Chapter 42 Kairhara pov

Final Battle
For five days, they've been tormenting me until I saw a small piece of broken glass they used as a makeshift weapon against me. I cautiously reached for it, ensuring not to make any noise. Once I got hold of it, I struggled to cut the rope on my hands. After successfully freeing my hands, I quickly cut the rope on my feet. I stood up, assessing if I could even stand. Truth be told, I was extremely weak, but I stood up despite having no strength left.
I searched for an exit, but there was only one door I could use. With determination, I walked towards it. Before reaching the door, Keysel suddenly appeared.
"Where do you think you're going? And how did you manage to escape?" he asked, pointing a gun at me. Despite my weakness, I tried to stay strong. I couldn't surrender; I hadn't avenged my parents yet. "Do you think you can escape from me?" he taunted, firing the gun, and I dodged despite the pain. When he ran out of bullets, he rushed towards me since I was too weak to resist. He kicked me multiple times in the stomach, making it even harder for me. Damn, if only I had strength now, I could have killed him earlier.
"Is that all you can do? Acting like a Devil Princess? Turns out, you're weak!" he sneered, and my vision blurred. I tried to resist, but he pinned me down. When I got hold of the broken glass I used earlier, I slashed his back, causing him to stand up in pain, holding his back. This gave me a chance to attack and kick him in a sensitive area.
"You shameless!" he exclaimed as he tried to stand properly. Before he could, I didn't give him a chance to retaliate. I attacked and punched him, but due to my weakness, both of us fell. I was on top of him, continuously punching. Until I saw his face covered in blood. I was going to kill him.
"Enough..." he pleaded. I grinned, more motivated now.
"Brave, aren't you? Where's your courage now?" I coldly asked.
"I give up, please, stop..." he begged, thinking his pleas could sway me. I showed no mercy, relentlessly beating his face. Here I am again, attacked by my own demons. If they hadn't provoked me, none of this would have happened.
"Do you know that a Devil Princess doesn't just surrender? What do you think, am I that easy to kill?" I said coldly, gripping his neck. I grinned, indicating that this was his last day in this world.
"Please, no..." he pleaded. Since I felt no pity for him, I twisted his head until I heard it crack. His eyes widened as I left him. It was fitting for him to die; when I exited the room, Mondragon was waiting. Another one of them.
"How did you escape?" Mondragon asked, smirking at my state.
"Evil takes time to die, Mondragon." I smirked back.
"Let's see how tough you are!" he said, pulling out a knife. "I'll kill you!" he declared and attacked me with the knife. I tried to dodge each strike, but my body couldn't take it anymore. He was too fast. When he was about to stab me, my hands moved on their own, blocking the blade. While holding the knife, I kicked him in the stomach. He dropped the knife, and I kicked him again when he fell. I approached him and slit his throat. I was satisfied with what I saw. As I exited, I saw Skyper aiming a gun at Shadow. I threw the knife at Skyper, causing him to fall. But I hadn't reached Shadow yet. Someone grabbed me from behind and threatened Shadow. I showed that I was okay.
"If I'm not here, make sure you die!" she warned, holding my neck and pointing the gun at me. I bit her hand, causing her to let go and kicked her in the face.
"You shameless woman!" she angrily yelled.
"You're more shameless! Worthless for killing my family!" I said, and she punched me, but she caught my weakened hand and slammed me into the wall. I became weaker as she continuously punched my face. Despite the pain, I thought, what was the point of all the time I spent hoping. For revenge on the person I loved. When I looked to my right, I saw a switchblade, so I tried to catch it even though I was already weak. I caught it, cutting my hand again. The person who killed my family stood up and pointed the gun at me.
"Goodbye!" she said, grinning at me. Shortly after, she pulled the trigger. I couldn't avoid it, so I slowly closed my eyes.
