Back at the trailer (Susanna's hideout)
November 25th, five days to Thanksgiving...
Susanna was prepared and ready to begin executing her plans. All the arrangements have been made, the mansion has been infiltrated and most importantly for her mission to succeed she planted certain explosives in different secluded parts of the mansion walls and two inside the mansion, ready to be detonated so Cherry never escapes a single blast. Susanna is so ruthless with her plans that she never considers if every worker in the mansion dies for her selfish cause.
"Hey baby, how have you been? Are you ready to do what you have bee thought all these years? This is the moment you've been waiting for, the moment we've been waiting for. It is the day we take back what has been stolen from us. I promise that Cherry Gilles will see the end of the world by tomorrow." She caresses her weapons like a mother would caress her child's hair. She talked crazy to her weapons, preparing them for the next day.
After she was done admiring her lovely work-charm as she call them, she walked across the room, passing a shaking woman tied to the floor. Susanna went to get a knife from the kitchen and chopped some onions, peppers and vegetables, she used these items to fry some eggs then brought them to the terrified woman and went back to get three slices of bread and water for her.
"Shh... don't be afraid." She scoots to her level and puts on a smile to ease her worries. "I know you are hungry so I made you something. I hope you like it. Eat up, I don't want you falling sick in my care because I won't be able to take you to the hospital." She informs the woman.
When she saw that the woman wouldn't touch the food and kept shivering in the corner she woke up in, Susanna gave up and walked away hoping some space would make the woman cooperative. A few moments later the woman glances around for Susanna but did not find her anywhere. She thinks of the chance to escape but fears what Susanna might do to her when she gets caught. The hunger in her stomach made her stare at the food dictating whether to eat it or not. After much thought, she picked the bread and began eating slowly.
Susanna watched her from a corner somewhere hidden from the woman's sight, after she was done eating Susanna came back to clear the plate.
"What- what do you want with me?" The scared woman asks.
"Oh nothing, I only need you to distract a few people and you can be on your way." Susanna replies her calmly.
"Then why didn't you just ask me."
"If I asked you to distract the Ne's change mansion guards while I blow a hole in the wall would you have listened to me or taken me serious?" Susanna asked and chuckled after a beat "I thought as much. Bambi, you are a sweet young woman and it will be sad to waste away the life of someone so full of life."
"Are you going to hurt me? I promise I won't tell anyone about you, not even the police!" Bambi promised.
"I know you wouldn't but I need you to do something very important and I want to discuss it with you personally."
"I'm listening..." Bambi replies wanting to end this conversation and go home if Susanna won't kill her.
"Now we understand one another! Come on, come!" Susanna outstretched her hand for her to take. Bambi was a little unsettled to accept her hand but she fell for it and Susanna took her to sit on a couch.
"I'm just going to make sure you don't try anything funny while we talk. It will be wrong for this simple conversation to turn bloody." Susanna conversed with Bambi so causal that Bambi wonders if this woman was born with any conscience in her.
"Why do you need me to distract the guards, I am just a nurse employed to watch after Miss Cherry." Bambi tells her.
"How do you get there in the first place?" Susanna asked but Bambi kept quiet. "You don't need to hide anything from me. I know where the mansion is and I can kill everyone there mercilessly but you are the one who changed my mind. So, instead of using violence to get in, I need you to help me get the gates open so I can sneak in."
"I don't have access to the security room-"
"Oh- Bambi!" Susanna gets up from the couch and parades about. "You are only going to delay going inside so I can slip unseen. You will wait for my signal before you walk inside."
"What will the signal be?" She asked.
"You will know on that day." Susanna smirks. "So you will be dropped off by a taxi I will hire and you will do the necessary verification and when the gates start to open, on my signal you will come in and that's when you should take your time to go inside, if possible create a show to distract the guards."
"I don't know-" Bambi frowns unsure of what to do.
"Of course, you can do it, just don't ever think about snitching on me or running away. You know how I got you here?" Susanna ask.
"No."
"You wouldn't even know when I take you down but it will be for good. So will you do it or should I dispose you and get another?" Susanna asked her.
"What are you going to do to me after I help you?" Bambi asked.
"I will let you go! If you play your part well you are free to go. I wouldn't need your service anymore."
"Are you sure you won't kill me?" She asked.
"No, I am a woman of my word. You have my word, just don't mess up." Susanna warns her.
"Okay, I will do it." Bambi accepts her offer.

At the mansion (the roof pool)...
Rex took Cherry again to the swimming pool at the top of one of the mansion wings for some quality time and to help Cherry feel relaxed and distracted. Though they could not enter the water because of the chilling weather, they were able to enjoy some alone time until the intercom bell rang followed by the voice of one of Rex's workers.
