"Hey babe! Where are you", Minji asked as soon as Nari picked up the call. "I'm on my way home, why", Nari asked back. "Can you do me a favor", Minji continued to ask. "Yeah sure, what is it", Nari responded in a heartbeat. "Are you in a car", Minji asked. "Yeah, I'm on my way home", Nari answered. "Okay babe, can you do me favor and take of the bracelet I gave you and the broken bracelet", Minji asked as Nari followed along. "Okay, now what", Nari asked when she has done both. "Now can you jump out the car for me honey", Minji asked making Nari have a weirded out expression on her face. "What? Are you crazy? Why-", Nari asked but was cut short by Minji. "Nari please jump out the car now", Minji yelled through the phone. "Why the hell-", Nari tried to ask but got cut off again. "Just please do it Nari please please please", Minji pleaded still screaming making Nari do as she said. "Fine", Nari yelled before jumping out the moving car. Not a minute passing, Nari then saw the car light up on fire. The driver who tried to escape got caught in flames. Just as the driver got out of the car, before he could run away, the car then exploded instantly killing him.
"Minji what the fuck", Nari asked after what she witnessed seeing that the call hasn't dropped yet. "One last favor Nari', Minji said avoiding her question. "What? What is it", Nari asked as she panicked seeing that amount of people is starting to slowly increase. Before Minji could answer, she ran to a nearby alleyway to avoid anyone that might know her. "Hello? Minji just tell me already damn it", Nari said as she successfully hid herself. "I'll send you an address, come the soonest possible time. Leave everything behind, and trust me. Stay lowkey and stay safe. Keep me posted", Minji said in one breath before hanging up leaving Nari confused. "What the fuck Minji", Nari screamed in frustration and just as she sat down on the cold ground, she then received a message from Minji containing the address. "This is an hour walk from here what the fuck", Nari continued to scream in frustration. "Fine Minji! Fine", Nari continued to talk to herself as she stood up and started to walk. Meanwhile, the bunch back at Lee's Residence were in a state of panic.
"What the hell was that Minji", Felix asked hearing the sound of explosion coming from Minji's phone. "A car exploding", Minji responded as hung up on Nari. "What in the world", Seungmin asked. "Is Nari okay", Minho asked. "Yeah she's fine... for now", Minji answered. "What do you mean for now", Minho asked again. "She'll only walk so yeah for now, let's just hope she stays safe", Minji said nonchalantly. "Are you out of your mind Minji? I'll fetch her", Minho said as he prepared to head out. "We'll meet her by the beach near Jisung's house", Minji said facing the four. "Up to you if you want to risk your life", Minji continued now shifting her gaze to Minho. "Fine fine, let's head to that beach", Minho said in defeat picking up Minji's skateboard. "Hey! Stop! I'm taking that", Minji exclaimed as Minho proceeded to run outside laughing making Minji run after him. "Do you think it's all real", Jisung now asked the three. "To be completely honest, I have doubts but her story could be believable", Hyunjin responded. "Well, could be", Seungmin said imitating Hyunjin. "Look, I know we are all shocked about all the information that Minji just poured down on us but think about it, the president's son dying and a car crash involving the vice president's niece? I would believe anything at this point", Felix said.
"He's not entirely wrong", Seungmin reacted. "But not entirely right either", Jisung added making Felix frown. "All I'm trying to say is, let's do this for her. We might not believe the story entirely, but she needs us now more than ever", Felix said making the three nod. "Yeah you're right", Hyunjin said in defeat. "What are we waiting for then? Let's get going", Jisung said standing up and heading to the door while the three followed along as well. They quickly headed to said destination with Minho riding his bike and the rest are on their skateboards. Once they reached the beach, they saw a girl in the same uniform as them sitting by the sands. It didn't take them long to realize it was Nari who was waiting for them. "Minji", Nari called as she immediately ran to her the moment she saw her. "Are you okay? No scratches or anything", Minji asked as they got closer. "I'm okay but my driver", Nari responded with her voice trailing off. "There are just some events that are inevitable", Minji said in the most not assuring way possible. "Thanks Minji, that cheered me up", Nari said sarcastically. "Yup, that's Minji", Jisung teased. "why did you even ask me to go here", Nari now asked. "Do you wanna live or not", Minji asked as if it wasn't obvious enough. "I know I'm the next target but no need to scare me like that", Nari said with a frown.
