She had a stomach pain. it was the usual feminine stuff. She had to visit a nearby pharmacy to get something for it. As she burst into the street she saw a group of boys surrounding an electric pole. There was someone at the top, probably an electrician from the government office. Apparently he came to cut the light but the guys there took away the ladder and he's been there shouting. He couldn't climb down, he was scared and not just for injuries when he slips down the pole but also scared that the boys will pounce on him. The rest of his colleagues were already chased away with stones and so it was just him and so no one will intervene. "In one month we saw light just three times and all were low currents. voltage we can't use even to charge phones. Now he is coming to cut the light because we refused to pay light bills" One of the boys explained to another guy who was as well confused about what was happening. "This NEPA people deserve worse. The bills increases every month yet we don't see light. However nobody is doing anything about it" Roselyn left the place, the abdominal pain reminded her she was going somewhere. Just few steps away, the police siren was heard wailing from a distance and was zooming close. She turned back to see if the boys heard it too, as a matter of fact nobody was there. They all disappeared. She smiled. The reason was that boys always fight the police especially when their rights are being violated but today they ran away. That day Richard called her to announce the return of his bike. it's been a week since it was missing. she went to his place to see them. As usual, they welcomed her warmly. She was already a family member. They were so free to talk about anything with her. Richard told her about the second list. It was out but his name was still not included. From how he explained, it seems he was sad and hopeless. He was already seeing the last list as the same. "If the third one didn't come with my name I will consider your idea" He said to Roselyn calmly. "It will, just be optimistic. it's not late" Roselyn encouraged, but the question is, was it from the depth of her heart she said that? Does she really wish what she said or was she saying it because that's exactly what Richard needed at the moment to stay positive.? He needed a comforter and which he got.
