After getting in the call with my manager, he let me know that I am going to have a busy schedule from next week, I guess I now have a limited time in the City and will have to tread my time carefully if I want to make reasonable things out of my time here.
I Made an enquiry to know about Mother Superior's whereabouts, I happened to get the information that she's now a school principal, running a Catholic school here in the City, guess I wouldn't have to leave the town after all.
I know that I have done quite a lot of things with my Life, but the situation here is that, Mother superior wouldn't be happy for the decisions I made. I knocked on her office door as I waited for her to give me the permission to walk in, I was told she was around and I guess I don't have to spend more time away from her anymore.
“ Guess he is no longer the boy I was scared of losing his faith....”. I turned around to see her standing behind me, she still looks the same as I left her and I am really happy to the point I was having that drive to huge her, but I know that I am not yet eligible for that. She possibly might have forgiven me, but I haven't asked for forgiveness yet.
“ You came from a long way, guess I will have to sacrifice my time for this meeting, and seeing whom you have become, I believe it's worth it....”, she said directing her arm towards inside the office and I opened the door walking in.
“ I believe you've possibly forgiven me for a long time now about my actions, but I still believe I owe you an apology.... ma'am ”, I said to her but trying not to stay confident in front of her. I know that I have lived my life to become that confident and ambitious guy, but when you're before your Mother, all that is meant to be thrown off the window and act submissive, that's the act of respect and that will show her that her teachings will never leave me even if I leave her.
“ I can't say that I forgave you because it's still hurt, but what should I do when I have my son standing before me, my son came back from the dead and I am a mother waiting with an opened arm. I know it's all in the past and we should leave the dead to bury themselves, but there's always this feeling of a mother loosing her child, it's not an easy thing to handle, that was actually my first time feeling that way and I never saw that coming, but seeing that my son is back, not as a prodigal son but one who led his life with the teachings he got, nothing makes me more proud.....”, she said, looking into my eyes.
I can remember one of the things Mr Caleb said to me before leaving for the second time, he said that most parents plan their childs future by themselves, after the child grew up and didn't get to the level they gambled on, they blame their child for not being the hardworking machine required, but that son that acts like the black sheep, that son that goes astray looking for his own way, getting all the criticism from the parents, when they return victorious, the parents would still be the one to take all the honor and raise alarm singing how proud they're for their son, but if after going their path and still returns as a failure, the parents would criticize everything about him, both his decision making and his actions.... Now as the son, it's left for you to make a gamble, will I return as a success?, Or do I choose to return as a failure?, Ask yourself that....”.
As Life lessons might have been, I have surely learnt something unique from Mr Caleb than anyone else, he brought me into this world, gave me tools to live in it, and then left me to take care of myself, for me, if I am asked about him, I would say that I never lied to my first love when I told her that Mr Caleb was my second father.
It all went well with Mother superior and it's about time I went on my way, I guess I will always come by to see her often, I don't know about the other kids I grew up with and their whereabouts, but I believe that as far as they've got a mother like Mother superior, they on the right path.
I have nothing to do tonight and I am just lying on my hotel bed, I have to go look for David, I have heard nothing but wrongs about him and right now I know that I really have to know what he's up to since everyone is giving the same review of him, maybe Uncle Dale might know, he might be in prison but I bet he possibly knows where to find his son, I will sure ask him the next time I go there.
I just went to the bar just like last night, going to grab one or two drinks. I was sitting there drinking some water to quench my thirst, the people at the bar were mostly cheering for a particular basketball team, I haven't been watching or playing basketball since forever, so the fact everyone was supporting them seems like they're really good.
I have seen the same figure many times with the ball, whenever he gets the ball, the cheers get louder, though the team were losing but the people at the bar can't stop cheering when that player gets moving with the ball, I never noticed who it was until the camera was clear on his face.... Jack.
