After the handwritten message on the envelope, the message on the paper was quite empty but typed, which meant that who ever that is doing this had access to a printer and computer. There was someone I knew had that but here was a high tendency that he wasn't the one.
Whether or not he was the one playing hanky panky with me, that will be decided later, I took another look at the note, it read; "Find out where Beatriz goes to very early in the morning" and that was it.
I did remember back when I was sneaking back and forth to Damon's room, I did actually see Beatriz go out by 5 am in the morning, well dressed. I really didn't put in much consideration cause I was much focused on not been seen than to care where were Damon's mother goes to.
It wasn't much of a case since she returned afterwards at around Eight in the morning and told everyone she had been at the botanical garden, so they too never much cared. I guess now I am the one to care.
I went to bed with the intention of waking up early to follow Beatriz in the morning. I eventually woke up but at that time it was already late, turns out I had set the alarm to five in the afternoon. If the persistent knock on the door hadn't woken me up I think I should still be sleeping by now.
Elizabeth was the one at the door with Liliana in her hand, she begged if it was possible for me take care of Liliana while she is away at work, and the nanny was preoccupied with her exams today, even her mom and dad were both traveling off to somewhere today and she just couldn't entrust her with Beatriz.
She said so much to butter me up into accepting but there wasn't much need for that since Liliana was my child as well as hers and there was no way she can be a bother to me, even in the boring mansion, someone like me deserves company and if Liliana was going to be my company I will be more than delighted to have her.
She handed Liliana to me along with her bag which contains all of Liliana stuffs, like her diapers for example which is very much needed right now cause little Liliana just did some bad thing to the other one.
I wiped her butt with the baby wipes in the bag and wore her a new diaper, as I was about taking the used diaper to the incinerator outside, Liliana uttered something that stopped me in my tracks, she said her first word and I think it was "Mama" I really didn't want to keep my hopes up incase if it wasn't what I think I heard.
I went back to her. Urged her to repeat what she had just said and she did. I squealed with joy as loud for the others to hear as I carried her in my arms to boast to the others.
"Liliana just said her first word!" I screamed at the top of my voice, even Elizabeth who was close to leaving had heard this and ran back up.
"What did she say?" Damon asked since he was the first to get to me, the perk of having my room next to his. I sized him up and down before rolling my eyes at him, then hissed.
Elizabeth had asked me the same question and I responded, "She just called me mom...." I said with a wide smile on my face and Elizabeth frowned. "Or Mama... Anyone she still said it to me" I pointed at myself, oblivious to her current mood.
"She should've meant me, I mean I was holding her before she you did.... Let me have her" Elizabeth took her away from me ad Damon joined her to see if they could both get her to recognize them as her parents.
"What did you say? Liliana just called you mom" Xander said and I agreed with a nod. I really didn't know when we were both jumping with joy while holding our hands, he even pulled me into a hug that I allowed because of how happy I was.
He later left me to see Liliana. Elizabeth was still forcing Liliana to call her mom and so was Damon. Liliana stretched out her hand to both me and Xander while saying, "mama... Dada" I squealed once again and so did Xander who expressed his happiness by swooping Liliana away from Elizabeth into his arms.
"Yes! I am your Dada" Xander kissed her all over. Both Damon and Elizabeth were both astonished by this, Damon was utterly speechless as his face went cold at all this, Elizabeth on the other hand had decided not to go to work anymore and was willing to make it her life work to get Liliana to call her Mom.
"Say it again...." I begged Liliana and she kept on saying it, I think her parent will be hurt by this but who cares, Liliana just called me mom!
"What with all the happiness in the morning?" Beatriz asked when she saw all of us gathered together, she wasn't dressed like I'd expected her to be, infact she had on gardening wear which was a little muddy at the edge of the baggy jeans she had on, her gardening gloves was still on her hands.
Xander had given her a brief explanation of what happened, she seemed a little happy that Liliana didn't acknowledge Elizabeth but she wasn't please that she did with me. She further carried Liliana from Xander's hand as she forced Liliana to call her granny--- a word I thought she hated been called.
What came out of Liliana's mouth had me laughing as I tried so hard to cover my mouth but I had to let it out. Damon had raised a brow at me as he moved to wipe his mother's face. Turns out we had shaken Liliana too so much which made her barf.
Beatriz face should be called milky way as the milk Liliana as her morning food dripped from her head to her forehead and down to her face and mouth. Damon and Xander helped her to her room so she could wash it off properly.
She later came back to glare at me, I have never seen her this much angry and that too with me. I still didn't understand how our perfectly good relationship became strained as it was now, I did know Damon was the reason almost everyone who loved me hated me now.
"I hope you can keep laughing when you run the pregnancy test in front of us" she said as she went to welcome Doctor Ray who was now at our door step. He had a briefcase in his hand as he sat on the couch. "Let's go"
My happiness was suddenly fading at this, I didn't know Beatriz was still going to go along with it despite Damon's disagreement. I mean he was the one I was supposedly pregnant for then why is she taking up this matter with utmost obscurity.
"Hello once again, Miss Priscilla... When I heard you were the one we will be having a test on....."
"Doctor... I don't think this is the right time for all of this" Beatriz cut Doctor Ray short.
"Alright then" Doctor Ray brought out what looked like a thermometer to me but it wasn't, Doctor Ray said something about a HCG test and that my urine was going to detect signs of pregnancy. With watchful eyes on me I went especially when it came from Damon which followed me up to my room. Beatriz had even taken it upon herself to monitor me at my door to hear the swishing sound of my urine.
I sighed as I peed on the pregnancy test thingy, I was going to get caught now unless there was a pregnant woman who can help me pee on this. The doctor had told me to wait for a while before it is shown, I have waited for a while now and nothing was shown as expected.
"Done yet!" Beatriz said, a tone of happiness was indicated in her voice as she still stood at the door. The fear of fooling everyone gripped me, now Damon will truly believe that I was really in need of his filthy money.
After so much waiting I decided to come out ready to face reality, why did I even bother taking it, would've just given up right there to avoid any embarrassment. Seeing my "given up" face, Beatriz snatched the pregnancy test tube this from my hand.
At one glance she looked at it, "You are.... Pregnant" Beatriz said and my eyes widened.
It wasn't what I was expecting her to say but why am I suddenly getting happy about it.
Beatriz and I went back down. I wanted to show my happiness but then they would know that I personally didn't know I was pregnant, until now.
"What did the result say?" Elizabeth asked sounding concerned but Beatriz ignored her and went to the Doctor.
Doctor Ray took a look a it then look up to me,"Congratulations Miss Priscilla, Though this result can be a little tricky and which why I recommend that you come to the hospital for a proper test" he said before taking his leave.
I felt a hand touch mine, when I saw who it was I quickly brush it off, he has no right to touch me now, even though I was carrying his child.
What? I am carrying Damon's child!
"We shall rerun the test at the hospital, then we can be fully sure she isn't lying" Beatriz blabbed.
"That won't be necessary...." Damon said and I think this time it's for good, "Can we talk?" He said to me before taking my hand again.
I refused it, folding my hand. "Fine let's talk" I said, following him to his study.
