"Sancho, dammi subito un volo per due per Zanzibar....." I heard Damon speak to someone on the phone but didn't understand anything he said. When he was done with the phone call, he cursed almost smashing his phone on the tree he sought shade from, he said something like, "Sono fottutamente stanco di questa famiglia" so I suppose it wasn't a good word since he sounded furious while saying it.
Moving closer to him might seem as a bad idea at this point but I know that no amount of anger or rage within him will make him hurt me, he has proven that several times.
"Hey.... Are you alright?" I touch his arm hoping it will cool him down a little.
Smiling... He sent my loose hair to the back of my ear. "Let's leave.... I already had someone book us a plane ticket to Zanzibar, it's a wonderful island.... You will love it" he kissed my hands countless times. "Go get your things"
I didn't respond to him or leave to do as he had requested rather I stood there watching him getting worked up over everything, before I said, "I love you" it was the first time I had said this words to man and actually meant it.
I actually love Damon, even more now that I have seen him getting ready to pull down the heavens just so nothing could come between us. Damon was my everything. Each new talent I find of him makes him more and more sexy in my eyes.... Like his Italian accent that rolled from him beautiful lips.
He rubbed my wrist but didn't say that he loved me back.... It was fine, there was no rule that states that when a lover tells her partner that he or she loves him or her they must reciprocate by saying the words back to them. Fore he doesn't need to say the words all I wanted is that he shows it.
"What has running away ever done, Damon? If we keep running they are going to keep following us, so it's best we just stay back, infact I am grateful for being with me this whole week... It was unexpected of you but I really appreciate it, I don't want to go anywhere again"
" .....b" he wanted to contest my decision but stopped, "If that is what you want then I will not disagree with you" he said leaving me to attend to the worker who had called him for assistance.
I just stood there for a while admiring the apple on the tree that I slowly desire taste for, that's when I saw Cander coming towards me, I wanted to avoid him by running away but the only path suitable for passing was were he was coming from, the other places were line trees which had thorns on them.
"Priscilla... I heard about your mother passing just now, are you alright?" He asked looking itterly worried for my sake.
"I'm fine" I said brushing the pitiful hands on my arm before walking away from him.
He didn't try stopping me, I was the one who stopped in my tracks when I heard him say, "He is going to hurt you" I went straight to him and offered him a slap that resounded which made the birds on the tree start flapping their wings getting ready to leave.
"Irony of life, is it not? Three months ago I had confessed my feelings for you, I had told you of how much I loved you and yet you walked away not giving me a reason, I later got to know that you were in relationship with Elizabeth...." I bit my lips from saying anymore.
"Things was different then, we were just getting to know each other and then you confessed, I was just to early...." He said stepping forward to meet me.
I took a step backwards so he won't have to touch me, "Well... Things are different now, I am with Damon and both of us enjoy each other company, we are a power couple" I said proudly.
"Don't be delusional Priscilla.... Damon has a lot going on and I don't want you to get entangled with it when he himself can barely handle his own life.... I worry for you not only as a friend but as someone who loves and cares for you" he tried again to reach out to me but shoved his hands away.
"Well Xander I should let you know that both your love and friendship with me all expired today, I should let you know that you still have Elizabeth and Liliana to cater for, so focus on them both cause I will be giving Damon the child that he always wanted but Elizabeth denied him"
"Don't be silly Priscilla.... You and I know that Damon is sterile" Xander said with a laugh like he was movking both I and Damon for dreaming big.
I scoffed. "Sterile? I should have you know Rachel was carrying child before she died, please don't tell me that it's a coincidence she died before her baby was born, Elizabeth should know better if she herself isn't holding a secret!" I paused to think about the accusation I had made before I blurted yet another one, "And oh... I won't tell that you slept with Alicia.... Sorry let me rephrase... You have been sleeping with Alicia for a while now"
I saw as his face went blank. "Now tell me, between you and Damon who do you think has the capability to hurt me?" I used my shoulder to push him and left.
I hate Xander's face now, how dare he say that Damon would hurt me.... He is the one who is bloody sleeping with his brother's fiancee. That day I had gone into Xander's house that there was a female in there in his room, I was able to sight the green slippers Alicia wore today to put on a show for Damon's whole family, it was the same slippers I saw at the doorstep while I was running away, although Alicia had returned that same moment in tears feeling rejected.
Pot calling kettle black.... If anyone is to be apologized to then it is Damon, Damon is someone who has been caught in his family own web.
I hate Xander so much! I won't even be surprised if he had screwed Jeanette as well... I mean he is a key player after all. Even after he has taken over one of Damon businesses he still is making waves on the free and searching magazine which is one of the best magazines ever.
I don't think I can ever forgive him, it's no wonder Beatriz throws all the big brother role on Damon alone cause she herself know that it is something her first son can not do.
