chapter 31 Kairhara pov

I went to the headquarters, changed into my Devil Princess attire, and put on my mask. It's payback time they better be ready. "Where is she?" I asked the two.
"In the torture room, Kai!" Keys replied. I walked to the basement and found a sleeping woman. Approaching her, I stabbed her arm with a knife, relishing in her screams.
"Who are you?" she asked, struggling to break free. "Don't you recognize us?" Keys retorted. They were my reliable friends, Black Tiger and Black Lion. "I don't know you! What did I do to you? Why did you take me?" she questioned.
"Are you sure you haven't wronged us? Think about it you might have done something bad," Dave added. I grinned, continuing to inflict pain.
"Remember everything you've done! Got it?" I shouted, stabbing her arm again. She cried out in pain. I enjoyed seeing her suffer. "Enough, please!" she pleaded. I signaled my companions to take her with us.
In a shooting range, I decided to add some thrill. "Tie her properly to the shooting board. If she escapes, I'll kill both of you," I warned. After securing her, I explained the game. "You see her head? And the circle near her head? You need to hit that. You have four chances."
"Easy enough!" they exclaimed. "Wait, I'm not done. You need to be blindfolded!" I said, enjoying their surprise. "What? Are you crazy, Kairhara?" they protested.
"Do it, or I'll replace you, and I'll be the one shooting. Sorry if you regret it later," I threatened. Reluctantly, they blindfolded themselves. "What now? I'm so excited! What's our move?" Dave asked.
"You're the mechanic; do you see her head and the circle? Simple, hit that with only four chances," I explained. "Easy, huh?" they said. "Oh, wait. I'm not done yet; you need to spin around ten times for more thrill!" I added.
"What? Are you okay? Are you going crazy? I might accidentally kill her," Keys protested. "Don't want to? I'm easy to negotiate with. Dave, switch places with her, and I'll shoot you instead. Sorry, but you might be mourned later," I threatened.
"Fine, we'll do it. Right, Dave?" Keys agreed. "Yeah," Dave replied. Keys took the gun, surveyed the target, and blindfolded Dave.
"Ready—"
"Wait, spin around ten times for more excitement!" I insisted. "What? Seriously? You're insane! I might shoot her," Keys complained.
"Don't want to? I'm easy to talk to. Dave, switch places with her, and I'll shoot you. Sorry, but you might be mourned later," I repeated the threat. "Okay, fine, I'll spin," Dave agreed.
After ten spins, I grinned as I heard the gunshot, but unfortunately, it missed the target. "F*ck you! Who are you? Let me go; I don't want to die!" the woman screamed.
"Did you hit anything?" I asked. "Sad to say, no, but you have three more chances. Do better," I encouraged. "How can I? I can't see anything. I might kill her," Keys hesitated.
"Don't want to? Easy, Dave, switch with her, and I'll shoot you. Sorry, but you might be mourned later," I threatened again. "We'll do it, right, Dave?" Keys said. "Yeah," Dave agreed.
Keys aimed the gun again, blindfolded, and this time, the woman screamed as the knife grazed her arm. "Enough, please! I'm scared!" she cried.
"One more chance, Black Tiger," I said, smiling. She fired again, but once more, she missed. "Hay, what's happening? I can't hit the target," Keys complained.
"Next, Black Lion," I instructed. After following the process, Dave shot, but again, he missed. "You didn't hit anything; do better," Keys teased.
"Damn, you're arrogant!" Dave said, firing again. The woman cried out as the knife grazed her arm for the third time. "Enough, please! I'm scared!" she pleaded.
"Last one chance," I said. After the shot, the woman screamed in pain as the bullet hit her leg. "Annoying," Dave commented.
"Tch, more practice. So you'll become skilled," I remarked. I put on a blindfold, confident that I wouldn't hit the woman, and fired four shots in quick succession.
"Wow, you're amazing. You never disappoint!" Dave praised. "You're so good; I really admire you!" Keys added. I just scoffed at them, hid the gun, and approached the woman, punching her in the stomach for good measure.
"Ah, please, let me go," she whimpered. I just grinned and slapped her. Did she really think I would pity her? In her dreams.
Keys' POV:
Kair is truly ruthless. We carried the woman while following her lead. She stopped us in front of two aquariums, one filled with ice and the other with alcohol. Kair's brutality shows when she collects debts. I wonder what this woman did to incur Kair's wrath. Good luck to her; she might not survive this.
"Put her inside. Make sure Mondragon sees her," Kair instructed, grinning like a demon. "Okay, got it!" we replied.
"I have to go; I have other things to do," she said, leaving us. I shook my head as she walked away; she's really something.
We dunked the woman in the ice-filled aquarium for 30 minutes before immersing her in alcohol. She screamed in pain, and I couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for her. But she picked a fight with our princess, so she deserves it.
