Chapter 33 Shadow pov

I can't forget her smile earlier, she looks beautiful when she smiles. What's happening to me? I'm heading to the cafeteria because my friends are already there. As I enter the cafeteria door, I see Konaide talking to Aron. Damn, why are they together? Do they have a relationship? Oh, damn, why is my head suddenly getting hot with what I'm seeing? I find myself staring at Konaide and Aron, wanting to keep her away from Aron. What am I thinking? Why does it matter if they're together? But why are they together?
"Hey, Bro! That might melt..." someone suddenly interrupts from the side. I look at them and give them a glare.
"What?"
"You've been staring for a while, are you jealous?"
"Why would I be jealous?" I said coldly.
"I don't know," I ignore him and look at Konaide again. She's smiling at Aron, what could they be talking about?
Clarence's POV:
We're in our VIP seats when we see Shadow enter, but he suddenly stops near the door, as if looking at something. His face suddenly becomes serious, so we approach him. He seems oblivious, not noticing us. We see what he's looking at – Konaide. So that's why he's staring, she's talking to someone else. Several minutes pass, and he still hasn't noticed us, so I tap him. It's as if he wants to dive into the ocean. I tease him, but he refuses to admit it.
"He's jealous," I whisper. Shadow gives me a piercing look in annoyance. He leaves and doesn't enter the cafeteria – he's jealous.
We follow him, we know his temper is hot, so it's dangerous for anyone in his way.
"Love indeed..." Ice mutters.
"Is he in love?" Lay asks.
"I think so, did you notice how sweet his gaze was earlier? And now, his mood has changed after seeing that..." I whisper.
"Fuck! Darn!” Shadow curses loudly, catching the attention of many students. We see him bump into a guy, and trouble ensues.
"He's in trouble..."
"He messed with the wrong person, Shadow..."
"Boss, sorry. Please forgive me. I didn't mean to!" the guy pleads, kneeling. Even if we approach Shadow, we can't do anything. We might end up with bruises too.
"You didn't mean to? Are you blind not to see me? You're stupid!" Shadow shouts at the guy, getting angrier. We watch, not intervening. It's their fight.
"Sorry, really sorry, boss! Forgive me!" the guy pleads again. I feel sorry for him,I can imagine his face after Shadow beats him.
"Fuck you! Mother fucker!" Shadow curses, about to punch the guy when someone holds Shadow's hand. I grin, luckily, Konaide is here. Truly a heaven sent.
"Who are you to stop me? You even insulted me!" Shadow angrily questions, glaring at Konaide. Konaide doesn't back down. They're both brave.
"Tsk... are you that weak, picking on the weak ones? Konaide asks, grinning at Shadow.
Due to Shadow's irritation, he leaves, leaving us behind. We follow him, anticipating where he's going. He hits or confronts anyone blocking his way. This is what we dislike about Shadow. When he's too angry, he loses control to himself. Sometimes, we get caught in the crossfire.
"Are you strong?" Shadow shouts at a guy he passes by.
"No, boss, I'm sorry..." He said and ran out. Tch, shadow.
*Kairhara pov*
At 7 pm, I had somewhere to go. I wore a red jacket with a hood and a mask, leaving only my mouth visible. I passed by the window to avoid being reported by Butler. I could be charged for something if he spotted me. I went to the parking lot, took my motorcycle, and started it. I even threatened our guard to let me out if he reported me, I'd really kill him. I stopped my car in a dark corner near a bar, attached a silencer to my gun, and got out of the car. I climbed the wall of the bar since I couldn't go through the main entrance. When I descended, a guard saw me. I immediately pointed my gun at him.
"Who ar—," he couldn't finish speaking as I struck him on the head with my gun.
I entered the bar through the fire exit. There was another guard there, but I quickly put him to sleep too. Inside, I hid in a dark corner and patiently waited for my target. He's quite flirtatious, but he should make the most of his last night in this world. I aimed my gun at his head and fired.
Afterward, I left my position once I was sure my target was dead. I exited through the fire exit to avoid being seen. Outside, I jumped over the fence, got into my car, and headed to the drug race field. I just wanted to celebrate because I had collected another payment. As I walked into the drug race field, people stared at me. After a while, a guy approached.
"Miss, where are you going?"
"Tsk, use your common sense," I replied irritably.
"Miss, are you sure this is where you're going? You might be lost, hahaha!" he teased, looking like a racer himself. I ignored him; he talked too much and hurt my ears.
"You're really going to fight. If I were you, I wouldn't, haha! You might just cry!" he continued teasing. The racers with us laughed along. They were quite chatty; let's see if they'll talk during the race.
"Tsk..." I answered and prepared myself. I put on my helmet as the race was illegal and dangerous. I only learned about it from my devilish friends; it's my first time racing in the Philippines, but it's not new to me. Since Japan, I've always been the top racer, whether legal or illegal.
"Are you really sure, Miss?" the guy who kept talking earlier asked again.
"Hey, bro, stop it. She might start crying before the race even begins!" another guy said. I don't know who he is. I noticed they laughed at me because I was the only woman competing. I just grinned at the guy; they might be the ones crying later.
"Is it the first time a woman is fighting here?" another racer asked.
"I hope not; she might get depressed if she loses! Haha!" the guy who teased me earlier said, too confident. He left, so I went out to get ready.
