The weekend passed and it was another day of school for the bunch. Minji and Minho headed to school with their usual route yet when they reached the school, it was unusually crowded outside. They then saw police cars parked outside by the school field. The siblings looked at each other for a second as they both had a bad feeling about it. They parked their bikes and proceeded to run inside only to be blocked by the four from going any further. "What the hell is going on", Minho immediately asked. "I think we should talk about this outside", Felix whispered. "Talk about what", Minji asked trying to take a peek at whatever is happening beyond where they are. "Outside Ji, come on", Hyunjin said placing an arm on her shoulders and dragging her towards the exit, Seungmin and Jisung doing the same to Minho as Felix followed from behind. They walked towards the back part of the school where they were sure there were no other people around the area. "What on earth is happening", Minji asked. "Keep it down, calm down first then we'll tell you", Jisung whispered impatiently as he stayed on guard looking around the area ensuring that it was clear.
"Ji-ho's dead", Felix finally said which confused Minji. "Who's that", Minji asked which made Minho face palm himself. "The president's son who you call bastard", Jisung answered whispering. "Oh so that's his name", Minji said which made everyone else face palm themselves. "Oh... oh no", Minji said with an innocent look seeing everyone else's reaction to her statement. "Damn it Minji", Minho said frustratingly. "Where is he and what happened to him", Minji now asked. "He's at their classroom and he's hanged", Felix explained. "Just hanged? Tell me the specifics", Minji asked wanting the very detailed explanation. "It's done to seem like he did it himself but we think it's the latter", Felix explained just confusing Minji more. "We saw this on both your lockers, we immediately took them as soon as we saw them", Seungmin said handing the siblings the notes they took from their lockers. "This is your first warning. Don't ever forget how I warned you", the note read with the handwriting the same as the first note they saw on their lockers. "Shit how about Nari", Minji immediately asked as soon as she read the note. "We saw her a while ago by the classroom door", Hyunjin answered.
"You have to us now what is really happening Minji. Yes, we now know how serious this is so that's why we now want to be in this, we can't let you face this all alone Minji", Felix said. "I'm here", Minho said with eyebrows furrowed. "No offense", Jisung whispered. "A lot already taken", Minho responded now with a frown. "I don't think this is to be discussed here", Minji sighed in defeat with her eyes wondering as she thought about what Felix said. "Classes for the day are suspended anyways", Seungmin said reading from his phone a text message from one of his acquittances. "Let's head to our house", Minho immediately said. "Are you sure", Minji asked. "I think they're right Minji, I think it's time", Minho responded as the four kept shifting gazes back and forth from Minji to Minho in anticipation of where their conversation is heading. "Fine if you say so", Minji said in defeat. "Does this mean we're in", Seungmin asked excitingly. "Yeah yeah fine whatever you want to call it", Minji responded making the four visibly ecstatic. "Don't get too excited, prepare to suffer", Minji said silencing the four as she walked past them. "Yeah, don't get too intimidated", Minho said before walking past them as well.
They then headed to the Lee's Residence only to find it somewhat messier than before. "What the hell do they even do in the morning", Minji complained with a disgusted look on her face. "We don't mind", Jisung reacted. "I wasn't even thinking about you", Minji responded making the rest laugh. "So what is exactly going on Ji", Hyunjin straight up asked. "Would you believe me if I tell you that I'm a princess", Minji asked which suddenly made the four burst out laugh. "And I am the King of Narnia", Jisung joked making them laugh harder. Their laughter was cut short when they saw the looks on Minho's and Minji's faces. "No shit", Seungmin asked. "No seriously Minji, what is really going on", Felix asked as well. "See? One reason why I don't want you in this mess is because you wouldn't believe me", Minji frustratingly said throwing both her hands up in the air. "Minho", Seungmin asked as they turned towards Minho. He was awfully silent with a frown. "What the fuck", Jisung asked standing up and looking around. "How can a prince and princess live in a cramped and shitty house like this, even be going to a public school for crying out loud", Jisung continued to asked as he made grand gestures with his hands to exaggerate his points.
