Wednesday.... 12:30 PM... At the gym... "So what are you guys gonna do today?" Linh asks as she enters the quiet gym along with Hoang and Minh. Like every ordinary weekday, the gym is usually pretty quiet during the weekdays, especially during the afternoon hours. "Today we got leg day on our schedule," Hoang states, while refering to the big gym bag he is carrying, which he only brings during leg days. "Since you know how much I hate sharing the smith machine with others, weekdays are the best days for leg days," Minh says in a sarcastic tone. "You don't hate sharing it with me though," Hoang adds in a playful manner, in an attempt to tease his sister. "Shut up and just set up the machine, Brother," Minh states. "Fine," Hoang says in a rather whiny tone. "And how about you, Sis?" "I'll just walk on the treadmill today," Linh states. "Ok. By the way, don't forget about the plan," Minh says, reminding her sister well of the plan they already talked about last night. "Sure," Linh says. In mind, she thought she only needed to wait for Nar to appear, not having any idea that he'll be going to Da Nang today. Linh's POV... I got up on the treadmill and set up the speed for a normal walk. I didn't feel like running on full speed today, and just thought about taking a normal walk. I don't really spend much time at the gym during weekdays, yet if I did have some time, I would probably slip into a cardio. As for my upper day and leg day schedule, I saved that for the weekends when I actually have a lot more free time. As I continue to walk on the treadmill, I start to set up the playlist on my phone. For me, nothing makes a good cardio session better than a good set of playlist. While walking in a chill phase, I start to make up scenarios in my head to prepare myself to approach Nar. Of course I would need some imaginary practice before he comes, so I gotta make sure I don't make a total fool of myself in front of him. Meanwhile... Da Nang, Vietnam... Nar's POV... I sat in the taxi as I wait to arrive at the hotel I'll be staying for a few days. Being in Da Nang for a few times now for business trip, I'm starting to get familiar of the roads here. Hopefully I can finish the matters here in a short time, by that I could return to Ho Chi Minh sooner. Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam... 2:17 PM... Linh's POV.... I step down the treadmill with sweats dripping all over from my body, as my legs feels weak after the amount of walking I just did. I thought I almost lost count on how much calories I burnt today, since all I feel like doing right now is getting some rest for my legs. Slowly, I lift my head up to see the sight of the gym, noticing that there are two people now working out, other than my siblings and I. Yet, the sight of Nar is still no where to be seen. Did he got busy and decided to skip? I don't know, but one thing is, I don't see a tall man with a muscular figure in this gym, at this moment. "Well you sure look exhausted," Minh states as she approaches me, who is still trying to wipe the sweats on my forehead with my arms. Man, I should brought a small towel next time. "I can barely feel my legs," I say as I grab my water bottle which I still placed on the treadmill. Minh giggles, "Well, I still need to do some step ups." "Yeah, sure. By the way, I haven't seen Nar today," I say. "Yeah, it's kind of odd," Minh states, a bit of disappointment can be feel through her voice. "Maybe he's busy," I say. "Don't worry. We still got weekend to see if he'll pop up." "Yeah, sure," Minh states. "Is Hoang done yet?" I ask Minh. "He said he'll just do some leg extensions for the finish," Minh says. "Ok. Well, I'll go back first," I say, thinking that other than some needed rest for my legs, I should also continue to edit my videos for contents. "Yeah sure," Minh says. "See you later." Hearing that, I wiped my forehead one last time, before I grab my small bag from the treadmill along with my other hand holding the water bottle. As I walk out of the quiet gym, the thought of Nar not appearing today somehow came across my mind, bringing me back the flashback of the sight of him usually lifting weights at the smith machine. The way his face always looks fully focus yet peaceful at the same time, it's crazy how that guy is able to stay in peace even when he has to focus on the amount of weights he's lifting. Even from a distance, his vibe never fails to bring out such a calm aura, as if he takes everything with a peaceful feeling, which I found to be...interesting. Wait, did I just thought of my sister's gym crush in a way that I found him to be interesting? Linh, are you crazy or what that you thought of Nar even for a few seconds? For crying out loud, he's your sister's gym crush who she had politely asked you in the first place to approach him and eventually get her closer to him just because she's too shy to even do it in the first place. Plus, you just got Xiaoyang's number a few days ago. He's your gym crush and you should probably be curious to know more about him. At least, you have to wait till weekend to see him again. Ok, I really need to get the thought of Nar off my mind. Maybe I'm just too exhausted that my mind starts travelling elsewhere. A few hours later... 9:15 PM... Da Nang, Vietnam... At Lotus Star Hotel... Nar lies down on the hotel bed, after taking a short warm shower before going to bed. Today had been quite hectic for him, yet he's happy that he was able to finish the matters of today. As he stretch his toned body on the bed, he feels relax and is ready for a good night sleep. Time for some sleep. Nar thought. Yet, as he gets up from the bed to turn off the lights, he noticed his phone placed on the small table next to the bed. On one side, he realized that he need some sleep for tomorrow. Yet, he also thought it wouldn't hurt to grab his phone for a few minutes. I'll just write a bit before bed. Nar thought as he grabs his phone from the small table. Whenever he has some free time outside of work and gym life, Nar likes to write about his daily life on his personal blog under a pen name as he prefers to stay lowkey about it. He often enjoys expressing his thoughts and feelings through his blog, where he feels as if he could show off a bit of his sensitive and even quirky sides freely. Day one of business trip done right. Nar thought as he types the words on his phone in his personal blog. A few days later... Saturday... 12:40 PM... At the gym... "Remember what you gottta do," Minh says as she enters the gym along with Hoang and Linh. Of course, she had reminded Linh earlier about the plan they agreed about approaching Nar if he ever show up today. "Of course," Linh states as her vision starts to study the crowded gym. Of course, like every weekend, it's always a full house. "Well, I'll just do some cardio today," Hoang says. "Ok," Linh says as she watches her brother walking over to the treadmill. "What about you?" Linh asks Minh. "Today is upper day for me. You want to join?" Minh asks. "Sure. That was actually also on my schedule," Linh states, before she forms a small smile to light up the mood, which eventually got Minh giggling. It's no secret that the two sisters would often pull out weird inner humours from time to time, sometimes even at the most weirdest time. The two sisters heads over to the cable machine to start their workout. While Minh decided to start with some bicep workouts, Linh decided to go with tripes for a start. While working out and having some rest in between, the two girls continue to keep their eyes open for any sign of Nar, yet he is still not in sight. "I swear, is that guy really skipping gym for a whole week?" Minh asks in sarcastic manner. "Maybe he's just busy, he'll eventually show up," Linh states. "You know what? I changed my mind," Minh suddenly says with a rather shy look all of a sudden. "What?" Linh asks in confusion. "Look behind you," Minh states, in which Linh turns her head to see who just arrived at the gym, only to get herself holding back her jaws to not drop at the sight of Nar entering the gym, walking in calmest manner as he walks pass them.
