November 28th two days to thanksgiving...
Day two after the whole drama...
Everything was back like in the old times, no more fights and yelling. Kayla had been arrested for conspiracy with a criminal and will stand trail when Susanna is ready to face court. According to Jason and his lawyer, the hearing will hold in a few days if Cherry is well enough to testify against Susanna.
Rex and Maria spent more time in the new penthouse, with Rex working his ass off to make up for the lost time from work, and trying to spend some quality time with his daughters. All along, Maria had to make regularly visits to care for the babies because Rex had little trust with his staff alone with the girls. He comes into the nursery where Maria was just changing baby two diaper.
"Hey..." She drawled.
"I checked the kitchen but you weren't there." Rex told her.
"Yes, I have to stay with them constantly because they are having constant diarrhea." She reports in a stern voice.
"What?" Rex moves to the babies quickly. "How? What happened?"
Maria sighs and puts baby two in her crib then turns to face him. "Are you then ready to listen?" She ask him with a hand placed on her hip.
"I don't understand Mia, what do you mean?"
"This is what I have been trying to tell you for the past two days! But your crazy vengeance blocked me out and the girls too." Maria half snaps out in frustration.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know. How bad is it?" He asked worryingly.
"Depends. I needed your consent before taking them to the doctor."
"You should have, I trust you with them."
"Still, you are the legal father. Your consent will still the be needed."
"Let's go now, Cherry will never forgive me if anything happens to them." He moves to get ready but paused and asked. "Have they eaten anything yet?"
"I'm afraid they haven't since last night. They are refusing the formula and all the baby food we've got. I did manage to feed them two days ago, and yesterday morning, but this is getting out of hand. Babies can't fast or be kept hungry for long."
"Let's go now." Rex urges and picks one of the baby, and Maria carries the other baby and head out.

"So? What's happening to them?" Rex asked Kelly. They arrived at the hospital just in time and since then the babies have been crying non-stop.
"They are really hungry." Kelly replies and wears her stethoscope.
"I can see that. I want to be assured if this diarrhea had given them any health problems." Rex clarifies.
"No sir, it hasn't and thank God for that. Most babies suffering from chronic or partial diarrhea usually come with life threatening sickness because of their fragile state, but to avoid any future health related problems, the use of baby food and formula should be eradicated for the meantime until I can understand why they have a negative reaction for it."
"But it also means they could starve!" Maria exclaims and Rex stares at her fazed.
"I could have breast milk extracted for-"
"No! My babies won't drink another woman's milk!" Rex cuts in sharply.
"But sir, that's the only option we have left." Kelly tries to explain.
"Didn't they come from a mother?" He ask.
"Yes, but-"
"And she is still breathing is she?"
"Cherry can't breastfeed in her state. She still hasn't woken from coma and-"
"But her organs and body still functions?" He ask and Kelly was quiet. "Answer me?"
"Yes sir."
"Rex, where are you going with this?" Maria ask her friend.
"The babies will feed directly from their mother." He declares.
"But Rex, Cherry isn't awake-" Maria speaks on everyone's behalf but Rex stops her.
"She will have you and a nurse help her with it. It's the best I can do so she can feel her children close to her."
"That's touching sir but-"
"There are no buts, I want them fed... NOW!" He demanded and heads out.
Kelly and Maria then look at one another. Maria shrugs and Kelly sighs with her head bowed low.
Seconds later Kelly, Nurse Rosa, a male nurse and Maria were in Cherry's room. She had been moved from the ICU to a regular ward now she was out of danger. Rex soon joins them but gave a crazed look at the male nurse in the ward.
"What's he doing here?" He asked Kelly.
"Oh- I called him to help out with changing of the sheets." Kelly replies calmly.
Rex looked like he was about saying something foul and signals to Kelly for a private talk.
"Can I talk to you..." He says and Kelly joins him at a corner. "Let this be the last time Kelly. I want no male doctor or nurse.... no male anyone near, outside, inside or around Cherry. Got it?"
"Yes sir." She responds reluctantly.
"Good, get rid of him, his face reminds me of a dead monkey." He said and went to meet Cherry.
"Nurse Ty, thank you for coming but I will take it from here." Kelly tells the male nurse.
"Doctor Kelly?...is... everything alright?" Ty ask while staring from her to Rex confusingly.
"Yes Ty, you have nothing to worry about. If I need you I will send for you." She said.
"Well... alright." Ty say and slowly leave the room. When he was gone Kelly resumes setting up Cherry to breastfeed, and with the other nurse help they formed a temporary support to support both babies on each side.
