Only Queen, as Roselyn now prefers calling the English name instead of Ochanya, did not give her reasons to be scared. she only stays close helping out and all she could say was 'Aunty sorry, how do you feel now? you will be fine' Apart from that every other thing she talks about is about herself. She never lacks topic for discussion as though she's been gathering them waiting till she gets a listener. 
"Aunty, there's this guy who once came to our shop to get his mother cleaned up. From that day he's been coming to our shop to see me. He wants me to be his girlfriend"
"Is your boss aware of his coming and intentions?"
"He already made it obvious to everyone. I should be the one to worry about his coming to our shop, as my madam would not accept any form of distraction but she's rather the one making him feel free to come. She always call him my would-be in-law"
"Hmm...Do you see him as a good person? do you like him?"
"Hmm I'm not sure but he is not a bad person either. ahh.. he is funny and caring. Just that he always make me shy"
"From what I can gather, you are well with him. You have your heart already lost to him and you must not hold yourself back. Good people can't be identified from the start, because even the worse ones present themselves alike. You must give it a trial. Some people are not perfect but are amendable when they meet the right people. In addition, for your madam to always welcome him it means she knows him and trusts him and she loves you also, so it will be hard for him to misbehave"
"Won't it affect my studies?"

           This response was satisfying. She often see reasons to be close to Roselyn. she wasn't like those who would first castigate ideas and discourage it. 
"I was hearing some noise downstairs before you came in what happened?"
"Oh it was those girls. They were complaining how prices of items in the market went so high"
"That's not a new thing. Everyone knows that the country gets worse every day. whatever you buy one thousand naira today don't expect to get it the same price tomorrow, if you do then you are lucky. My dear, people are suffering. Things are going high, no job. Those who has are not well paid, some people's salaries are seized for months, beggars in the street increases, people dying in the hospital of both minor sickness and major sickness, orphanage receives children everyday not because they have no parent but because their parent can't afford fending for them. My dear if you view this country on a wider scale you will understand that this country has spoiled beyond repair. Everyone contributes to it. Both the masses and the government but I can boldly tell you that the government took ninety percent and which they are the reason many atrocities rise on daily basis, because people are striving to survive, so they don't care what extent it requires. 
                No country with greedy leaders as Nigeria. They don't even hide their atrocities, they make it open. what can anyone do? They are the power, any opposition goes down. so will a country like this ever make amends, when they derive pleasure in seeing people groan and wail? They have been praying and hoping for better days before we were born, we joined the motion but it gets worse everyday. You think it started today? hmm.. from the time of our grand parents, my dear.
              In primary school they made us believe we are the leaders of tomorrow but up till now the leaders of yesterday are still there. people older than our grand parents taking turns in the government. What tomorrow are we hoping for when the country has become a family inheritance to some greedy leaders? We have no right or choice in this country. Your future can even be determined by the society. many students graduate every year, no job available. Instead many companies and projects are been closed. with your certificate you can't get a job. You only stand a chance if you know someone at the top or you offer your body or money. So tell me, what's the use of certificates? those learning business and craft takes better decisions. If not for my parents you think I would choose this over handwork? We waste money on education that can not guarantee us a better life with money you can actually put in one or two businesses and flourish.     
             Why do you think people prefer traveling abroad? When you mention a foreign country it sounds like heaven. If our country was balanced what will people go out to look for? Nothing, because we have all we need. Even our leaders can't stay in their own country, they shamelessly travel abroad with their families, meet their fellow leaders, I wonder how they face them there. They enjoy the economy and atmosphere forgetting that their fellow leader made it possible. Very senseless, shameless and useless set of creatures"
             It was as though Roselyn has been waiting for this chance all her life. Her words were flowing out endlessly. The more she spoke the more she's pained and has more to say. 
                In the morning she hastened to the clinic to get her results. The doctor didn't sound serious as every doctor would when giving a pregnancy results. 
"As you go to the front, give this list to the nurse and she will give you the drugs I wrote here. Quick recovery" He issued her a piece of paper he scribbled in. She took it and left nervously. She wanted to know what the result was but at the same time she was scared to check.