"You saw that man dying Nari, he shows no mercy", Minji said looking straight into her eyes. "Then what do you suggest we do then", Nari asked seeing that Minji herself is showing no signs of sympathy whatsoever. "Tell me, where is it exactly that you want to study", Minji asked suddenly changing the subject. "Germany", Nari answered almost immediately. "Okay, seems to me you really wanna go there", Minji commented. "Yeah, it has been a dream of mine ever since. Anyone that asks me that, I tend to answer immediately out of habit", Nari explained shyly. "Let's make that happen", Minji said fishing out her phone dialing. "Wait what? No way! Really", Nari asked excitingly. "Darling, how does Berlin sound", Minji asked still fixated on her phone. "That would be amazing actually", Nari responded. "Okay Nari, full scholarship grant in the Humboldt University of Berlin, any program of your liking", Minji said without looking at her. "Seriously? Don't lead me on like that. Really Minji", Nari asked as she can't contain her excitement at this point. "Just one catch darling", Minji suddenly said making Nari lose her excitement in an instant. "Okay, hit me", Nari said losing the enthusiasm. "You have to change your identity. Kwon Nari should die here. Who you'll be in Germany will be completely up to me", Minji responded which shocked not only Nari but also Minho and the four.
"Yeah fine by me", Nari said shrugging which further shocked Minho and the four. "Great so we have an agreement then", Minji asked extending a hand towards Nari gesturing a handshake. "We have an agreement", Nari responded as she shook Minji's hand with a smile. "Can you promise me something", Minji asked as soon as their hands separated. "Anything", Nari said nodding. "When you get to Germany, I want you to live your life to the fullest and completely forget your life as Kwon Nari. Take this opportunity to start your new life free from the chains that's holding you down", Minji said which made Nari tear up as she nodded aggressively. "I will do everything I can to fulfill this promise, I won't let you down Minji", Nari responded with a smile as tears continued to stream down her eyes. "Call me Madeleine", Minji said as she enveloped her in a hug. "And from now on, I'll call you Emilia Hoffmann", Minji continued separating from the hug which shocked Nari. "What", Nari asked. Minji just showed her the document emailed to her which contains Nari's information sheet as Emilia Hoffmann. "Damn that's quick", Nari reacted. "Well we have a lot of those", Minho said making Minji laugh.
"First thing tomorrow, we will kill Kwon Nari, okay? I will have your new documents ready by tomorrow evening and your flight will be the day after tomorrow and you will fly as Emilia", Minji started instructing Nari. "But you told me I'll be heading straight to university", Nari asked. "Yes you will. Like what I said, I will have your new documents ready by tomorrow evening. As Emilia, you are an incoming freshman in university at Berlin. University starts in 4 months, I'll have you a personal language tutor who will also be your translator whenever you head out only until she knows you can effectively communicate on your own", Minji explained which overwhelmed Nari. "Why would you even go out of your way to save me", Nari asked. "Because I've sworn to fix whatever mess our dad creates and to always save the innocent whenever I can", Minji answered. "That scary scary man", Nari muttered yet audible to the bunch. "How scary is he", Jisung asked joining the conversation. "So damn fucking scary. That gosh darn Grand Duke of whatever damn I hate him", Nari answered with a sour expression on her face. "Oh, yeah", Jisung reacted as he enlarged his eyes looking at the three.
"How about you Minji... no wait Madeleine", Nari asked. "I'll stay here, he wouldn't hurt me and I actually want to see him try", Minji answered. "The longer you'll stay here the more people he'll hurt", Nari said knocking some sense into Minji. "I like my life here that's why I'm standing my ground. I won't leave my life here. That's why I'm doing everything I can to stop him and his games", Minji explained. "How will you do that", Minho now asked. "I have my ways and I have multiple plans, at least one has to work, right", Minji said shrugging as she smiled. "Is one of your multiple plans is to kill him", Minho asked making Minji laugh. "That will only make me play his game and that's not how I play", Minji responded. "So how do you play exactly", Jisung asked. "No... how will we play exactly", Felix corrected emphasizing the word 'we' making Minji's smile grow. "We will play my game", Minji responded as she started to walk towards the road and away from the sands.
