoaster?....”
Just as I expected, I can see the brightness on Brian's face, like that was exactly what he wanted, but still, he had to turn to Daisy, like her approval was needed, I can see her giving him a slight nod, showing that he can possibly accept the offer from me, that's when Brian then reacted to the offer by jumping on the air like he just hit a jackpot, what are friends for when they don't know what each other wants?.
Daisy never wanted to participate, but I made her join, my gentleness was persuasive enough to drag her to tag along. That's one of the tricks I learnt from Karl, whenever he wants to break your guard down, he because gentle, making his speech sound like a request rather than a command, said with a low toned voice that have this positive effect on the brain, like he was tampering with them but in a soft manner.
“ Are you scared?.....” I asked, Brian didn't allow me to finish my question as he shakes his head, signalling no. I wasn't actually asking him, with the excitement on his features, you can possibly tell that this young boy doesn't have the word fear in his dictionary.
She didn't answer the question, possibly because she didn't know that the question was meant for her, “ I'm not asking you brave young Man, one could tell you know no fear....” that's when Daisy turned around looking at me, realizing that the question was actually hers, I was staring into her eyes, showing her that if she was, I'll be here to protect her.
” I don't think I am now....”
She replied, a smile on her face, so contagious that it brought one onto my lips. Finding her hand, I held it, squeezing it gently as we waited for the rollercoaster to start, other passengers still making their entrance into the ride.
“ You hit the Gym today?....” I asked, trying to strike up a conversation, Brian looked up at me, giving me that confused stare, thinking that the question was meant for him, quite sorry that the attention wouldn't be on him this time, rather on Daisy, whom I am attracted to. Daisy definitely saw the way Brian had looked at me, making her smile, more like a grin because it was more open lips.
“ Yeah.... I don't skip, always taking my workouts serious, more like a meal of the day for me....”
“ Then I guess it's the same time as the last time, around noon?....”
She just nodded her head, but still decided to answer with words as if she wasn't contented with the signature answer. “ I'm usually working out at noon, that's my normal routine or I can say it's the only time I can spare, since I work on mornings and nights....”
I guess that's why I don't see her at the gym, I always work on the morning before proceeding with daily activities before noon, but she starts by noon because that's the only affordable time she's got. I can feel the rollercoaster gently moving in motion, about to start the ride, I felt a hand grip my shoulders gently, making me to look back, it was an excited Ryan, definitely having a special night with his woman by his side, he just winked at me like he knew the chemistry going on between me and Daisy, oh God, he's just getting me notified that he saw me, because this was going to become a conversation later.
The drive was all about screaming out of fear and excitement, the look of happiness on Brian's face broke all the ice I was holding onto, his wide smile that reaches his eyes, opening his mouth wide, mixed with shouting and laughter, holding onto the handle before him and enjoying the thrilling speed, how I missed a feeling like this, the last time I had this drive was with Daniel beside me, Jessica was downstairs watching, she was heavily pregnant with Marie then, almost on her ninth month.
The scenario of the past got my eyes wet, despite been on a high speed, all I could think of was Daniel holding onto me, he wanted to sit by my side and security measures were increased by me, but those big eyes staring at my face, the fearful look in his eyes like he has all his trust in me, those moments I can never move on from.
