I'm sorry if this happens only to me out of all the Men out there, just speaking from what's going inside my mind. You don't leave the child for the Man, that's a clue, not that we wouldn't offer care and responsibility, but inside my head, that's not the deal, the deal here is adventure.
I quite notice that Men treat kids like their fellow grownups, especially the boys. I have that joy in my heart that we're gonna do whatever the fuck we want now that Daisy wasn't around to stop us, last time, she was the reason we had to suspend our hike, she got in the way, but this time, she gave me the almighty authority, look after your friend, oh God, how much I crave for an opportunity like this, today's gonna be our day, no one's getting in between.
Going to the guest room, I knocked on the door, opening up. I thought he was asleep, rather I saw him running to hide something, but looking up and seeing it was me, he smiled and brought it out. “ Good morning Jer, can I call you that?.... My sister calls you that?....”
“ Only If you would accept me to call you Bri?....” I suggested, knowing what his reaction would probably be. He made that eewww face, like he despise the suggestion. “ I prefer to be called Brian, I love my name just the way it is, don't understand why people change their names to abbreviation.....”
“ You'll get to understand buddy, but about calling me Jer, only your sister can call me that.... I prefer being called Jerome in full too my anyone.....” I explained, a smile on my face, could tell how contagious it was, because he too started with the wide smile, turning to a grin. I bet he now understand.
“ You know you shouldn't go through your sister's stuff, she wouldn't like it....” 
“ Not when they're books written by you.... I read them to actually understand how you think, I want to be like you, so I am getting myself to learn any stuff related to you....”
Should I admit that I'm impressed or just tell him it doesn't worth going through his sister's stuff?, That was a huge compliment he gave me, yet not knowing the weight of information he just dropped. I never like him going through his sister's stuff, it's like he's breaching my own privacy too, but I don't have to spoil the fun now, I'll have to explain in details for him later, but for now, we do exactly the thing I have in mind, fishing.
I knew he would love it, the excitement on his face when I told him we would be going fishing was beyond the explanation with words, his feelings were high, like that of Daisy when she realizes that we're about to jump down from the aircraft in a skydiving activity.
Equipment is what we should worry about, we would get them along the driveway, but right now his high feelings were kind of a booster to my morale of going for this, even though I knew he loves adventures, I never knew whether he was scared of the river or not, so this was kind of a notification, as well as a heads up to know his reactions.
“ Here's something I want you to remember incase it gets out of my mind..... When we start fishing, just try to remember for me that I've something important to share with you.....you hear?.....” I asked, making him nod his head repeatedly in acceptance.
We already got all the stuff required to go fishing, I planned for us to stay in the water with a boat, but I believe it was too risky for him, I don't know his abilities towards swimming, so I would just take the responsible chances I have got to take.
It's been minutes already, both of our hooks still inside the water, as well as the bait to catch it. We were looking at the boats in the water, sitting away from the water. People were having fun, driving around with their boats, the sight admiring that I am beginning to consider whether to get a boat after this experience. 
The motion of the boats wasn't disturbing, not the kind that will chase away the fishes, but incase we don't catch any, there's no problem with that, but even though, I really did want to catch one, that would be an achievement for me today. 
“ You said you wanted to share with me something.....”
He spoke out, face turning my side, eyes away from the actions going on the water and fixing at me. I never really forgot them, I was just waiting for the right moment to bring them up, when it wouldn't affect our relaxed mood, but since he did bring it up now, I guess it's about time I dive into it.
“ I wanted to let you know, to tell you that if you need anything, you can just ask me, we'll look into it, I don't want you to continue going through your sister's stuff just to find stuff related to me, I'm always here if you wish to find me and ask me anything, you're one of the lucky ones that got the advantage to see me closely, so take the chance, ask me about me physically, my books wouldn't actually help you with who I really am, you can see that yourself, my characters and my physical outlook are two different types of people, I hope you understand?.....”
He was just nodding, like those words does pierce through, but seeing his face now, the way he squeezed them and mind seems to be elsewhere, I guess I should brace myself because questions are coming, speaking from her type of questions, it's mostly those types that get you stuck in thought too, he should bring it on, I'm ready for him.