"Excuse me Cherry, I have to check this." He tells her while they were cuddled quietly on super soft colorful pillows near the pool.
"Okay, I will just wait here." She stretches and moves away with Rex's help.
He leaves her among a cloud of pillows as suggested by Nurse Bambi and covers her body with a fluffy duvet. On Kelly's last visit, she advised Rex not to expose Cherry to harsh weather and to reduce outdoor activities since the ones he made her do caused her a fever, but that restriction almost made Cherry depressed so Rex thought of another way that wouldn't make Cherry feel burdened and she is still able to enjoy herself which is pillow relaxing on the roof.
Rex walked to the device on the wall and asked for a repeat of the message.
"Could you repeat the question?
"Sir, you have a call from XYZ textiles." Elma tells him through the intercom.
"XYZ textiles, why should I be concerned with that?" He asks her.
"They said I should let you know the meeting concerning their investment package should be held today."
"Oh that! Can you tell them I will speak to them when I am much available."Rex tells her and stares at the spot Cherry is resting.
"They also said they need to finalize your decision tomorrow in the office, you will be needed tomorrow." Elma explained.
"Alright, tell them to maintain the ports in Oklahoma, we will settle the rest tomorrow as planned."
"Yes sir."
Rex ran his hand through his hair wondering how to tell Cherry but has decided the whole day belonged to them both. He then returns to Cherry and joined the cuddle from where they left, being so close to Rex makes her forget the delay in her pregnancy and other worries.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yes, I am. Don't worry about anything Cherry, let's enjoy the moment." He waves off her worries but it is not enough.
"You don't look okay and I won't feel relaxed unless you tell me what the matter is." Cherry insisted.
"Cherry-"
"Can you stop with your don't worry, because it makes me worry the more." She beat his chest upset and he laughs at how childish her actions were.
"Cherry, I promise I am not running away."
"Then tell me what the matter is." She demanded and he sighs.
"I have an important meeting tomorrow, though I canceled the meeting and rescheduled it after the baby is born so I can have some time with you but the company owners are very impatient and demanding." He explained.
"Hmm- sounds like you." She shrugs and let him cuddle her.
"Did you just compare me to someone?" He asked playfully.
"I don't know but it does sound familiar." She said.
"I am not impatient and demanding, and don't forget you have been acting impatient and demanding for some months." He points out.
"Guess who's baby I'm carrying? Yours! And I don't have such traits before my pregnancy." Cherry tells him and he can't defend himself. "I am right!."
"You always are! Cherry, I wanted to ask you this for a long time, I think it is more romantic if I can ask while you are still pregnant."
"What is it?"
"Why didn't you want to know the gender of our baby?" He asked and she went silent. "Cherry?" He called.
"I didn't want to care if it was a boy or a girl. If I knew the gender was the one I didn't want, I might not go through with the pregnancy joyfully, I know that sucks but in conclusion, I wanted it to be a surprise."
"What gender do you want?" He asks.
Cherry adjusted herself so her baby bump was lying on the pillows and not her organs.
"A boy. I wanted a boy." She answered dreamily.
"Why? I thought you would want a girl."
"I don't really know, I just knew I wanted it to be a boy. He will be my best friend!." She spoke fondly of the baby she wasn't sure she was having.
"Ur-em! What about me? I'm still here." Rex spoke jealously.
"Don't be jealous, but what about you? What gender would you have preferred?" She ask him.
"Honestly, we have two different choices here. I want a girl. A beautiful daughter who looks just like her mother." He said and looked down at her. Cherry also looked up at him, emotions clouding her mind, and she smiles at him.
"Why a girl?"
"So I can protect her, guide her, help solve all her problems and let her know she is not alone. She will be a daddy's girl and I can deal with all the guys that want to come near her." He said and Cherry almost cried.
"Ha- I was expecting that." She said and wiped a tear from the corner of her eyes.
"Don't cry, this is something I have always wanted for a long time but I only wanted to share it with someone I love, and that some is you Cherry Gilles." He said and kissed her for the first time in months.
"I feel so emotional now." Cherry said after their kiss and rests her head on his chest. They remained quiet for some time until Rex decided to speak.
"Don't you also want to know how many you are having? You know- it's very important so we can plan-"
"Wait!- are you telling me we are having more than one!" Cherry panicked.
"No, I was just creating a reference. I don't know-"
"You want to kill me isn't it?!" She asked.
"Why would you think that? Look- Cherry, I am sorry if what I said offended you, I didn't mean it."
"Just don't scare me like that again. She warned.
"I promise." He joined his fingers and hers together.
He laughs and they enjoyed the rest of the day talking about the clouds.
