Apple's Point of View
For a while, I didn't get my heart. I kept on saying this was nothing but a plain consciousness towards myself. But every time I still keep on finding him in the midst of the crowd. I can say that he would be my secret crush because I'm afraid people would think differently.
My classmate knew that I have boyfriend because that's what I said to them and they believed me without attesting to it.
"Let's buy the cup noodles, I'm hungry" Ayen asks me and I agree. We both went out to the room and we saw Frederic and his friends also going out.
We both stared at each other but then I decided to stop staring and focus on the way to the elevator. We were on the elevator and it was really quiet. Ayen and I don't really talk that much and after that we went ahead of those guys.
Ayen and I weren't really that close. I can say that we are just talking for study and that's it. We don't really talk about much more things like having fun and going out. We just pretty much bonded because we played games when the teacher still didn't arrive and because we're classmates.
I also couldn't trust her or them. I feel like they can feel it because I didn't open up that much on them and I am quiet and awkward. I also feel that they were feeling me and my feelings towards things.
We even got in the elevator again. We were once more quiet because we didn't really bond, we don't even talk to them up until now and I hope that we wouldn't really talk to them because I'm not comfortable around them.
Our teacher, the one who ships us because of the debate, goes to our elevator. That's why it goes loud because they keep on teasing him and asking him whatever their topic was. Then he left the elevator on the fifth floor.
Our floor was on the sixth floor so we needed one more floor to get out of this elevator. And when the door opens once more on the sixth floor we all get out and goes straight inside the elevator.
"Let's play Uno, the teacher wouldn't arrive, they say" Alina says. We all nodded and unpacked the Uno that Mina had. We also check our phone, I check mine to get information on whether who's going to pick me up.
"Sister, left the area we're being left out" Danielle, the gay friend that we just have commented on. I was confused at first but just laughed it off when I realised. Damn, they really buy the boyfriend thing made by me.
"I was just checking on his message" I lied. They all laugh and continue the game. I'm close to our new classmates but there were just a few whom I'm talking to.
After that, we're going home because the teacher really didn't arrive to discuss it with us. I just waited in the parking lot just as usual because I think Aunt Alona would be the one who would pick me up.
"Hi, Apple is your name right?" Someone asked me. I eyed her from head to toe and got uncomfortable because I didn't know her.
My parents always tell me not to talk with strangers because they might have kidnapped me and worse could happen after that. I ignored her and kept on checking through my phone. I was even tapping on my feet to release the anxiety that I'm feeling.
"You really look and act like your mom. You're both tough and smart to act in this kind of scenario but I'm going to introduce myself to you so you wouldn't think that I'm a stranger" She started.
I just looked down on my phone and wouldn't make eye contact with her. I really wish that my parents would be able to track me down once I get kidnapped by this stranger. I send the description of this lady that kept on pestering me.
"I'm Riza, Rena's mom and I could say to you that your dad has a brother who's a psychopath and if I tell him where you are, he might kill you in an instant like what he did to your Aunt" She said and that's why I look up to her.
"Look lady, I don't know who you are and I'm going to tell you that you can't just go on people and make stuff and want them to believe in you because that makes no sense. You're just saying that my classmate's dad was a psychopath because her mom made up the story" I said.
"You really don't know things. I'm going to ask you where you are right now? On your Aunt's place because your parents say that your house is in a mess? And they aren't lying, they were keeping you away so as not to get hurt by him and I'm not going to tell some people with a made up story because I'm not a crazy person like your grandparents" She said and smirked at me.
That was the last time since after that Aunt Alona ran to her and shouted at her. But she stood her so proudly like what she said was really true.
What bothers me the most was why did she know what my parents told me? They've told me that the house is in a mess and I couldn't think of any of it. Has she spied on us for a long time now?
"Auntie, I'm guessing that woman is harmful, I think she has a connection that can gather information about us" I said.
"Don't listen to her, Apple and just don't go to the parking lot anymore. I'm going to pick you up at school because It's so dangerous out there, "she explains. I nodded and just trusted her and my parents to solve their own problem.
Days passed by just like that, I kept on waiting for my Aunt Alona inside of the school grounds as I didn't want to bump into that woman again.
"Apple, what are you doing there? Waiting for someone to pick you up, what are you a child?" Rena teases me along with her circle of friends which I also knew since they were our classmates.
She also hangs out with Frederic and his friends. I squinted my eyes at her and she really does look like that woman. They have similarities with each other.
"I'm waiting for someone to pick me up because there's someone who harms me and you, Rena knows it" I said and smirked at her. I could tell that she was embarrassed because of that but I just ignored her.
I could tell that I'm also going to have a hard life here since Rena wouldn't stop. She wouldn't stop until she gets bored in Alina and that's why I can attest that she's really going hard on me. But I couldn't be bothered because I know how to fight and ignore.
If she gave me a hard life, I would spill the tea that I had on her. I would think that would be my winning time since it would be a real deal but I have sympathy so I would hold longer.
"I'm staying here for a while, bros. Go on now" I could hear people and someone sat beside me. I look up and see my classmates talking to each other, bidding their goodbyes at each other.
"Okay, bye bro. See you tomorrow" My classmates leave my guy classmate who wears glasses. This guy was really picking my interest but I'm just ignoring it for a while now.
Aunt Alona finally arrived to pick me up and I didn't look back if he would stay there for a while. Aunt Alona told me that she would drop me off at our house. Finally it was good to be back at the house.
"Mom! Dad!" I greet them with a loud voice and hug them. I really miss them and I didn't see their faces for a while.
I wish we could be free from seeing each other now. I promise that I wouldn't ask for someone that they don't want me to see and I would just follow their order so I wouldn't get hurt.
I would trust them because they are my parents and I'm thankful that they were not harmed in those days that we weren't able to see them. I loved them so much and I would just trust them and them only.
