Chapter 35 ³rd person pov

While Kairhara was walking, her friend Keysel suddenly appeared and bothered her about the upcoming school festival.
"Hara, which club are you joining? Hurry, registration is only until today!" Keysel insisted, following her.
"I don't care," Kairhara replied coldly, as she hadn't found a club to join.
"Come on, Hara... don't you want to be exempted from all exams?" Keysel persisted, clearly annoying Kairhara.
"Fine!" Kairhara responded irritably.
"Okay, go find a club you like!" Keysel urged, pushing Kairhara. "Want me to join you in the search?" he asked.
"Tch, no need..." Kairhara replied coldly, annoyed as she left to find a club.
"What the hell... Why do we need such activities? It's just a waste of time. I will kill whoever came up with this activity," Kairhara muttered as she walked.
"Hi, Miss Konaide!" Clarence greeted as he crossed paths with her. Kairhara just glanced at him, ignoring him.
"You're so mean. Here, have some chocolate. It's for you!" Clarence offered, handing her chocolate. Kairhara took it without acknowledging Clarence and continued walking. Clarence just scratched his head.
"So annoying..." Kairhara muttered, frustrated by the noise from the people in front of her.
"Tsk, they're so noisy..." Kairhara whispered, and soon, a breathless girl arrived.
"So tired..." the girl whispered, catching her breath.
"Oh, how are you? Did you find something? We need it now; you know the school festival is approaching!" the girl asked.
"Odette, I really can't find anything. No one's interested; I've asked everyone in school, but nothing," Kairhara explained.
"Tch, the school festival is near, and still nothing! Sh*t! Keep looking; we need another member because we have to win the gunfiring event at the school festival!" Odette angrily shouted.
"Sorry, I really can't find anything..." Kairhara grinned while continuing to listen. It seemed like she had thought of a club to join.
Kairhara fake-coughed to get their attention.
"What's that, Miss? Why are you still here?" Odette asked.
"Hmm... I want to join this club..." Kairhara said. Odette raised an eyebrow and burst into laughter.
"Ha? Are you serious? You want to join? Maybe you're just like this guy, clumsy and clueless!" Odette said, pointing to the previously clumsy guy.
Kairhara just sighed, waiting for their response. They whispered among themselves and then addressed Kairhara.
"Okay, Miss. Let's do this. If you hit the center of the board, we'll include you. But if not, forget about joining," Odette confidently said, raising her eyebrows. Kairhara just grinned, encouraged by what she heard.
"I'm up for the challenge," Kairhara said, and they went to their positions.
"So game, good luck to you. You can still give up now; you might end up crying!" Odette teased. She handed Kairhara a .45 Caliber gun. Kairhara just grinned while handling the gun.
"So, you'll cry, huh?" Kairhara thought.
"I'll go first!" Odette announced and aimed at the board. After a few minutes of aiming, she fired.
Kairhara sighed as she got impatient. "She's taking too long; this girl is overly scared..." Kairhara murmured. "This girl lacks practice; it's taking her forever..."
"Check, Viola, if it hit!" Odette shouted, going to the board. Viola hadn't returned yet when Kairhara quickly aimed her gun and fired in rapid succession until it was empty. Viola screamed in surprise.
"Oh my gosh! Why did you shoot!" Viola shouted, and Kairhara just grinned.
Viola looked at the board, and she was shocked to see that all of Kairhara's bullets had entered the same hole, right in the center.
"Wahhh! Oh my god! You're amazing! It's in the dead center, miss! Sh*t, I'm shocked!" Viola exclaimed and approached Kairhara. "My god, you're amazing! You can really defend us. How did you do that? Imagine, I was still there, and you didn't hit me! But you scared me!" Kairhara remained silent.
"How did you do that, Miss? You're awesome!" a guy asked in amazement.
"You're so cool!" another guy, who failed earlier, complimented.
"Tsk, that was just luck!" Odette said angrily, feeling overshadowed. "Want to try again? But this time, there's a person on the board!" Odette challenged, unable to accept defeat. Kairhara grinned and accepted the challenge.
"Gil, go to the front of my board! And you, Viola, go to the front of this girl's board!" Odette ordered.
"Come on, Odette..." the guy complained.
"Are you complaining?"
"No, okay..." the guy said, going to the front of the board, scared because the center of the board was right on his head. Viola hesitated but eventually went to Kairhara's board.
"Let's do it first!" Odette shouted.
Without hesitation, Kairhara fired her gun. Odette got distracted due to Kairhara's quick shots. Kairhara aimed where Odette was holding her gun.
"You're really good, Miss!" Viola shouted, embarrassed, while Odette just lowered her head.
"How about that, Odette? Are we including her now? Remember, we need another member, and that girl seems to have potential?" a guy asked. Odette didn't immediately respond.
"I have to go. I don't care if you include me or not," Kairhara said, about to leave, but Odette stopped her.