"Alright, she's ready." Kelly announced and collects the babies one after the other, placing them on the pillow almost upright. "Nurse Rosa, keep watch on baby one, Maria, you are for baby two."
Maria and nurse Rosa lift the babies in the angle Kelly tells them and in an instant, both babies began sucking desperately.
"Aww... look at how quickly they began sucking..." Maria coo.
"Yeah, they must have been starving from that horrible baby food." Rex comments and all the women stare at him. "What? I was not in support of artificial feeding."
"Me neither, but it was our only shot then." Maria added.
"That's different now... my girls got to feed the traditional way, and Cherry gets to be closer to them at the same time." He replies and they nod in agreement.
"But how can we keep on with this, now that the babies prefer breastfeeding?" Maria ask Kelly.
"The babies will have to remain in the hospital until Cherry is able to be discharged." Kelly answers but Rex was a little worried. He looked at Maria for help and she blinks to give him a positive setting.
"Don't worry, I will always be with them until Cherry awakes." She tells Rex. "That way, I can spend some time with her. I haven't stayed a while..." She tells him.
"Thanks Mia..." Rex smiles with gratitude but his phone vibrates, calling out his attention. "Excuse me ladies. I need to leave... Mia!- take care of them."
"I will." She promised.
They stare at one another but Rex breaks the stare and leave.

November 29th, a day to thanksgiving...
At the police station....
"Can you explain what was your purpose on trying to kill Cherry Gilles?" Jason rounds the chair Susanna was seated. She was placed in the questioning room tapped with both listening and video devices to record life confessions.
"I won't say a word unless I speak with my lawyer." Susanna says stubbornly.
"Really Susie?... You think you can get away with what you've done so easily? Not because you told us Kayla Angelo was involved with this conspiracy doesn't mean I believe you are innocent." Jason reminds her.
"And who says I was innocent?" She ask with a snarky attitude.
"So you plead guilty?" He rose an eyebrow.
"Unless I say a word then I'm not." She look up at him confidently.
Jason was rather impressed with her answer but knows nothing useful will come out with this attitude of hers.
"You said Kayla was involved... did you get her involved or was it both of you that planned it?"
Susanna huffs and rolled her eyes. "Look here Jason, like I said yesterday... Kayla is involved. Yes she is. She was the one who knew about the mansion location, I didn't. She planned everything and blamed it on me when things got out of hand."
"But your claims don't match the report we got." He says with little humor and stayed behind her chair.
"What false statement is written in your reports?" She ask with an attitude.
Jason takes out a file from his coat and opens it. He began circling her again, reading out a summary of what was written.
"Three military weapons, five demolition explosives, each weighing three pounds and a list of names were found in your secret hideout." Jason speaks and sensed Susanna was stiff. "Yes... Susie, we infiltrated your secret hideout, and everything points to the fact that you stayed there and touched everything in there.... Based on the confession from a certain witness, you used her family as bait to sneak into Ne's change mansion and forced them to flee or die." Jason says.
"I didn't use them as bait..." She disagrees with hostility in her words.
"That's not all, we also have another witness who claimed you kidnapped her and forced her to create an invasion in the mansion, even threatening her to poison Cherry-"
"That lying bamboo! I didn't ask her to do any of those. She was a mere distraction so I could get in!." Susanna burst out in fury.
"So you agree, you are the mastermind to all these?" Jason ask knowing he trapped her with her confession. Susanna only realized what she said later on but refused to answer his question. "Susanna, you can only help yourself if you confess the whole truth."
"Then rot in HELL!" She spat.
"Susie, you have been involved with too many illegal activities and many charges have been filed against you. Your rebellion won't help you-"
Jason tries to convince her but she was adamant.
"I don't want it. They think this is over, but it is not! I will get justice for myself!" She swore, looking straight into his eyes.
"Sus-"
"Brant-" Someone called and comes into the interrogation room. "Someone is here to see the suspect." She says.
"Who is it?" Jason ask a little upset to be interrupted.
"Chief Tyler."
"I'm a little busy right now, tell him to wait."
"A little busy huh?..." Susanna then gets up from the chair and pretends to seduce him.
"Urm-" The third person says uneasily and Susanna takes her seat proudly, playing with the tip of her hair.
Jason was very irritated and grimaced visibly. "Alright, let him in." He tells her and moved in front of Susanna. "You!- you are something else. If you will not be wise to admit your faults then save most of your energy for the court, you'll need it."
After telling her, he turns away and heads for the door.
"Say hi to your mother!" Susanna said with a snarky remark but paused upon seeing her father glaring at her.
'this is some shit...' she thought.
