Fifteen minutes of arguing...
Maria and Kayla were very lost in the word-to-word fight which had been going on for about fifteen minutes now, and with Jerry trying to separate them, nothing stopped the argument. It's a miracle no one was trying to shoot another or knock themselves out.
"QUIET!!!!!!!!!!!" Maria soon shouts angrily after having enough of the quarrel digested in her system. Everyone instantly went silent and Jerry stares at her in wonder. "We have been in this DAMN office for fifteen minutes and neither of you is ready to SHUT UP! I am sick of listening to meaningless screaming and quarrel! If you all can't settle your differences like normal people, at least be mature to do it!" Maria expresses.
"You know I didn't want them here but you let them stay." Rex points out to Maria.
"Son, why are you referring to us as strangers?" Marcelo frowns at Rex.
"You are been strangers since you and mom left!." Rex snaps angrily.
"Rex!- I'm sorry Sir Angelo, Rex is a little... confused and uncertain about somethings-" Maria comes in immediately because she hated the way he was talking to Marcelo.
"It' okay Maria, I clearly understand what he is feeling, but he shouldn't be pointing fingers until he learns the truth. We are only here to make sure him, Cherry and the baby are fine." Marcelo answers collectively.
"Actually Rex have babies..." Maria scratches her head and released a nervous smile.
"Sorry- come again? I don't understand." Marcelo expresses his state of shock and confusion.
"You have two granddaughters sir." Jerry helps Maria out as she was in a weird state making her words mute.
Marcelo had a super shocked face which staggers his posture, he had to sit down to digest the news while not being able to tell if he was happy or not.
"I have two grand-babies?" He mutters perplexed to himself and a elated smile-laughter erupts finally on his face. "I have two grand-babies!" He exclaims louder to everyone.
"Yes dad. Cherry gave birth to two babies." Rex spoke with pride but tries to maintain a stoned expression.
"That's great news! I-I- I can't wait to meet them now, if you don't mind!." He tells Rex and everyone looks at him.
Rex didn't have a problem with his father but he did have a little problem with his mother over perfection and the fact that she manually controls Marcelo was another issue. He is more worried what scene his mother would display in front of his children.
"What about mom? She walked out of the office when this argument started." Kayla asked.
"Leave her be, it will be best if she doesn't come with us for now..." Marcelo tells Kayla.
"So she doesn't cause a scene, I get it." Rex replies with no humor and leaves Jerry's office.
"Go on sir." Maria tells Marcelo and they all leave to the nursery.
Rex takes over from the nurses and carries one of the babies carefully from the crib, and soon later Marcelo, Kayla and Maria enters.
"They are still awake?" Maria asked and comes to meet baby two in her crib.
"I guess they missed me." Rex answered cockily and rocked baby one so she doesn't cry.
"Cocky jerk..." She responds and checks baby two.
"Can I see them?" Kayla ask and Rex stares at her blankly. "I will just sit here..." She nervously made her way to the long couch by the door without causing more awkwardness.
Marcelo then goes to meet his son and request to hold his grand-baby. Rex was a little reluctant but Maria pinched him from behind and he let Marcelo hold her.
"Wow! Such a big baby!" Marcelo exclaims with a smile. "She's beautiful." He compliments.
"I know. They have a beautiful mother, it's obvious." Rex responds without any emotion and Marcelo looks at his son's eyes with worry.
"Rex, I know your mother and I haven't been great parents but I want to tell you something... that you shouldn't let our mistakes scar your new journey with your own family."
"I don't have a problem with you dad, and you know it."
"It's Anna, is it?" Marcelo asked and Rex nods slightly. Marcelo then took a deep breath and looks back the bundle of joy playing silently in his arms. "See her?" He jerks his head at the baby.
"I do..."
"She how innocent she looks? She have no idea what life can be and what kind of parent she will have. Rex, do not raise your children in the fear or doubts that run through your heart. You have to promise me that you and Cherry will be better parent than I and your mother."
"Dad-"
"If I wasn't told, I wouldn't have found you all here." Hannah comes in with her irritation.
"Have her, I'll handle your mother." Marcelo whispers and hands the baby to Rex then went to meet his wife. "Hannah, the babies are sleeping, we do not want to wake them." He takes her arm and tries to lead her out gently.
"Babies? That woman gave birth to two babies?" She exclaims impressed.
"Hannah?... Kayla, let's get your mother home." He motions to his daughter and they made their exit from the nursery and out of the hospital before Hannah brings in trouble.
"Your mother will never learn to love Cherry will she?" Maria ask Rex after they left.
"Nope!"

In Rex's new penthouse...
"Aaaand... we.are.home!" Maria announces to the babies as she and Rex enters the beautiful penthouse he had been saving for their little family.
"Yeah... we're home." He joins the excitement but wasn't really feeling the excitement. Maria heard the bluntness in his words and carefully placed the baby in her arms inside one of the cribs in the sitting room then faces him to know what was wrong.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"I think..." He shrugs and places the baby in his arms inside the other crib with extra care.
"You don't sound happy. Aren't you happy to be home with your girls?"
"I am! But- I wanted Cherry and I to come here with our babies but she can't and it is my fault-" He looks down at the floor.
"Don't blame yourself, Cherry might not be here right now but there is one thing I know for sure. She will put up a fight to any hindrances wanting to separate her from her babies and she will come to you." She encourages him but worries if Cherry will actually stay or leave as planned.
"I believe you Mia, she will return to me, to us and we will live happily here. This whole place, I purchased it as a gift to Cherry. It was supposed to be a surprise package after she gave birth-"
"But it still stands right?" Maria asked and he nods.