"Because we don't want that life, okay", Minji responded. "And I'm not a prince", Minho clarified. "And how is that possible", Hyunjin asked. "Because I'm the Hereditary Grand Duke of Luxembourg", Minho answered earning a more surprised look from the four. "Oh come on, tell me you're lying", Felix said shifting gazes from Minho to Minji. The two stayed silent again. "This must me some sort of prank, where are the hidden cameras, you already got us", Jisung said still in denial as he tried to search for said hidden cameras. "It's either you're in or not, make the decision now so I wouldn't tire myself to explain to someone who wouldn't believe it", Minji said with a dissatisfied expression. "Fine, show us some proof", Jisung said. "That's the problem, I don't have any proof because ever since, I tried so hard to forget about that life", Minji responded making the four fall silent. "Okay, we'll listen. No judgement this time around", Felix now said making the three nod in agreement. 
"Okay, first off, my real name is Madeleine", Minji said. "And your surname", Hyunjin asked. "None. We only use de Nassau whenever needed but we don't really have a surname", Minji explained making them nod. "How about you? What's your real name", Jisung asked facing Minho. "Mathieu", Minho shortly answered in a low voice. "Ma- what now", Jisung continued to ask. "Mathieu okay, Ma-thieu", Minho repeated this time louder with clearer pronunciation. "Rich names are complicated man", Hyunjin commented. "It's French", Minho responded rolling his eyes. "Explains why you only look half Korean", Felix said. "Well yeah no, we don't have any Korean blood", Minji said which brought another wave of surprise for the four. "Then where did you get your Korean names from", Seungmin asked. "Our father paid for it, the government here is money-hungry you know, would do anything for that cash", Minho explained. "Now that is true", Felix reacted. "How about your situation here, why are you living in a cramped house and attending public school", Hyunjin asked. "We rebelled. We didn't want that life. We did the same thing that he did before", Minji explained. "You have two older brothers right? Like older than you", Felix asked facing Minho. "Yeah why", Minho asked back. 
"Then shouldn't the oldest child be the Hereditary Grand Duke or something", Felix asked. "Okay, we aren't really related to them", Minji answered which made the four lose it. "What? Then who are they", Jisung asked feeling like he's a madman. "They are programmed to be our older brothers", Minho responded to which the four starting acting crazy. "They're programmed? What are they? Robots", Seungmin asked still trying to make sense of everything they are hearing right now. "We saved them from being tortured to death and what they are doing now is returning the favor by being our brothers and providing for us, plus, we really do need a legal guardian so that's that", Minji explained. "Still nothing makes sense to us", Felix said shaking his head as he tried to connect the dots. "Okay okay how about your biological mom, where is she", Hyunjin asked. "Our father killed her", Minji responded almost immediately and nonchalantly which was somewhat alarming and ultimately surprising. "What", Felix asked completely shocked. "Oh no wait", Minji said as she tried to retract her statement. "Our father had her killed because according to him, she was useless", Minji clarified which petrified the four. 
"And may their soul rest in pieces", Minho joked as he saw their reaction. "Like in a million little pieces, they seem to have their souls out and scattered already", Minji added which made Minho laugh. "How is he that dangerous", Seungmin suddenly asked. "He has the entire Korean government in his hands. He gets whatever he wants in a simple snap of his fingers. Even the death of the president's son? That's what he wanted", Minho said not really answering the question. "But why does he want him dead", Hyunjin asked. "He must have figured out that we already know that he sent Nari and that bastard to our school to keep close tabs on the both of us", Minji explained. "But why would he do that", the questions are just never ending. "Because he needs Minho to take the throne and if he doesn't have it his way, it's either that or death. He just seem to have some fascination killing people and it's so damn disturbing", Minji continued to explain to which only sunk in to them how serious the situation really is. "How about Nari, what will happen to her", Hyunjin asked as concern enveloped their faces.
"I don't know but we have to make sure she's safe. I'll get her out the country before he could hurt her", Minji said as she brought out her phone and immediately dialed Nari. "She said rich", Jisung teased. "She is rich, stupid", Seungmin said smacking Jisung by the back of his head. "I may or may not have nobility perks and may or may not have two cards with me and may or may not know the passwords for them", Minji said shocking Minho. "All this time Minji? Seriously", Minho asked in disbelief. "Explains why she has the latest phone", Felix commented. "Plus her skateboard is like top of the line", Seungmin commented as well. "Minji what the hell", Minho continued to ask seeing that Minji remained silent just awkwardly laughing. "I just want you to live with your belief or advocacy, whatever you want to call it, that we can make it on our own" Minji awkwardly explained. "Give me one, life's hard", Minho said approaching Minji with his hand extended. "I thought you'd never ask", Minji said as she happily handed Minho one card.
