"One of his girlfriends visited and caught him with another girl" The girl explained walking behind Roselyn with the bucket of water she got from the tap. They hurried up the stairs to witness the fight.
"I have been calling him for days and he keeps telling me he's not in town. Just today someone told me he's been around, I doubted but I still needed to be sure. I came and not just that he was around, he was right on another girl" The cheated girlfriend explained to someone. Many guys were on the corridor trying to sort the case. They took the girl aside to avoid a fight and also the guy involved was led aside but as for the girl cheated with, she remained inside. she must be embarrassed to show her face.
"What's going on here?" A girl asked Roselyn who was just looking at everyone confusedly.
"I don't know, actually" Roselyn looked at her. She recognized her. she's one of the girl that visits this same guy. This could be his friend but if at all she's one of his girlfriends then things are going to get worse. 
"I heard my boyfriend got some issues, where is he"? Her response already made everything clear. She was muddled trying to speak but what could she say, stop her? What will she say to get her convinced? She's already left her even. She just stared.
           Just as she predicted the fight got intensified. Witness could no longer keep the guy around. They snuck him into hiding. The summary of this whole thing is that to the first girl, he got her pregnant and has been trying to avoid her by lying that he's not around. To the second girl, the relationship haven't lasted up to two weeks and he makes her believe she's the only one he got. And the third girl was a new catch. He's always careful not to let them visit without his consent but this time, from the first girl's explanation she was told by someone.
"This guy should have become a pornstar since fucking is a hobby. He would make money and fame from there. He is wasting his talent" This was Flesh speaking, not knowing he was standing close to Uju. By this time the case got subsided, those involved were no longer on sight, only the witnesses who still have to say what they have been keeping in mind long before the incidence and those who have to explain the whole situation to those who came late, were still there. As you all know, this people usually spice up stories to make it sweet. 
"Mumu, you call that careless lifestyle talent"
"Oh, mother marry, sorry Roselyn " He stammered as he got startled.
"Mother marry right? Joseph the carpenter. That's how you guys support evil. Some one messed up and you are even suggesting he did something worse"
"What I said is just a harmless suggestion. If he was here he would appreciate it "
"I don't doubt it. He is that type. cake brains"
"Roselyn let's not take painkillers on another man's headache. You know how we are. Anything for the boys?" Flesh changed the topic immediately, looking unfit as he turned to an inferior with his indirect begging style. 
"Where are the boys?"
"Me of course, in Flesh and blood, make the boy happy" laughing shy scratching his head. 
"Old man like you. Your small stature is deceiving you. Your mates all have children"
"Ah, Roselyn just this small request you want to next it to another level. Not like this. You just killed my joy" Flesh said slowing away.
"Your joy! I knew it. You were enjoying the fight" This got Flesh speechless. For God sake what has their discussion has to do with the fight? She was simply trying to turn the topic. She often have her ways of winning arguments. He decided to leave at once. 
          Roselyn's phone started ringing from inside. She rushed to pick but it ended before she could reach. It was a new number. It must be someone she knows, she reasoned that installing true caller would have made it easier to identify the caller. While still on this, the number called again.
"Roselyn, right? it's me, Richard's mother. How are you? I got your number from my son. Hope you are not busy? Chiamaka has been disturbing me that she wants to see you. we are missing you already"
"Oh hello chiamaka" Roselyn did not know which to reply first, the woman said a lot at a time. "I miss you guys too. how are you doing?"
"We are fine. Aunty when are you coming?" This was the little girl's voice, sounds excited.
"Hmm.. I don't know for now.. but eh..."
"Yeah, you are busy with studies, I know. but, you are on WhatsApp right?"
"Yeah, this same number"
"Ok, end the call let me add you so we can talk on video"
"Yess!!! " Chiamaka screamed. 
"That's great, right away" Roselyn. Their conversation was so fun that it left Roselyn smiling even after few hours later. Becoming a friend to her lover's family was a good sign that they were meant for each other. Because in most relationships, how one relate with a partner's family determines how strong the relationship is. If your mother in-law got your back then you have nothing to worry about. 
"Hello, babe" Roselyn speaking with Roselyn on phone, calling to tell him her discussion with his mom and sister. First time she called Richard something order than his name. Feels romantic "Where are you?"
"Most precious, how are you? yeah, I'm rrh... I went to check results at the... "
"What result? "
"I applied for Nigerian army."
"Nigerian army? For yourself? When? but why?" Roselyn did not buy the idea. 
"Sorry I did not tell you but my reasons was that it won't make sense that I tell you and later I wasn't selected. I want to be sure I get it then I will be telling you and also inviting you for a celebration"
"I'm sorry we need to see" She was instantly getting tensed. 
           What if he is selected, pass screenings, trainings and get recruited? Won't he demand for a breakup? Assuming he doesn't do so, it's certain he's going to obey every order to fight whatever comes up. Won't she loose him in a battle? won't he find another woman to replace her? Won't he place his career above her? why this? This called for tears. She could not hold it.