"We-"
"Sir, you have a visitor..." His butler calls him.
"Who is it?" Rex demands.
"Jason Brant, sir." He bows.
"Jason?" Rex ponders and looks at Maria. "I wonder what's so important that he traced my location here." He tells Maria and she shrugs. "Stay with them, I'll go see what he wants." He tells her.
"I'll be here anytime." She tells him and he leaves to discuss with Jason.
Maria then prepares the twins for an early nap so they don't disturb Rex in the night, when she noticed a smell from baby one diaper. Unsure if it was just her nose deceiving her, she checks baby two diaper and confirms they had pooped in the diaper but it was a strange kind of poo and smell.
"That's weird... these diapers were just changed a while ago?" She asks herself but shrugs it off thinking it was normal for babies to have such poo with the odor. She proceeded to change their diapers and wait for Rex to come back.
A moment later Rex came back looking furious and distressed, and Maria had to hold back her findings to ask what the problem was. She leaves the crib and comes to meet her friend standing in front of the window.
"What happened Rex? Is it bad?" She ask and he sighs.
"I just found out Kayla was the one who told Susanna about the mansion."
"The one that got burnt?" She ask and he nods. "Why would she do that? And how did she come to know of it?" Maria voiced her surprise.
"That's what I am going to find out." He grumbles and gets his jacket from the corner and heads for the door but Maria tries to stop him.
"Rex! You aren't going to do something stupid at your parent's place?"
"I am just going to get answers. Mia, I will need you to keep a close eye on my girls, you are the only one I trust, now that Cherry isn't here." He held her shoulders.
"About that, I have something to tell you-"
"Skip it Mia, I will be back soon." He tells her and leaves quickly.
"No- you have to- darn that stubborn man!" She punches the air and worries what he was going to do.

Marcelo house...
knock knock!
It was five in the evening when the senior Angelo received violent knocks on his door. The sudden attack startled the entire family as they wondered who the person could be.
"Where are the damn guards? Didn't they screen the fool behind the door?" Marcelo complained angrily and calls the security at the gate. "You better have some explaining to do fool! You let a crack skull into my home?"
"Sir, I'm sorry but it's Mr Rex, your son." The security replies making Marcelo dumbfound.
"Rex?"
"Yes sir."
"Alright, I'll handle it, just keep your eyes sharp and inform me before hand." He tells the guard.
"Yes sir."
Marcelo drops the telephone and looks back at his family. His facial expression made them worried and curious but Marcelo didn't say a word to them, still.
"Who's out there? Are you going to keep staring at us like that?" Hannah demanded eagerly.
"It's Rex at the door." Marcelo replies.
"What? He's visiting us?" Kayla ask in surprise.
"I doubt Kayla. With the force he is using on that door, I doubt this is a friendly visit, but whatever happens, do not speak a word, and Hannah, please, try not to rile up our son with personal matters." Marcelo tells them before he gets up to open the door.
"Why-" Hannah wanted to argue but Marcelo was firm with his decision surprising her.
"I'm begging you love. We don't need our child detesting us for the rest of his life."
"Fine then..." She reluctantly agrees when she couldn't control her husband anymore.
Marcelo goes to open the door, preparing himself for the worse in case it came, and as expected, Rex had a furious glare on his face when the door opened.
"Son? What bring you here?" Marcelo acts casual.
"Is your darling daughter here?" He asked venomously.
"Kayla? Why do you as-"
Rex made his way inside without saying another word or listening to his father, and when his eyes met with Kayla they turned dark cold, filled with rage. Kayla was unsure why her brother look so mad at her but his cold glares sent chills all over her body, deep into her bones.
"YOU!" Rex growled and points a daring finger at Kayla making her shrink back in her seat. Marcelo see this and quickly comes to control his son.
"REX- what's gotten into you? Why are you mad at your sister?" Marcelo comes in front of him, blocking Kayla from his view.
"She happened! I knew it from the start she was bad news." He snarls at Kayla.
"What have your sister done?" Marcelo ask.
"Sister? I told you, she will never be my sister! And for what she did, I can not forgive!."
"Rex, we are a family, we can settle whatever it is amicably without causing a scene-"
"A scene? She should be arrested along with that betraying monster, Susanna!" Rex points out with venom.
"Rex... please sit. Let's have an adult conversation..." Marcelo uneasily speaks and made Rex sit on a couch far from Kayla.
"Rex, what's come over you?" Hannah began but Marcelo signals for her to stop and she held her tongue.
"I received a tip that your precious daughter was the one who told about the mansion and she is also an accomplice with Susanna." Re started.
"Rex, let's not point fingers, your sister is a victim as you are. Susanna only used her." Hannah comes to Kayla's defense.
"I don't believe so, because if she was truly an Angelo, she will never betray the family for anything."
"What did you do?" Marcelo asked getting alarmed.
"What is right." He replies and a few seconds after, some officers barges in to arrest Kayla.
"REX!" Hannah screams furiously at her son. "How can you do this to us and your sister?"
"If she is as innocent as you claim, then she will have to prove it." Rex tells them and made the first exit followed by the officers.
"MOM! DAD! HELP ME!" Kayla shouts desperately to her parents as she gets dragged away.
"KAYLA!" Hannah shouts back.
"Kayla! Just remain calm, your mother and I will do something about it!" Marcelo shouts to them as they exit the house.
When they leave Hannah was pained and furious. She trashes the place, letting out her anger and then leans against a wall nearby.
"Why is this happening?" She breakdowns on her own.
